The data analysis used to identify rice production trends in West Sumatra Province is descriptive analysis and to predict rice production in West Sumatra, the Least Square method and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) analysis are used to measure the level of accuracy of the forecast data. The results of the study show that throughout 2018-2024, rice production in West Sumatra Province showed a negative trend with an average decrease in production of 11,480.95 tons per year and it is predicted that in 2025-2029 rice production in West Sumatra Province will experience a decrease in production with an average decrease of 7,222.75 tons per year.

Abstract

This article explores the challenges urban communities face in preserving local identity amid the rapid currents of globalization. Globalization exerts significant influence through the erosion of traditional cultural values, the dominance of mass popular culture, and the weakening of local spiritual practices. Employing a qualitative approach and literature review, the study investigates various strategies that can help communities sustain their cultural roots. These include implementing culture-based education, strengthening local spiritual and religious communities, revitalizing cultural public spaces, and engaging the younger generation in cultural preservation efforts. The findings indicate that local identity can endure when communities engage in adaptive and sustainable cultural resistance. Rather than rejecting globalization outright, the article emphasizes the importance of a critical and creative response that integrates local values with global influences. In conclusion, this article presents several practical recommendations for maintaining Indonesia’s rich and diverse cultural identity in the face of increasingly globalized societal dynamics.

Abstract

The evolution of social media has given rise to new phenomena in the world of marketing, one of which is the emergence of the TikTok Shop platform, successfully capturing the attention of the public, especially the younger generation. Kanky shoes, as a local product, are trying to leverage this trend through digital marketing strategies such as the use of celebrity endorsement, strengthening brand image, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This research aims to determine the influence of Celebrity Endorsement (CE), Brand Image (BI), and Customer Satisfaction (CS) on the sales of Kanky shoes in the TikTok Shop marketplace. The study involved 87 respondents who are active TikTok Shop consumers. Data were analyzed using SPSS with normality tests, multiple linear regression, partial tests (t-test), and simultaneous tests (F-test). The results of the study indicate that all three independent variables have a significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on sales. This research provides both theoretical and practical contributions to understanding effective digital marketing strategies in the social media era.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at PT Kereta Api Logistik (KAI Logistik), a state-owned logistics enterprise in Indonesia, through the lens of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework. Using a qualitative observational method, the research documents how CSR initiatives are operationalized across social, economic, and environmental dimensions. The findings reveal that CSR activities ranging from employee training and literacy campaigns to sustainable logistics innovations and ecological restoration reflect a growing integration of sustainability principles into the firm’s organizational practices. Rather than being limited to compliance or image-building, CSR at KAI Logistik demonstrates alignment with national development goals and emerging public expectations around responsible state enterprise governance. This study contributes to the literature by providing contextualized insights into how TBL can be practically enacted in a public-sector logistics setting in an emerging economy. The paper also highlights the strategic potential of CSR as a vehicle for stakeholder engagement, institutional legitimacy, and sustainable development in state-owned enterprises.
