Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic Service Excellence, Emotional Attachment, and Experiential Value on Sharia Customer Loyalty in the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia. This study employed a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The research sample consisted of 325 active Islamic bank customers selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires based on a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using SmartPLS 4 through outer model and inner model testing, including validity, reliability, R-Square, Q-Square, effect size, bootstrapping, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that Islamic Service Excellence has a positive and significant effect on Sharia Customer Loyalty. Emotional Attachment is proven to be the most dominant variable affecting customer loyalty. Furthermore, Experiential Value also positively influences Sharia Customer Loyalty. This study contributes theoretically to the development of customer engagement based on Islamic values and provides practical implications for Islamic banks in improving customer loyalty through Islamic service quality, emotional relationships, and valuable service experiences.

Abstract

The Islamic banking industry in Indonesia shows promising growth, reflected in asset expansion and increased public trust in sharia-based financial systems. This study examines the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) on Net Operating Margin (NOM) with Non-Performing Financing (NPF) as an intervening variable in Indonesian Islamic Commercial Banks (Bank Umum Syariah/BUS) during 2022–2024. Using a quantitative associative-causal design with secondary data from 36 monthly observations sourced from OJK publications, the study employs simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, and path analysis. Assessment of classical regression assumptions comprising normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests were all fulfilled. Results indicate that CAR has a significant negative effect on NPF (t = –8.082; Sig. = 0.000), CAR has a significant positive effect on NOM (t = 5.988; Sig. = 0.000), and NPF has a significant positive effect on NOM (t = 4.008; Sig. = 0.000). Path analysis reveals that NOM significantly mediates the relationship between CAR and NPF, with the indirect effect (–4.148) exceeding the direct effect (–1.035). These findings confirm that capital adequacy affects financing quality through the channel of operational profitability. Abstract

The Islamic financial system is a financial framework founded on the principles of the Qur'an and the Sunnah, aiming to promote justice, balance, and blessings in economic activities. Integrated Islamic financial planning has become an essential concept in modern financial management as it combines various financial decisions, including investment, financing, asset and liability management, risk control, and profit distribution in accordance with Islamic principles. This study aims to explain the concept of integrated financial planning from an Islamic perspective and its implementation in corporate financial management. The research employs a literature review method by examining various sources related to Islamic finance and Sharia financial management. The findings indicate that the Islamic financial system prohibits practices such as riba (usury), gharar (excessive uncertainty), maysir (gambling), and israf (extravagance), as these contradict the principles of justice and public welfare. In practice, the integration of Sharia-compliant financial decisions is carried out through Islamic contracts, including mudharabah, musyarakah, murabahah, ijarah, salam, and istisna'. Beyond profit maximization, Islamic financial planning also seeks to enhance social welfare through trustworthy, transparent, and productive fund management. Therefore, the implementation of integrated Islamic financial planning is expected to establish a fair, sustainable, and ethically responsible business system that brings benefits and blessings to all stakeholders. Abstract

This study examines the Labuh Nyingkal tradition in the rice cultivation practices of the Osing community as a foundation for the development of an agrarian economy from the perspective of Maqāṣid al-Sharī'ah. As an indigenous agricultural tradition, Labuh Nyingkal embodies not only cultural and spiritual values but also economic principles rooted in social solidarity, environmental stewardship, and sustainable resource management. This research employs a qualitative ethnographic approach through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to explore the meanings and practices embedded within the tradition. The collected data were analyzed using a descriptive-interpretative method by relating empirical findings to the objectives of Maqāṣid al-Sharī'ah, including the protection of religion, life, intellect, lineage, wealth, and environmental sustainability as a contemporary extension of maqāṣid. The findings reveal that Labuh Nyingkal reinforces an agrarian economic ethic that promotes collective welfare through equitable resource distribution, ecological preservation, communal cooperation, and intergenerational responsibility. Therefore, this tradition represents a viable model for strengthening a sustainable agrarian economy grounded in local wisdom while remaining consistent with the normative objectives of Maqāṣid al-Sharī'ah.   Keywords : Labuh Nyingkal, Agrarian Economy, Maqāṣid al-Sharī'ah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the level of implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and disclosure of the Code of Ethics, as well as their relationship with trends in Third-Party Funds (TPF) growth at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) for the 2021–2025 period. Using a qualitative method with a content analysis approach, secondary data from BSI’s Annual Reports were analyzed using comparative descriptive techniques based on KNKG indicators (2021). The results indicate that BSI successfully maintained a solid level of GCG maturity at 94.29% from 2022 to 2025. Progressively, the Code of Ethics disclosure indicator experienced a sharp escalation, reaching absolute perfection (100%) consecutively in 2024 and 2025. This surge in transparency is directly proportional to the expansive growth trend of deposit growth, which hit a record high of 16.20% in 2025. In conclusion, the aggressive enforcement of governance and an ethical climate has proven to transform from mere regulatory compliance into a fundamental catalyst for the escalation of customer trust. Theoretically, this constellation of findings confirms Agency Theory in reducing information asymmetry, Legitimation Theory as a form of social validation of institutional integrity, and Whistleblowing Theory, which represents the maturity of the anti-fraud climate within the company.   Keywords : Good Corporate Governance, Code of Conduct, Third-Party Funds, Content Analysis, Bank Syariah Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze Bank Muamalat's strategy for increasing the sales of the Hijrah Gold Solution (SOLEH) Product, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its implementation. The study employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design to understand the experiences and marketing practices implemented by Bank Muamalat. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using a phenomenological analysis model involving data reduction, coding, theme development, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the marketing strategy is implemented through customer visits, open booths, product presentations, field visits, and the utilization of digital media integrated with a relationship marketing approach. Supporting factors include the growing public interest in Sharia-compliant gold investment, Bank Muamalat's reputation, the competence of its marketing personnel, and the ease of the financing process. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors consist of limited public literacy regarding Sharia gold investment, intense competition within the banking industry, fluctuations in gold prices, and limited promotional outreach. The study concludes that a marketing strategy integrating customer education, service excellence, and long-term customer relationships effectively enhances the sales performance of the Hijrah Gold Solution Product while strengthening Bank Muamalat's competitiveness in the Islamic banking industry.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Group 26252, UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, conducted a savings-product socialization program for Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Sawahan Village, Juwiring Subdistrict, Klaten Regency, attended by 37 participants consisting of micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) actors and members of the local women's community organization (PKK). This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic Financial Literacy (X1) and Religiosity (X2) on the Interest in Opening a BSI Savings Account (Y). The study employed a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique involving all 37 participants, with data analyzed through Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3. The results show that Islamic Financial Literacy and Religiosity jointly explain 54.9% of the variance in interest (R² = 0.549). At a 10% significance level, Islamic Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect on interest (T = 2.655; P = 0.008), as does Religiosity (T = 1.853; P = 0.064), with Islamic Financial Literacy being the more dominant factor. This finding is reinforced by qualitative data, in which 73% of participants stated that avoiding riba (interest-based transactions) was their main reason for interest. This study recommends continuous Islamic financial education and clearer product differentiation between BSI and the conventional banking services already used by the community. Keywords: Islamic Financial Literacy; Religiosity; Saving Interest; Bank Syariah Indonesia.
