Abstract

This study aims to analyze Hajj and Umrah marketing strategies from the perspective of Sharia marketing. The increasingly competitive Hajj and Umrah travel industry requires travel agencies to implement marketing strategies that are effective, professional, and aligned with Islamic values. This research employed a qualitative method using a library research approach through the analysis of various journals, books, and relevant scientific sources. The findings indicate that Sharia marketing strategies in the Hajj and Umrah business emphasize the values of honesty, trustworthiness, transparency, excellent service, and the utilization of digital media as promotional tools. The implementation of Sharia marketing is capable of increasing pilgrims’ trust, customer loyalty, and the positive image of Hajj and Umrah travel agencies. Furthermore, Sharia-based marketing strategies provide solutions for facing the challenges of modern business competition while maintaining Islamic ethical values.

Abstract

The development of digital marketing encourages business actors, including SMEs, to utilize various marketing strategies to retain customers and increase repeat purchases. This study aims to analyze the influence of Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, and Brand Image on Repurchase Intention (Study on customers of Comel Bucket SMEs in Denpasar). The method used is a quantitative approach with non-probability sampling technique through purposive sampling of 112 respondents who are customers of Comel Bucket SMEs. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis as well as multiple linier regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics software. The research results indicate that social media marketing, content marketing, and brand image have a positive and significant influence on repurchase intention. The theoretical implication of this research is to strengthen the development of theory in the field of marketing management, especially concerning social media marketing, content marketing, and brand image, which have a positive significant impact on shaping customer perceptions of repurchase intention, as well as reinforcing the Theory of Planned Behaviour in the digital marketing context. The practical implication is to provide input for Comel Bucket SMEs in designing marketing strategies focused on enhancing social media marketing, content marketing, and brand image to drive customer repurchase intention.

Abstract

Accounting plays an important role in the modern business world as an information system that provides accurate, relevant, and reliable financial data to support economic decision-making. This study aims to analyze the basic concepts of introductory accounting and its role in supporting business management in the modern era. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a literature research design (library research). Data were obtained through literature studies from various sources such as books, scientific journals, and relevant academic documents, and then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that introductory accounting includes basic concepts that serve as the foundation for financial recording and reporting processes, namely the economic entity concept, going concern concept, accounting period concept, monetary unit concept, and double-entry system. In addition, this study explains the stages of the accounting cycle, which include identifying transactions, recording in journals, posting to the general ledger, preparing a trial balance, and preparing financial statements. Introductory accounting also plays a role as a basis for decision-making, a financial control tool, a means of accountability, a support for business technology development, and an enhancer of corporate financial transparency.

Abstract

Changes in the governance of Hajj management through the establishment of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah represent part of the Indonesian government’s bureaucratic reform aimed at improving the quality of religious public services. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Hajj quota policy following the transfer of authority from the Ministry of Religious Affairs to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The research employs a library research method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained through literature studies, including scientific journals, regulations, government documents, and academic articles related to Hajj management in Indonesia. The findings indicate that institutional reform has brought positive impacts, such as improved service professionalism, greater transparency in quota distribution, digitalization of administrative systems, and strengthened bureaucratic coordination. However, the implementation of the policy still faces various challenges, including quota limitations set by the Government of Saudi Arabia, bureaucratic transition issues, weak oversight mechanisms, and the potential for abuse of authority in quota distribution. The study concludes that institutional reform is a strategic step in improving Hajj governance; however, its success largely depends on effective supervision, digital system integration, and consistent application of good governance principles.

Abstract

The increasing number of elderly Hajj pilgrims in Indonesia requires more professional and humane services in the implementation of special Hajj services. This study aims to analyze human resource (HR) development strategies in improving services for elderly pilgrims at the Special Hajj Organizers (PIHK). The research method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from books, scientific journals, government regulations, and previous studies relevant to HR development and elderly pilgrim services. The results of the study indicate that HR development strategies are carried out through elderly-friendly service training, improvement of officers’ technical and emotional competencies, performance evaluation, strengthening interpersonal communication, and utilization of information technology in pilgrim services. Sustainable HR development is able to improve service quality, comfort, safety, and satisfaction of elderly pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage. Therefore, PIHK needs to optimize HR development so that services for elderly pilgrims can run effectively, professionally, and in accordance with pilgrims’ needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of the Islamic economy in Indonesia and its contribution to the stability of the national financial system. The method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach through literature reviews from scientific journals, reports published by Bank Indonesia (BI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and other related academic publications. The results of the study indicate that the Islamic economy in Indonesia has experienced significant growth, marked by the increase in Islamic banking assets, the development of sukuk, and the improvement of Islamic financial literacy. In addition, the Islamic economy contributes to financial system stability through its interest-free principles, real-sector-based transactions, and profit-and-loss sharing system, which is considered more moderate toward financial risks. Therefore, the Islamic economy plays an important role in supporting the stability of the national financial system amid global economic dynamics.

Abstract

This study analyzes the development and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in architectural practice, its implications for business model transformation and work systems, and adaptive management strategies relevant to architectural firms in Indonesia. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the PRISMA protocol. Articles were retrieved from Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, and ScienceDirect using Boolean combinations of keywords related to AI, architecture, AEC industry, BIM, generative design, digital twin, business model, and digital transformation. The review focuses on peer-reviewed publications from 2021 to 2025. From an initial pool of 456 articles, 20 articles were selected through a rigorous multi-stage screening process for in-depth analysis. The findings indicate that AI is increasingly integrated into architectural design through generative design, building performance optimization, and data-driven decision support systems. In project management, AI is closely connected with BIM, digital twin, 4D simulation, IoT, and predictive analytics. A critical synthesis of the literature reveals consensus on AI's capacity to improve efficiency and transform professional roles, alongside notable contradictions regarding the threat versus empowerment of architects and the feasibility of AI adoption in resource-limited contexts. These developments encourage architectural firms to shift from conventional design services toward data-driven, performance-based, and technology-enabled services such as building performance simulation, lifecycle cost analysis, and smart facility management. However, implementation in Indonesia remains constrained by uneven digital capability among human resources, limited infrastructure, fragmented project data, investment barriers, and the absence of comprehensive implementation guidelines. Therefore, adaptive management strategies are required, encompassing digital upskilling, phased technology integration, collaborative ecosystems, value-based innovation, and ethical governance of AI use.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes in the business world, including within the culinary Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. Digital marketing has become an effective marketing strategy in helping MSMEs enhance their business competitiveness and reach a wider consumer base. This study aims to analyse digital marketing strategies among culinary MSMEs in the city of Samarinda. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilising data collection techniques such as observation, documentation, and literature review. The findings indicate that culinary MSMEs in Samarinda utilise social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp Business as digital promotional tools. Marketing strategies are implemented through content marketing, online promotions, the use of attractive product visuals, and active interaction with consumers. The use of digital marketing is considered capable of increasing brand awareness, expanding marketing reach, and boosting consumer interest in culinary products. Abstract

Tourism has a role that pivotal function in driving regional economic growth, particularly in Bali Province, which heavily relies on this sector as its primary source of income. Current research examines the effect of international also domestic tourist arrivals on the Regional Original Revenue (Pendapatan Asli Daerah/PAD) of Bali Province over the period 2004-2022. Using a quantitative approach with secondary data from the Bali Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS), current research employs multiple linear regression observation to assess the influence of tourist arrivals on four PAD components: regional taxes, regional levies (retribusi), state-owned enterprise (BUMD) revenue, and other legitimate regional income. Results indicate that domestic tourist arrivals consistently exert a positive then significant effect across all PAD components, while international tourist arrivals exhibit a negative coefficient for most components, reflecting a tendency to use international-brand facilities and digital booking platforms whose revenues are not fully captured in the regional tax system. Simultaneously, both tourist variables significantly influence PAD. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening local tourism governance, optimizing the levy system, and developing strategic policies to maximize the fiscal contribution of international tourists to regional revenue.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of unemployment and poverty on crime in Mimika Regency. This is an associative study employing data collection techniques such as documentation and literature review. The data analysis tool used in this study is the Granger causality test, which is used to examine the causal or reciprocal relationship between the two research variables so that it can be determined whether the two variables statistically influence each other (a two-way or reciprocal relationship), have a unidirectional relationship, or have no relationship at all (do not influence each other). The results of the analysis indicate that unemployment and poverty do not have a causal relationship with crime. Based on the research findings, an increase in unemployment and poverty does not affect crime itself, and vice versa.
