Abstract

Bandwidth management for clients connected to the internet network is needed in the upload and download process. In this study used additional devices in the form of a mikrotik router and research sites at the Faculty of Engineering UNISKA, Kediri. The study discusses Quality of Service (QoS) with 4 indicators, namely throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. The results showed that the speedtest application bandwidth did not exceed the specified limit. And in the wireshark application, it is shown that the calculation of QoS throughput for each user is not more than 100 Kbps, then the standard parameters according to TIPHON are categorized as "BAD" with an index of "0". In the QoS packet loss, each user gets a value of 0, then the standard parameters according to TIPHON are categorized as "PERFECT" with the index "4". In the QoS delay, each user gets a value less than 100 s, then the standard parameters according to TIPHON are categorized as "PERFECT" with the index "4". And on the QoS jitter of each user, the value is below the number 1, then the standard parameters according to TIPHON are categorized as "GOOD" with an index of "3".

Abstract

SSCC (Submerged Scraper Chain Conveyor) is one of the parts that affect the combustion process in the Unit 50 PLTU Paiton boiler which can generate electricity up to around 650 MW. SSCC is used to accommodate combustion materials in the form of deposits from inside the boiler. SSCC is also used as a seal for the furnace and prevents air from entering during draft system in service, by keeping the water level in the SSCC at a certain set point value. Even the SSCC stops operating at full load, the unit will potentially debating. This aims to reduce fuel consumption so that the material from the combustion is not too much. The increase in the volume of bottom ash material can cause several problems such as SSCC trips due to overload and loose chain from the pulley. The local operator checks the condition of the bottom ash material on the SSCC scraper at a certain time manually and reports it to the CCR operator. This will affect the reliability of the SSCC's performance on the boiler. This research approach is qualitative, because this research is descriptive and tends to use data analysis. The theoretical basis is used as a guide so that the author can focus on analyzing the data according to the facts in the field. From the results of data analysis applied in the field, it shows that the use of a protection system is the first step in dealing with an incident in the field and to secure other equipment. Based on the work system implemented in the field, namely the SSCC system which was previously operated manually, then changed to auto / easier to operate, it proves that it will create an effective and efficient work system during the unit's operation, thus facilitating the work of operators in the field, as well as improving the quality of equipment which is local. In addition, the development of proposals / ideas that can build a better work system is very much needed in the PLTU generating unit

Abstract

Salah satu sarana penunjang pendidikan adalah beasiswa. Dengan adanya beasiswa,Diharapkan dapat membantu meringankan beban orang tua dalam pembiayaan sekolah khususnya yang kurang mampu. Pemanfaatan dana Bantuan Khusus Siswa Miskin (BKSM) secara efektif akan mampu meringankan biaya pendidikan bagi siswa yang berasal dari keluarga kurang atau tidak mampu, sehingga mereka bisa diberikan termotivasi dalam belajar dan pada akhirnya adalah tercapainya prestasi belajar yang diharapkan. SMK Roudlotun Nasyiin Mojokerto termasuk salah satu sekolah yang sudah memanfaatkan komputer untuk penyelesaian berbagai macam tugas, akan tetapi pemanfaatannya terbilang belum maksimal. Bagian Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah (TAS) masih menggunakan metode manual, yaitu pada seleksi bantuan khusus siswa miskin (BKSM). Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini akan dibuat sebuah aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan seleksi BKSM. Dengan adanya sistem pendukung keputusan tersebut, akan memudahkan pengurus dalam menentukan kelayakan penerima BKSM berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Abstract

Inverters are used to convert direct current or DC (Direct Current) sources into alternating current sources or AC (Alternating Current). A method is needed to make the output waveform close to a sinusoidal waveform. The Multi Level Inverter (MLI) method has a large number of levels and is closer to a sinusoidal wave. The three-phase MLI design with a separate symmetrical input source in this study is able to produce a three-phase output wave, where the resulting Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) value is smaller, namely 5.65% when using the Modified PWM method where the carrier signal has no frequency

Abstract

This development research aims to find out the results of the development of the android-based Inventor 2023 e-module as mobile learning for the Mechanical Engineering Subject at the Vocational High School level. The development of the production model used is the development of the Dick and Carey model. The results of the validity test data were obtained for R.Count all of the 15 items of questionnaire statement items on all variables in this study yielded values for R.Count > R.Table where the R.Table value was 0.361, so the indicators in these variables can be called valid. For reliability testing, it has a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient that is greater than 0.70 which is equal to 0.818 so that the variables from the questionnaire are reliable. The results of the trial data obtained for content experts were 90.33%, media experts were 84.44%, design experts were 91.61%, peer trials were 90.21%, small group trials were 91.73%, medium group trials of 92.13%, and large/field group trials of 90.04%. With these data, the Inventor 2023 e-module that has been developed falls into very good criteria and is very suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

The use of masks is still very strict in public places, especially in hospitals, this is solely done to prevent the spread of the corona virus again. The purpose of this research is to assist examination workers or health protocol workers in supervising the use of masks in public places. Mask detection is a solution to this problem, by utilizing computer vision technology and applying supervised learning algorithms. For this mask detection classification method, this system uses the Naive Bayes method. The output of this mask detection system is planned to distinguish people wearing masks and not wearing masks, by giving red labels to people who are not wearing masks and green labeling to people wearing masks. The distance aspect is used in testing this mask detection system, the system is able to work well by getting an error rate presentation below 2% and getting the highest accuracy of 100% with an average percentage value of 98%. On the other hand, there are still weaknesses in this system, the use of brown masks that are in harmony with skin color can worsen the results of the classification system

Abstract

Voltage Monitoring, current and power on the panel is a must, because with this monitoring can see the magnitude of the voltage, current, cos phi and power on the load. One of these monitoring is to find out whether the quality of electricity, such as drop voltage, low cos phi. In this era of technology, monitoring can be viewed using mobile, so users don't need to come to the panel and see the measurement results, user just look at the smartphone device. In this research, researcher will make a tool that can monitoring electrical measurements in 3 phase panel using mobile on a microcontroller. Data will processed from the current transformer at 3 phase panel by the ESP8266 microcontroller to converted into three-phase voltage, current and power figures. The ESP8266 microcontroller which is equipped with wifi can be used for remote monitoring. An android smartphone with a telegram software application will function as communication via wifi with the ESP8266 microcontroller, so that all measurement data can also be monitored on the smartphone. This shows that the tool can function very well.

Abstract

The development of renewable energy in Indonesia has grown quite rapidly, one of which is PLTS. With this new power plant, it is hoped that the excessive use of fossil fuels will be reduced. in 2021 there a new PLTS operating in one of the universities, i.e at the Malang National Institute of Technology with a capacity of 0.5 MWp. The PLTS works on-grid into the Singosari distribution system through the Karangploso feeder so that the addition of a new generator of 0.5 MWp can cause changes in the voltage profile. the voltage profile itself is the voltage condition to be at the nominal voltage either when there is a change in load conditions or when power losses occur in the line with a standard allowable voltage profile of 0.95>V> 1.05 pu. The study used in this research is a power flow study with the Newton-Raphson method. This method is used to calculate the voltage profile on each bus of the power system either during the base case condition or when the system is integrated with PLTS 0.5 MWp. so that with the addition of a new power plant with a capacity of 0.5 MWp, it is necessary to evaluate the addition of a new generator with a capacity of 0.5 MWp to the voltage profile in the Singosari distribution system through the Karangploso feeder.

Abstract

Fires are very detrimental, ranging from loss of property to even loss of life. Fires can be detected when the fire has grown or smoke has billowed out of buildings. Urban areas have densely populated housing so that it has the potential to cause problems in the event of a fire. These fires can be caused by by factors of human negligence and natural factors. Such as the occurrence of short-circuited electricity, negligence in cooking, negligence in burning garbage, and others. Therefore, we need a tool that can detect the presence of an early source of fire so that it does not spread. The problem that often occurs is when a fire occurs, the fire department often arrives late, so there are many losses due to the fire. And the losses can be material and economic. Therefore we need a system that works to control the fire automatically and to extinguish the fire in every house. This study aims to design and build an efficient and affordable prototype. Which later can be applied to housing or warehouses. This prototype is designed using NodeMCU ESP8266 as the main controller, Flame sensor can respond to infrared light beams on the modulation spectrum from 5 to 30 cycles per second, Web Thinger.Io as a server, data storage on the internet of things , and notification of fire in the Blynk application. This system uses a flame sensor based on the Node MCU ESP8266 microcontroller and is equipped with a Buzzer for Alarm and a Mini Water Pump to automatically spray water if a fire is detected. This system utilizes the Blynk Application as an interface to provide notification information about a fire to find out notifications if a fire is detected. And if a fire is detected, it will automatically get a notification from the Blynk application on the "There is Fire" Smartphone and the buzzer will automatically sound and the mini water pump will automatically spray water. In this study, the tool can automatically send Safe and Fire notifications using the blynk application on a smartphone with a delay of < 3 seconds.
