Abstract

Land speculation is one of the economic activities that has the potential to cause significant land value inflation. This activity not only disrupts the balance of the land market but also has negative socio-economic impacts on society and development. In this context, the role of illegal actors becomes crucial as they often manipulate the land rights transfer process through illegal means, such as document forgery and illicit transactions, which contribute to artificial increases in land prices. This study employs a literature review. The analysis results indicate that land rights manipulation by illegal actors exacerbates inequality in land ownership and increases price instability in the land market. Therefore, strict policy interventions and effective oversight are necessary to prevent harmful speculative activities and protect the rights of communities to land.

Abstract

This study examines the role of economic law in adapting to globalisation and technological advancement through a literature review. Globalisation and the development of digital technology have brought about significant transformations in the dynamics of the global economy, requiring rapid, responsive, and innovative legal regulatory adaptation. Economic law functions as a normative framework that regulates trade, investment, consumer protection, and transaction security in the modern era. Through a literature review, this study identifies the main challenges faced by economic law, such as harmonisation of regulations between countries, personal data protection, regulation of the digital economy, and inclusiveness in economic development. This study also emphasises the importance of adaptive and harmonious legal reforms to maintain legal certainty, encourage innovation, and ensure social justice and sustainable economic development. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for policymakers and legal practitioners in formulating relevant and progressive economic law development strategies amid the tide of globalisation and technological revolution.

Abstract

This study discusses legal challenges and opportunities in the economy amid global integration and technological advances, with a focus on reviewing the regulatory framework. The dynamics of globalisation and digital technological innovation have brought significant changes to economic processes that require adaptive and responsive legal regulations. However, this study finds that legal uncertainty due to regulatory disparities between countries, weak law enforcement, and issues of cybersecurity and data protection are major challenges that hinder economic stability. On the other hand, technological advances provide opportunities to strengthen transparency, international collaboration, and the development of innovative technology-based regulations that can promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth. An in-depth literature review was used to explore these aspects as a basis for recommendations for updating an effective and equitable economic legal regulatory framework. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and stakeholders in managing economic legal regulation in today's digital and global era.

Abstract

This study examines the adjustment of Indonesia's national economic law in facing two major phenomena, namely international integration and digital transformation, through a literature review method. Economic globalisation requires regulatory harmonisation so that Indonesia can actively participate in international trade and investment without sacrificing national interests. Meanwhile, the rapid development of digital technology has changed the economic paradigm and created a need for regulations that are responsive to innovation and personal data protection. This literature review identifies the challenges, opportunities, and legal adjustment strategies that must be undertaken to maintain a balance between domestic interests and global demands, while creating an inclusive and sustainable digital economic ecosystem. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and academics in developing adaptive and progressive economic legal regulations.

Abstract

This study examines the cost aspects of asset depreciation and financial regulations that affect the financial management and reporting of entities. Using a literature review method, this study analyses the classification of depreciation costs, their impact on asset performance, and how financial regulations govern the management of these costs to comply with applicable accounting standards and fiscal policies. The results of the study indicate that effective cost management must be supported by compliance with financial regulations to ensure transparency, accountability, and asset sustainability. This study provides an important theoretical basis for policymakers and practitioners in designing efficient and regulatory-compliant asset management strategies.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between unemployment rates, economic incentives, and property crime through a literature review. High unemployment rates are often a major factor that drives individuals to commit property crimes in order to meet their economic needs. On the other hand, economic incentives such as social assistance, skills training programmes, and economic subsidies play an important role in reducing the motivation to commit crimes by providing legitimate alternatives for income. This study highlights that the effectiveness of economic incentives is greatly influenced by the quality of governance, fair distribution, and integration with other social policies. The study finds that combating property crime requires a multisectoral approach that synergises unemployment reduction, economic incentives, social strengthening, and improved education to create a safe and productive society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of unemployment and lack of legal income on the increase in property crime through a literature review method. Unemployment and lack of legal income are two economic and social factors that contribute significantly to individuals committing property crimes, such as theft, robbery, and embezzlement. The literature review shows that unemployment creates strong economic and social pressures, while the absence of legal income narrows opportunities to earn a legitimate income, thereby encouraging criminal acts as an alternative. This study concludes that reducing unemployment and increasing access to legal income through effective economic and social policies are essential to reducing property crime rates and improving community welfare.

Abstract

This study examines the economic dynamics of land mafia, focusing on speculation practices, market distortions, and relevant policy implications in the context of land management in Indonesia. Land mafia uses various modus operandi to illegally control and trade land, causing disproportionate increases in land prices and market failures in the form of monopolies and manipulation. This condition narrows public access to land ownership and exacerbates socio-economic inequality. The research method used was a literature review, which examined various literature, case reports, and existing policies to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the speculation and market distortion caused by the land mafia and to assess the effectiveness of the policies implemented. The results of the study emphasise the need for integrated and digitally-based land management reform, strengthened law enforcement, and community participation in land market supervision. A holistic and inclusive policy approach is urgently needed so that the land market can function fairly and support sustainable development. This study provides recommendations for policymakers to improve transparency, accountability, and effectiveness of land market regulation in order to suppress land mafia practices.

Abstract

The development of social media, particularly Instagram, has opened new opportunities for culinary promotion through Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) activities. Informal communication among users regarding culinary experiences is now often packaged in the form of review content and promotions by influencers. However, as influencer-driven promotions increase, issues arise regarding consumer perceptions, which begins to question the authenticity of reviews, as they are perceived to resemble commercial advertisements. This phenomenon impacts consumer trust and purchasing decisions, specifically in culinary enterprises like Mie Sahadja Depot located in Sigura -gura . Based on this, the study aims to analyze the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth on Instagram on purchasing decisions at Depot Mie Sahadja in Malang City, as well as how consumer perceptions influence purchasing decisions, and whether both variables simultaneously affect consumer purchasing decisions. The findings of this research reveal that both Electronic Word Of Mouth (e-WOM) and consumer perceptions individually exert a significant impact on purchasing decisions at Mie Sahadja Depot, Malang City. This finding aligns with previous research stating that e-WOM on social media, particularly Instagram, plays a role in shaping consumer purchasing interest by providing easily accessible information and reviews. Additionally, positive consumer perceptions of product quality, service, and price also serve as factors reinforcing purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, these two variables complement each other, where information from e-WOM reinforces consumer perceptions, ultimately driving them to make a purchase.

Abstract

The valuation and recognition of public infrastructure assets has become a critical issue in public sector accounting, particularly in the context of government financial transparency and accountability. Infrastructure assets such as roads, bridges, water networks, and other public facilities often possess unique characteristics that distinguish them from ordinary commercial assets, both in terms of their useful lives, maintenance costs, and contribution to public welfare. This study aims to examine the challenges in the valuation and recognition of public infrastructure assets using a literature review method. The review indicates that the main challenges arise from differences in accounting standards across countries, the limited valuation methods that adequately represent the economic and social value of infrastructure assets, and the difficulty in determining useful lives and replacement costs. Furthermore, the debate over whether infrastructure assets should be measured at historical cost or fair value is also a significant issue. This study emphasizes the need for a more adaptive, comprehensive, and public interest-oriented accounting approach to improve the reliability of government financial reports. Therefore, the results of this study can serve as a foundation for developing public sector accounting policies that are more responsive to the complexities of infrastructure management.
