Abstract

The development of multimedia design is influenced by various theories, such as visual aesthetic principles. Aesthetic principles are used to guide the design process and play a role in increasing the attractiveness of messages. However, along with advances in computer graphics, the application of graphic design aesthetics in multimedia learning has led to the concept of multimedia performance that is entertaining and aesthetically oriented. In addition, this technological development, together with multimedia technology, has expanded the professional scope of multimedia learning design beyond the field of education to include professions such as graphic design.

Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) to describe the needs analysis and challenges and (2) to produce a scaffolding draft model for teaching writing using a process approach combined with the Reflective Maternal Method (MMR). This research and development study applies the R2D2 model, which emphasizes user needs based on contextual conditions (teachers and students with disabilities) and is developed collaboratively. Based on the needs analysis conducted in the first year, a scaffolding draft model was produced using a process approach elaborated with the Reflective Maternal Method (MMR).
