Abstract

A marketplace is an online buying and selling platform that facilitates consumers in conducting transactions without having to visit the store directly. This study aims to design and implement the "Danzu Store" marketplace information system from the user’s perspective, focusing on the sale of daily necessities. The system is intended to simplify users in searching for and purchasing retail products such as food, beverages, toiletries, and another household needs online. The system development methodology uses the waterfall approach with stages including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The technologies employed are PHP or Hypertext Preprocessor, as the programming language, MySQL as the database, and Bootstrap for the user interface. The main features of the system include product listings, shopping cart, payment methods, order history, and user login. The implementation results show that the system functions properly and provides ease of transaction for users.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Duolingo application in improving students' pronunciation skills, with a specific focus on voiced and voiceless consonants. A quantitative study design employing a pre-experimental approach was utilized, incorporating pre-tests and post-tests to measure differences in students' scores. The study involved 32 eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 12 Gorontalo. The students participated in four pronunciation training sessions using the Duolingo application, supplemented with in-class guidance. The collected data were analyzed using a paired t-test to determine the significance of differences between pre-test and post-test scores. The results indicate that the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected, signifying a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. These findings suggest that the Duolingo application significantly enhances students’ pronunciation skills, particularly in mastering voiced and voiceless consonants. Consequently, Duolingo proves to be an effective learning tool for improving students’ pronunciation proficiency.

Abstract

Indonesia’s accelerated digital transformation has generated a substantial demand for data analysts, yet a fine-grained understanding of sector-specific hiring trends and skill requirements remains limited. This study addresses that gap by conducting a data-driven job market analysis of 100 New Data Analyst postings collected from JobStreet Indonesia. Using quantitative content analysis and computational techniques, the research classified postings by business sector and extracted explicit skill requirements, encompassing both technical and soft competencies. The findings reveal that demand is most concentrated in e-commerce, finance, healthcare, and technology, with Jakarta emerging as the dominant employment hub. Technical skills such as SQL, Python, Excel, and visualization tools remain foundational across sectors, while sectoral variations highlight specialized needs, including risk modeling in finance and consumer analytics in e-commerce. Equally important, soft skills such as communication, problem-solving, and adaptability are consistently emphasized, underscoring the hybrid nature of the role. These results suggest that employers, job seekers, and educators must collaboratively align expectations, training programs, and recruitment practices to minimize skill mismatches. The study concludes by recommending competency-based curricula, industry-academia partnerships, and continuous upskilling strategies to ensure Indonesia’s workforce is adequately prepared to meet the evolving demands of the digital economy.

Abstract

This study examines Aqua’s brand image recovery strategy following the “bore well” crisis circulating on social media, which significantly influenced public perceptions of the company’s transparency and integrity. The issue triggered a high level of attributed responsibility, requiring the company to implement theoretically grounded crisis communication strategies. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Aqua’s recovery measures, including official clarifications, the disclosure of technical information regarding water sources, and the reinforcement of compliance with regulatory requirements. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through the analysis of documents, corporate statements, and public responses on social media. The findings indicate that Aqua adopted a rebuild strategy through corrective actions and enhanced transparency; however, the effectiveness remains limited due to gaps between corporate messaging and public expectations for independent verification. The analysis further reveals that brand image recovery in the digital era requires the integration of transparent information, external validation, and responsive two-way communication to restore trust. This study underscores that the success of brand image recovery depends on message consistency, accountability, and the company’s ability to adapt to rapidly evolving public discourse.

Abstract

This study examines Generation Z’s preferences toward Islamic fintech by analyzing their literacy levels, interest, perceptions of maqasid al-shariah, and trust and loyalty. The findings show that Islamic financial literacy is moderate (mean 3.12), indicating that Gen Z understands basic Sharia concepts but lacks deeper comprehension. Despite this, their interest in Islamic fintech is high (mean 4.21), driven by digital convenience and increasing religious awareness. Their perception of maqasid al-shariah implementation is also high (mean 3.85), reflecting positive views on transparency, fairness, and wealth protection within Islamic fintech services. Trust and loyalty score similarly high (mean 3.90), showing that security, platform reliability, and Sharia compliance play crucial roles in sustaining user engagement. Overall, the results highlight a gap between moderate literacy and high interest, emphasizing the need to strengthen education while maintaining service integrity. The study provides insights for industry players and regulators in enhancing Islamic digital finance.

Abstract

Technopreneurship-based creative businesses are increasingly popular among students, especially in the production of handmade clay necklaces. This study aims to analyze the production process, cost calculation, and quality evaluation of handmade clay necklaces, as well as to explore effective marketing strategies through digital platforms. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, collecting data through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the production process over a two-month period. The findings indicate that handmade clay necklaces produced using clay and a “paku cumi” hook result in aesthetically appealing products, flexible in design, and with sufficient structural strength. The application of acrylic paint followed by a resin or varnish coating enhances visual quality and durability, although careful attention is required during the coloring and drying process to prevent uneven finishes or cracks. Cost analysis demonstrates that efficient material and tool usage reduces production expenses, allowing competitive pricing without compromising product quality. Evaluation of the process highlights the importance of accuracy in shaping, painting, and assembling to minimize defects and ensure customer satisfaction. This study contributes to the development of students’ creativity, practical skills, and technopreneurship capabilities while providing insights into combining digital marketing strategies with handmade craft production. The findings can support students in managing small-scale creative businesses efficiently and improving product competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the aesthetic approach of painting in the development of key chain designs as creative craft products. The focus of the research lies in how aesthetic principles such as color, line, texture, balance, and visual harmony are implemented through hand-painting techniques to produce designs with high artistic value. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through observation of the design process, visual aesthetic analysis, and documentation of the work. The results show that the painting technique is able to provide a more expressive, detailed, and unique character to the key chain design compared to other decorative methods. The aesthetic approach applied makes the product not only function as an accessory, but also has a stronger artistic value and visual appeal. In addition, the choice of color, composition, and painting style has been proven to influence the user's aesthetic perception and increase the product's selling value. Thus, the application of the aesthetics of painting in key chain design is an effective strategy for producing creative products that are aesthetic, innovative, and competitive in the modern craft industry.

Abstract

This study aims to design and produce creative bracelets through capital planning, material selection, and design development. The methods used are literature study and design and planning based on the analysis of capital needs, materials, and product design. The results indicate that with proper capital planning, appropriate material selection, and attractive product design, bracelet production can be carried out efficiently and has the potential to be developed as a micro/small-scale business. This study is expected to serve as an initial reference for bracelet craftsmen in planning production systematically.

Abstract

The digital era drives significant changes in entrepreneurship and creates a need for innovation that aligns with technological developments. This study discusses the importance of creativity and innovation for students in creating new business opportunities, while also examining the development of pin accessories widely used by young people. Conventional pins still use safety pins, which limits their use to fabric-based materials and risks damaging the surface. This condition forms the basis for developing the Magnet Pin Custom, a pin with two installation functions through a combination of a safety pin and a magnet. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method through observation, interviews, and user needs analysis. The results show that the Magnet Pin Custom provides flexible use on various metal surfaces without causing damage, offers customizable designs, and has potential as a creative product with economic value. This project benefits students by enhancing creativity, design skills, and technopreneurship abilities through production processes, digital marketing, and brand development.
