Abstract

The aim of this research is to: (1) identify bullying behavior occurring in Grade IV at SD Negeri 106796, (2) analyze the factors contributing to bullying behavior, (3) examine the impact of bullying, and (4) explore teachers' contributions in implementing an anti-bullying program at SD Negeri 106796. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method. The data sources include the school principal, homeroom teacher, students as victims, and students as perpetrators. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teachers play a crucial role in addressing bullying behavior among Grade IV students by implementing an anti-bullying program. This program involves developing a system to prevent and handle bullying cases, stopping violent acts at school, conducting training on positive discipline methods for teachers, providing anti-bullying counseling, and fostering a child-friendly school environment. Additionally, teachers implement disciplinary measures such as punishments and rewards, form study groups, offer guidance and reinforcement to students, and establish information services related to bullying prevention.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the concept of cooperation by analyzing the dialogue among characters in the Wild Robot movie. Since words, phrases, and sentences would be utilized to explain the data, a descriptive qualitative method was employed for analysis. The quantitative approach yields descriptive data, specifically in the form of phrases or words that succinctly explain the findings of the conducted research. The data consists of conversational fragments that obey cooperative principle's maxim. The source of data is derived from the dialogue of the characters in the film About Time. The researcher employed non-participatory note-taking techniques and the observational approach to get the data. The outcomes of the analysis of the cooperative principle performed by the characters in the movie is described in this study using a qualitative methodology. To analyze the data, the pragmatic identity technique was utilized. The results demonstrated that the dialogue in the film About Time contained all four of the cooperation principle's maxim. The investigator discovered 19 maxims.  According to the results, there were 2 (11%) data maxim of manner, 5 (26%) data maxims of quality, 7 (37%) data maxims of relation, and 5 (26%) data maxims of quantity. In conclusion, the maxim of the maxim of relation included the most data. The maxim of manner had the least amount of data.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse and connect the role of education within social stratification and its structure, particularly focusing on the educational sector. Education is a fundamental necessity for the development of knowledge and preparation for the future. However, a significant issue arises among lower economic classes who struggle to afford education for their children due to financial constraints. In contrast, upper economic classes are more capable of enrolling their children in expensive or even international schools. This situation creates noticeable social disparities. Furthermore, in the job market, many companies tend to prioritize applicants with a university degree (S1) over those with only a high school diploma or less, such as elementary school graduates, who often find it difficult to secure employment. This inequality raises questions about whether educational attainment significantly influences one's future success. Does obtaining a higher degree guarantee a better quality of life compared to those who only complete junior or senior high school? The objective of this research is to analyze and link educational status with social stratification levels to determine whether expensive education guarantees a better future. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, which emphasizes interpreting and understanding social phenomena in depth, supported by literature review. The analysis follows an inductive approach to uncover emerging patterns and themes. The research is grounded in Max Weber's theory of social status within socio-economic groups.

Abstract

Indonesia has implemented an educational decentralization policy for over two decades, aiming to enhance educational quality through greater autonomy at the regional and school levels. However, the consistent implementation of the national curriculum across diverse regions remains a major challenge. This study explores the managerial dynamics behind curriculum implementation in the context of decentralization, focusing on how school leaders and local education authorities navigate shifting national policies and localized capacities. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with school principals, curriculum coordinators, and education officials across multiple provinces. The findings reveal that inconsistencies in curriculum implementation are largely influenced by disparities in managerial competencies, access to training, and support systems at the local level. While decentralization provides flexibility, it often leads to uneven interpretations and applications of curriculum guidelines. Moreover, frequent curriculum reforms at the national level create additional pressures on school management, particularly in schools located in rural or under-resourced areas. This study highlights the need for a more robust managerial support system within the decentralized framework. Strengthening leadership training, improving coordination between central and local authorities, and providing clearer implementation guidelines are critical to achieving curriculum consistency. The findings offer practical insights for policymakers and educational leaders in Indonesia and other developing countries grappling with similar decentralization challenges. A balanced approach to autonomy and standardization is essential to ensure that educational equity and quality are upheld across the nation.
