Abstract

Educational supervision plays a crucial role in improving the quality of instruction, particularly in science practicum activities aimed at developing students’ science process skills. This study aims to describe research trends on the implementation of educational supervision in science practicums to enhance science process skills. The method employed is descriptive-analytical by reviewing 1,000 documents indexed in Google Scholar from 2016 to 2025 using Publish or Perish and Dimensions AI. The results show a dynamic pattern of publication growth, with a significant increase from 2016 to 2020 followed by fluctuations in subsequent years. Most publications are journal articles, indicating strong peer-reviewed scholarly attention in this field. Bibliometric mapping identifies four dominant themes: learning quality, laboratory management, teacher professional development, and the strengthening of science process skills. These findings confirm that well-planned and collaborative educational supervision in science practicum activities contributes to improving both teacher competence and students’ scientific abilities. The implications suggest that the results of this study can serve as a reference for teachers, schools, and supervisors in designing supervision strategies that are more effective, relevant, and sustainable.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of experimental video media and curiosity on students’ conceptual understanding of mechanics. The rationale for this research stems from the persistently low level of students’ conceptual understanding in mechanics, which is largely attributed to conventional instructional practices and limited opportunities for direct experimental experience. Experimental video media are expected to facilitate the visualization and contextualization of abstract physics concepts, while curiosity functions as an intrinsic motivational factor that encourages active engagement in the learning process. This study employs a quasi-experimental approach with a 2 × 2 factorial design. The sample consists of two classes selected through purposive sampling, and the research instruments include a mechanics conceptual understanding test and a curiosity questionnaire. The findings are expected to demonstrate that both the use of experimental video media and students’ curiosity have a positive and significant effect on conceptual understanding of mechanics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal fisika berbasis konteks. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas XI SMAN 2 Bayan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan menyelesaikan soal fisika berbasis konteks yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 48,5 meningkat menjadi 78,2 pada posttest dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,57 (kategori sedang). Hasil uji paired t-test menunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 12,45 > ttabel 2,04 (α = 0,05), yang berarti terdapat peningkatan signifikan kemampuan siswa setelah penerapan PBL. Dengan demikian, penerapan model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, pemahaman konsep, serta motivasi belajar dalam pembelajaran fisika berbasis konteks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbantuan media PhET terhadap hasil belajar fisika peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experimental design dengan rancangan pretest- posttest control group. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Discovery Learning berbantuan media PhET secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Temuan ini didukung oleh analisis statistik yang menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 15,2 poin. Model ini juga terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi aktif peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media PhET dalam pembelajaran fisika dapat menjadi solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar di era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan e-modul terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan PBL berbantuan e-modul dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dengan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi pada kelompok eksperimen. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL berbantuan e-modul efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik.
