Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of the interpretation of the Qur'an as a socio-moral guide for Generation Z in the digital era. Generation Z, who grew up in a dynamic technological and social media environment, faces various moral and social challenges such as the spread of hoaxes, cyberbullying, and the tendency to pursue popularity that often conflicts with religious values. Through a qualitative approach with the library research method, this study identifies relevant interpretations of the Qur'an in addressing these problems. The results of the study indicate that the interpretation of the Qur'an that emphasizes communication ethics, information verification, social responsibility, and universal moral values is very relevant to answering the challenges faced by Generation Z in the digital era. The contextual interpretation approach is able to connect the teachings of the Qur'an with modern social realities, providing practical, applicable guidance for dealing with cyberspace. In addition, this study proposes the need to adjust the Islamic religious education curriculum to be more responsive to developments in technology and social media, so that it can form a more ethical, critical, and responsible Generation Z. This study concludes that the interpretation of the Qur'an not only functions as an explanation of religious texts, but also as a tool to form a solid moral character, strengthen Muslim identity, and help Generation Z face digital challenges wisely. These findings contribute to the development of religious education that is relevant to the needs of the times and becomes a guide for educators, parents, and education practitioners in guiding Generation Z.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of healthcare service quality by medical teams in addressing human rights violations in Palestine, particularly focusing on the challenges faced by healthcare professionals in conflict zones. As an occupied territory with ongoing conflicts, Palestine’s healthcare system is severely strained, impacting the quality of services provided to the population. The paper examines the various factors influencing healthcare delivery, including the political and security environment, as well as the role of international humanitarian organizations in providing support. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, this study highlights the intersection between healthcare delivery and human rights, particularly in conflict zones, and the ethical challenges medical teams face when operating in areas of intense military and civil strife. The results demonstrate that while healthcare teams strive to maintain high standards of care under challenging circumstances, systemic issues such as limited resources, restrictions on medical personnel, and attacks on medical facilities significantly hamper the effectiveness of healthcare delivery. The discussion emphasizes the importance of safeguarding medical neutrality and addressing human rights violations in such settings, suggesting policy recommendations to improve healthcare access and protect healthcare workers in Palestine.

Abstract

The glory of science in classical Islamic civilization, especially during the Abbasid Dynasty, marked the peak of intellectual development in the history of mankind. This dynasty, which ruled from 750 to 1258 AD, became a center of innovation and scientific advancement. Strong support from the Abbasid government, such as the establishment of the Baitul Hikmah educational institution in Baghdad, created a conducive environment for scientific research and development. In addition, an inclusive education system that included various disciplines, such as mathematics, astronomy, medicine, and philosophy, enriched the intellectual treasures of Islam and made a significant contribution to science in Europe during the Renaissance. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach to explore the experiences and perspectives of society during the Abbasid period. The results show that government support, the integration of Islamic values with science, and inclusive education policies play an important role in creating cross-disciplinary innovation. The works of Muslim scientists, such as Al- Khawarizmi, Ibn Sina, and Al-Farabi, not only advanced Islamic civilization but also influenced the development of science in the Western world. This study highlights the relevance of the Abbasid Dynasty educational model for the modern era, particularly in the development of educational policies that support the integration of ethical values, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and research-based innovation. By imitating the scientific spirit of the Abbasid Dynasty, modern society can create a more holistic and sustainable education system.

Abstract

Speaking proficiency is a critical component of English as a Second Language (ESL) learning, yet many students struggle with confidence and fluency due to limited speaking practice, fear of mistakes, and lack of real-life conversational exposure. Traditional teaching methods often emphasize grammar, reading, and writing over spoken communication, further hindering students’ ability to engage in spontaneous conversations. Role-playing has emerged as an effective communicative strategy that provides structured yet dynamic opportunities for students to develop their speaking skills in realistic contexts. This study reviews existing literature to examine the impact of role-playing on ESL learners' confidence, fluency, vocabulary retention, and engagement. The findings indicate that role-playing fosters a supportive learning environment, reduces speaking anxiety, enhances spontaneous speech, and improves vocabulary acquisition through contextual application. However, challenges such as classroom management and varying proficiency levels require structured guidance from teachers. This study highlights the pedagogical benefits of integrating role-playing into ESL instruction and calls for further research on its long-term effects in diverse learning contexts.
