Abstract

The main problem examined in this study concerns how the implementation of health insurance services for participants of BPJS Health, specifically those categorized as recipients of contribution assistance (PBI), is carried out in a Regional General Hospital (RSUD). This research applies a combination of approaches, including field research to gather primary data directly from the hospital setting, as well as a theoretical or library research approach to support the analysis with relevant academic sources. In addition, a statutory approach is used to review applicable laws and regulations related to health insurance services. The selection of informants in this study was conducted using a purposive sampling technique, ensuring that participants chosen were considered knowledgeable and relevant to the research objectives. To address the research problem, qualitative descriptive data analysis was employed to interpret and present findings systematically. The results indicate that, according to medical record officers, the implementation of BPJS Health services for PBI participants has been carried out in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOP). However, this perspective differs from that of PBI patients, who report that the services they receive are still not optimal in practice.

Abstract

This study examined the phenomenon of FOBO (Fear of Better Options) among Generation Z from the perspective of Islamic economics, focusing on its implications for consumption and investment behavior. The method used was qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 25 purposively selected Generation Z informants who were active in economic activities in Indonesia. Thematic analysis was conducted using NVivo 12 software. The research results showed that FOBO significantly influenced the decision-making of Generation Z, causing hesitation and delays in commitment in consumption and investment. This behavioral pattern challenged the principles of Islamic economics related to wise financial management and ethical investment. The study discussed the impact of FOBO on financial decisions and provided recommendations for aligning Generation Z's economic behavior with Islamic values. The findings enriched the understanding of modern economic behavior within the Sharia framework and served as a basis for further research on financial literacy and consumer ethics among young Muslim generations.

Abstract

The acceleration of digitalization has driven a paradigm shift in the financial sector towards the adoption of high technology, including Artificial Intelligence ( AI ). Although the implementation of AI such as financing automation and customer service chatbots is increasingly massive in Islamic financial institutions, literature studies that systematically map these research trends are still limited. This study aims to map the trend of scientific publications on the application of AI in Islamic finance through bibliometric analysis and literature reviews for the period 2022–2025 (with projections until 2026) to identify research roadmaps and existing research gaps. This study uses a quantitative approach with bibliometric analysis methods. Data were collected through Publish or Perish (PoP) software from the Google Scholar database with the keywords "Artificial intelligence and Islamic finance." Data visualization and mapping were performed using the VOSviewer application version 1.6.20 to analyze term relationships ( co-occurrence ) and research collaboration between authors. The findings show a significant increase in the number of publications from 2022 to a peak in 2025 with 240 articles, reflecting a shift from a conceptual exploration phase to a practical expansion phase. The cluster analysis identified four main subthemes: Digital transformation and financial inclusion, AI implementation (models, impacts, and challenges),  Technology adoption, regulatory ecosystems, and digital literacy in the digital era.
