Abstract

Every world of business and world of work (WBWW) needs human resources who can master and learn science and technology, which are continuously transforming. Civil engineering jobs include designing, constructing, maintaining, and repairing buildings. Auto Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD) technology software is very useful for civil engineering work when designing buildings. All WBWW in the field of civil engineering uses AutoCAD software when designing engineering, so human resources working in this field must be able to master AutoCAD software. On this basis, graduates of civil engineering are required to be able to master and operate application programs in the field of engineering. In the field of construction, human resources who are proficient in using AutoCAD are much needed. The Faculty of Engineering (FT) at the University Muhammadiyah of Aceh (UNMUHA) implements the use of AutoCAD in its curriculum. AutoCAD is one of the tools that supports the skills and development of the Civil Buildings Drawing (CBD) II Course. AutoCAD is an application program used for drawing, designing drawings, and testing materials. This research is to assess the frequency of the levels of mastery, skill, motivation, and discipline of Civil Engineering Study Program students at FT UNMUHA. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, which is a sampling technique with the consideration that the respondents in this study were students of the Civil Engineering Study Program at FT UNMUHA who were active in the Even Semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year and who programmed CBD II Course in their Study Plan Card (SPC), totaling 74 respondents. Abstract

North Aceh Regency is the region with the highest number of cases of child violence in Aceh Province. Of course, there are many factors behind it, one of which is the existence of a family that has not functioned optimally. This study examines how efforts to revitalize the functioning of family institutions to prevent violence against children. The research, which took place in North Aceh Regency, used a qualitative approach with observational data collection techniques, in-depth interviews, and document studies. Key informants in the study were stakeholders in the North Aceh Social Service, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and the general public. The data was analyzed using an interactive analysis model, namely: data reduction, data display, and conclusion affirmation. The results of the study found that the forms and types of violence against children that occurred in families in North Aceh were: a) physical violence; b) neglect; c) psychic violence; and 4) sexual violence. It's caused by factors of parental background and education level, family economic factors, and parental divorce. One form of social intervention that can be carried out to minimize cases of violence in the family is to restore the function of the family as the first madrasa and a shield of protection for the child. Therefore, the socialization of family functions should be improved with the main targets being families of young couples and families with a low level of education.

Abstract

As micro, small and medium entity (EMKM) business actors, we should be proud, because EMKM in Indonesia contributes to economic growth with an achievement of 60%. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic like now. EMKM can be one of the hopes for reducing the number of unemployed in Indonesia, as well as opening up new job opportunities. The first important role of EMKM is as a means of alleviating small communities from poverty. The main reason is the high rate of employment by EMKM. EMKM also has a very important role in the economic distribution of society. In contrast to large companies, EMKM has locations in various places. High attention must be given to these EMKM actors as a manifestation of the government in supporting the economy of the common people. Moreover, EMKM is able to have a direct impact on people's lives in the lower sector to improve people's welfare. MSME development is one of the government's efforts to expand business opportunities for new entrepreneurs so that they are able to compete in services and trade. Higher education as a formal institution is expected to act as a source of learning and give full attention to EMKM as a form of partnership in developing science and technology. The role of tertiary institutions is not in providing capital but rather in fostering the ability of small industries so as to encourage the ability of small industries to access capital and business management. EMKM business development and training in this program will be carried out in one of the villages in Muara Satu District, precisely in Padang Sakti village, as one of Malikussaleh University's fostered villages. This activity is expected to increase the entrepreneurial spirit, train skills in managing a business and is expected to have a direct impact on the management of EMKM management to improve welfare in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of government pricing policies in determining the selling price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) on the income of oil palm farmers. The research was conducted on oil palm smallholders in East Aceh who were determined based on convenience sampling. There are 100 oil palm smallholder respondents appointed to represent all oil palm smallholders in East Aceh. Data was collected using a questionnaire by taking samples of oil palm farmers in 10 districts in East Aceh. The question items are formed based on the indicators of each variable. This study was tested using multiple linear regression. The results of the study prove that the price policy issued by the government in determining cooking oil has a negative effect on the income of oil palm farmers. Palm oil farmers hope that the government's role will be more equitable in formulating price policies, so that prices tend to be stable and based on developments in world CPO prices. At present the role of the government tends to be perceived by farmers as none exist, the purchase price of FFB is mostly determined by the PKS factories in accordance with the wishes of large capital owners. There needs to be strong sanctions given to palm oil mill owners (PKS) when they tend to prioritize processing their own plantation products during large harvests compared to buying produce from community-owned oil palm planters. The results of this study provide theoretical implications about the importance of the government's role in increasing the income of oil palm farmers. Palm oil farmers need to always be accompanied by the government with regulations that not only benefit farmers but can also increase the economic growth of a region in the long term.

Abstract

The transesterification process in synthesizing biodiesel utilizes basic catlalyst to enhance the reaction. This research investigated the use of red clam shell based basic heterogenous catalyst for biodiesel production from Ricinus communis L oil. The purpo21se of this research was to optimize the heterogenoeus catalyst synthesis and comprehend the synthesized catalyst characterization. Red clam shell powder was prepared through 750°C, 800°C and 850°C calcination temperatures for 4 hours. The synthesized heterogeneous catalysts were characterized through SEM, XRD and FTIR in order to comprehend the morphology, its content and the present functional groups existed. It was founs out that the red clam shell ash had porous structure with its regularity increases with increasing calcinating temperature. Besides, according to XRD analysis the porous material with the highest amount of CaO presented was determined to be at 800°C calcination temprature to be 92.6% alongwith CaCO3 indicating the basic properties. Moreover, the functional groups presented on heterogeneous catalyst were observed to be CaO as the sharpest peak was at 3653.82 cm-1 and CaCO3 at 1452.40 cm-1, 1004.91 cm-1 and broad peak around 500 cm-1 with 800°C calcination temperature. Two percent of 800°C calcinated catalyst was utilized for transesterification with 1:8 oil to methanol ratio at 60°C reaction temperature. It was figured out that the synthesized biodiesel exhibited 4.587 x 10-3 Pas and 0.878 kgm-3 as its viscosity and density respectively. The use of red clam shell based catakyst for Ricinus communis L oil transesterification for biodiesel production was proven to be potential and demands further study on its application for transesterification reaction.

Abstract

This paper examines the application of qanuns regarding the maintenance and control of livestock in the village of Cot Seurani, Muara Batu District, North Aceh. Therefore, to understand the application of the qanun, this paper uses the perspective of legal effectiveness. The study of legal effectiveness carried out in this study basically follows Soerjono Soekanto's opinion in which according to him, the benchmark for the study of legal effectiveness boils down to 5 (five) factors, namely: the content of a law, law enforcement, facilities and infrastructure that support law enforcement, society and the culture of the society in which a law is enacted. The interweaving of these five factors becomes a measure of whether a law is effective or not. The research problem answered in this study is how effective the implementation of the qanun is. In this paper, the approach used is a qualitative approach with the socio-legal method. Research data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and literature review. The research results show that prior to implementation, the qanun had been disseminated to all village communities through announcements at meetings, banners attached to walls at several village road points, and also through social media groups. Since the enactment of the qanun, it has had a positive impact in accordance with its objectives. Every perpetrator who violates the qanun will be tried in a customary court. Sanctions given in the form of fines and compensation. The response of the village community to the qanun regarding the control of livestock was very good, because they also felt it was important that there were regulations regarding this matter.
