Abstract

The development of an environmental monitoring system plays an important role in efforts to maintain environmental sustainability. Sensor technology has become a significant solution in improving the accuracy and effectiveness of environmental monitoring. In this literature review, we evaluate the role of sensor technology in the development of environmental monitoring systems through a comprehensive analysis of relevant literature. We highlight recent developments in sensor technology, its applications in environmental monitoring, and future challenges and opportunities. The results show that sensor technology has made a significant contribution to improving environmental monitoring capabilities, although there are still several challenges that need to be overcome. The implications of these findings for practice and research in the field of environmental monitoring are also discussed in depth.

Abstract

The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical diagnosis has become an increasingly important topic in modern medicine. This systematic literature review aims to evaluate progress, challenges, and opportunities in the application of AI in medical diagnosis. Through analysis of a number of relevant articles, we highlight the role of AI in improving accuracy, speed and efficiency in the diagnosis process. However, we also identified a number of challenges that need to be addressed, including technical, ethical and practical aspects. Nonetheless, the opportunities for further development in the application of AI in medical diagnosis are also enormous. By better understanding these advances, challenges, and opportunities, it is hoped that we can accelerate the adoption of AI in clinical practice and improve overall patient outcomes.

Abstract

Increased awareness of sustainability has driven the construction industry to seek innovation in more environmentally friendly construction materials. This article presents a systematic evaluation of the literature on innovation in sustainable construction materials, with a focus on materials and production methods. Through this approach, we explore current trends, challenges and opportunities in the development of sustainable construction materials. Literature analysis shows the existence of various promising sustainable construction materials, such as bamboo, environmentally friendly concrete, and recycled materials. Additionally, production methods are also an important focus, with the development of advanced technology and more efficient construction practices. These findings have important implications in guiding the future development of the construction industry towards sustainability.

Abstract

The integration of renewable energy sources into the electric grid presents a promising solution for sustainable energy production. However, optimizing the utilization of renewable energy within the grid poses significant challenges due to the inherent variability of these sources. This systematic review explores various models and technologies for optimizing renewable energy in the electric grid. Through comprehensive literature review and data analysis, diverse optimization approaches including mathematical optimization, machine learning, neural networks, and genetic algorithms were identified. Comparative analysis revealed the strengths, weaknesses, and applicability of these approaches in different contexts. Case studies highlighted the effectiveness of optimization strategies in improving grid performance. Discussions encompassed challenges such as model complexity, data accuracy, and regulatory constraints, while also identifying opportunities for technological innovation and policy support. This review contributes to a deeper understanding of renewable energy optimization and informs future research directions for enhancing grid sustainability.

Abstract

Urban transportation integration plays an important role in influencing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in developing and developed cities. This systematic literature review analyzes the impact of urban transport integration on GHG emissions by comparing the two types of cities. Through literature searches and analysis, the characteristics of developing and developed cities, the challenges of implementing urban transport integration, as well as solutions that can be implemented to overcome these challenges have been identified. The results show that urban transport integration has significant potential in reducing GHG emissions, especially through the promotion of sustainable transport and compact urban planning. The implications of this research highlight the importance of policies that support public transportation and sustainable infrastructure development to reduce GHG emissions and encourage environmentally friendly urban development.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of integrating sustainable transportation modes on greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution and environmental degradation in various geographic regions and levels of development. By systematically analyzing relevant literature, this research identifies the factors that influence the effectiveness of sustainable transport mode integration as well as the implications of these findings. Through a systematic literature review method, this research evaluates various studies that have been conducted previously to provide an in-depth understanding of how the integration of sustainable transportation modes can influence these environmental aspects. The analysis results show that the integration of sustainable transportation modes has a significant impact in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution, especially in urban areas and developed countries. However, significant challenges occur in rural areas and developing countries, where limited transport infrastructure and the habit of using private transport remain major obstacles. The implication of this research is the need for a contextually tailored approach in designing policies and strategies to promote the integration of sustainable transport modes, involving government, transport planning and the private sector.

This study presents a systematic literature review of innovations in the field of tribology and surface engineering, with a focus on the development of superhydrophobic coatings in mechanical engineering. The study background includes an understanding of the importance of tribology and surface engineering in improving material performance, while the research objective is to evaluate recent advances in the application of nanotechnology in the development of superhydrophobic coatings. The research method involves collecting articles from reputable international databases, with the use of relevant keywords to search for relevant articles. The results of the discussion include an understanding of the basic concepts of tribology, the application of nanotechnology in surface engineering, the characteristics of super hydrophobic coatings, and the application of nanotechnology in the development of superhydrophobic coatings. The implication of this research is that a deep understanding of tribology, surface engineering, and nanotechnology can help in developing more efficient and sustainable engineering solutions. Abstract

The construction industry is one of the largest contributors to global carbon emissions, and efforts to reduce the sector's environmental impact are increasingly urgent. This study aims to identify the perceptions and obstacles faced by stakeholders in adopting green building materials that focus on carbon reduction, using the approach systematic literature review. By analyzing 50 relevant recent studies from various geographic contexts, this research finds that perceptions of negative related costs, technical obstacles, and lack of managerial support are significant obstacles in the implementation of green materials. The implications of these findings provide policy and practice recommendations to encourage the adoption of environmentally friendly materials through financial incentives, outreach on the benefits of sustainability, and technical training in the construction industry.

Abstract

The development of Digital Twin (DTT) technology has revolutionized predictive maintenance (PdM) practices in the context of Industry 4.0. However, existing literature is still limited in comprehensively mapping the applications and strategic benefits of DTT. This research aims to fill this gap by exploring the application of DTT in PdM and its impact on operational efficiency. This study aims to identify and analyze the main applications and benefits of DTT in supporting PdM strategies in various industrial sectors. This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by collecting and analyzing 22 scientific articles from leading databases, using the PRISMA protocol to ensure validity and reliability. Research findings show that DTT is able to increase operational efficiency through real-time monitoring, failure prediction, and reduced maintenance costs. In addition, DTT also contributes to extending asset life and improving operational safety. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of theory and practice in industrial asset management, by emphasizing the importance of DTT adoption to increase the effectiveness of PdM in the digital era.
