Abstract

This study examines the application of the role-playing method to improve children’s ethics in polite communication in Group B at TK Islam Terpadu Al-Banna. It can be said that the development of polite communication ethics among children in Group B at the school still requires attention. For example, some children enter the classroom without greeting, often shout in class, and sometimes mock their friends. Role-playing is a learning method that provides children with the opportunity to develop their imagination by acting out certain characters so that they can understand and internalize the traits of those characters or objects. The role-playing method used in this study was a script-writing role-play method. This research is a field research study employing a descriptive qualitative approach. The primary data source of this study was the teaching staff at TK Islam Terpadu Al-Banna, while the secondary data sources included documentation such as the school profile and photographs of the kindergarten.The results of the study indicate that the application of the role-playing method with script writing in improving children’s ethics of polite communication in Group B at TK Islam Terpadu Al-Banna has developed well. The use of the role-playing method with script writing helps and facilitates teachers in achieving learning objectives. The implementation of this method proved to be effective and was able to stimulate the development of children’s communication ethics more optimally. In addition, the learning process became more engaging for the children and created a more lively classroom atmosphere.

Abstract

This study examines how the Da'wah broadcasting strategy is carried out by Alhikmah Radio Streaming. This study aims to determine the strategy of broadcasting Alhikmah Radio Streaming Da'wah and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for Alhikmah Radio Streaming Da'wah broadcasting strategy. To find out the strategy of broadcasting Alhikmah Radio streaming, this study uses the theory of Fred R. David with three stages in the strategy process, namely strategy formulation, strategy implementation and strategy evaluation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation for data analysis techniques, researchers carry out data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this study reveal that the broadcasting strategy of Alhikmah Radio Streaming is to focus on making the younger generation the target of their Da'wah by creating an identity or branding, discussing interesting and quality topics or themes, Utilizing Instagram as a publication medium for Alhikmah Radio activities and then evaluating for an assessment of the results carried out so that can find out the shortcomings or successes of the process and the progress that has been achieved. Factor supporting the broadcasting strategy of Alhikmah Radio Streaming Da'wah are the development of radio with a wider range, sporting facilities, and broadcaster skills that are able to package broadcast content properly. The inhibiting factor in the Alhikmah Radio Streaming Da'wah broadcasting strategy is the many options for listening to Da'wah broadcasts on other radios and other media, human resources and financial resources.

Abstract

In such a modern era like now, many Muslims use social media as a means to preach, one of which is through film media, film is media communication which presents sound and images. much praise from the audience. This film provides an overview of gratitude and an unyielding attitude in living life regardless of the circumstances From the description above, the problem formulation is as follows: What is the meaning of gratitude in the film Cinta Tapi Diam on the Youtube channel Film Maker Muslim – FMM Studios episode 5 in an Islamic perspective? This study aims to find out the meaning of gratitude in the film Cinta Tapi Diam on the Youtube channel Film Maker Muslim – FMM Studios episode 5 in an Islamic perspective so that it can be an example that can be learned from. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques in the form of documentation. This research uses the Tzvetan Todorov narrative analysis method which consists of 3 stages, namely the initial stage which is the preliminary stage, where the middle stage where disturbance or conflict begins and the final stage is is the stage of solving the problem or the occurrence of a solution. The results of this study found that many scenes and dialogues contain the meaning of gratitude both directly and indirectly.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has changed the way religious messages are communicated and discussed in society. Social media, particularly YouTube, has become a platform that not only facilitates the dissemination of Islamic teachings but also encourages users to express their views through interactive discussions in the comment section. One example is Podcast Escape Episode 21 featuring Felix Siauw and Onadio Leonardo, which received various responses reflecting different religious perspectives. This study aims to identify and describe the typology of netizens' religious thought expressed in the podcast's comment section. A descriptive qualitative approach with a post-positivist paradigm was employed. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and qualitative content analysis of selected comments related to issues of radicalism, liberalism, and religious moderation. The findings indicate three dominant typologies of religious thought, namely textual-conservative, rational-liberal, and moderate (wasathiyah-digital). These typologies illustrate that digital platforms have become spaces where different religious understandings are expressed, debated, and negotiated by the public. The study concludes that strengthening digital literacy and promoting religious moderation are important to encourage constructive interaction and reduce the potential for polarization in digital religious discourse.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of strengthening students’ character through the integration of local cultural values in Islamic education. The aim of this research is to explore the integration of Siri’ na Pacce values in learning to develop noble character in line with Islamic teachings and local culture in South Sulawesi. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through literature study and field context analysis, with data collected from document review, interviews, and observations. The results show that Siri’ na Pacce values effectively enhance empathy, honesty, discipline, and social responsibility among students. The integration is carried out through Islamic education learning, teacher role modeling, and attitude-based evaluation through observation. In conclusion, local cultural values play a significant role in strengthening character education when integrated contextually into the learning process, supported by collaboration among schools, families, and the wider community.

Abstract

This article examines the dynamics of Islamic education in Indonesia during the Japanese occupation (1942–1945), focusing on two policy roles that both restricted and created opportunities for institutions such as pesantren, Muhammadiyah, and Aisyiyah. Using a critical literature review method, this study identifies two main aspects: institutional restrictions that affected educational activities and opportunities that emerged in the recruitment of teaching staff, curriculum development, and the role of organizations. The results indicate that despite being under strict supervision, Islamic institutions were able to adapt and innovate, thereby contributing to the formation of Islamic educational identity in the post-independence era. These developments remain crucial for understanding current challenges in Islamic education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the organizational communication pattern of leaders and employees at Yayasan Rahmatan Lil-Alamin Jakarta Timur and their relationship in improving their performance at work. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The research location is at the Central Secretariat Office of Yayasan Rahmatan Lil-Alamin Jakarta Timur, and at Kantor Layanan Donasi Yayasan Rahmatan Lil-Alamin Jakarta Timur. The time of the research was carried out on August 25 - September 31, 2021. The informants in this study were the General Chairperson, the HR/HRD Division, and three employees at Yayasan Rahmatan Lil-Alamin Jakarta Timur. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Methods of data analysis using descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study conclude that the communication that occurs at Yayasan Rahmatan Lil-Alamin Jakarta Timur is a chain communication pattern that is carried out formally from top to bottom and bottom to top. In improving the performance of its employees, the committee of the foundation conducts evaluations, briefings, and motivations for employees as well as holding non-formal agendas such as family gatherings, camping, or joint sports. The obstacles that occur consist of miscommunication, namely errors in understanding the messages conveyed based on different mindsets, physical barriers such as network and communication disturbances, as well as structural and procedural barriers that require employees to submit inputs or complaints to third parties.
