Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: (1) describe the role of Subdistrict Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) in The Handling of the Elderly in The Sangkarrang Islands District and (2) describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the role of District Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) towards the Handling of the Elderly in the Sangkarrang Islands District. This research is qualitative research. The results of the research obtained include: (1) The role of TKSK in the Sangkarrang Islands District, Makassar City in handling the Elderly is quite good, namely the role of TKSK as a coordinator, namely coordinating local governments such as Lurah and community leaders in providing social assistance to the elderly. The role of TKSK in motivating is to always provide assistance to people with social welfare problems such as the elderly when given assistance by the Makassar City Social Service office and the province of South Sulawesi, where TKSK always accompanies the elderly both when coaching and after coaching, The role of TKSK as an administrator is to verify first. convey to the beneficiaries to divide the social assistance according to the data obtained by the Social Service. (2) Supporting factors for the role of TKSK in the Sangkarrang Islands District, Makassar City, namely that there are institutions that play a role in supporting the role of Subdistrict Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) in the Sangkarrang Islands District, Makassar City such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Karang Taruna and the Village Community Resilience Institute (LKMD). Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is that the number of officers is still very minimal so many work or work programs from TKSK are not carried out optimally.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is how the role of parents in overcoming moral degradation in adolescents in Bangkalaloe Village, Bontoramba District, Jeneponto Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type located in Bangkalaloe Village, Bontoramba District, Jeneponto Regency. The research approach used is a guidance approach and a psychological approach. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was obtained by researchers through interviews, questionnaires, and so on. The results of this study indicate that the steps taken by parents in overcoming moral degradation in adolescents in Bangkalaloe Village, Bontoramba District, Jeneponto Regency are providing supervision, instilling etiquette values, ​​and providing religious education. The obstacles faced by parents in overcoming moral degradation in adolescents in Bangkalaloe Village, Bontoramba District, Jeneponto Regency are the influence of gadgets, and the environment (friendship). The implications of this study are 1) Parents should pay more attention to their children's habits and playing environment so that there is no moral degradation in adolescents. 2) Parents are expected not to spoil their children by giving gadgets too early and to set a good example and care more about their children so that they avoid unwanted things.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of pluralism message signs in the documentary film "Beta Mau Meet" and to find out the meaning of pluralism messages in the documentary film "Beta Mau Jumpat". This type of research is descriptive qualitative using John Fiske's semiotic analysis method with three stages of level analysis, namely reality, representation and ideology. The results of the study indicate that there are seven sign scenes that support pluralism in the Beta Mau Jumpa documentary. These seven scenes show the struggle of young people and the women's movement against segregation or class separation that occurred in Ambon, although the armed clashes have ended, the hate narrative is still ongoing and can affect the next generation. the meaning of pluralism in this film refers to maintaining the balance of the principles of humanism, recognizing and respecting the existence of other religions, and freedom of religion. From this, the researcher concludes that understanding differences accompanied by knowledge and understanding in society will create a harmonious relationship.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Wahdah Islamiyah's da'wah strategy in reducing al-Qur'an illiteracy in the Hayat Kamal study group, Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency, with sub-problems obtained as follows: 1) what are Wahdah Islamiyah's strategic steps in gathering participants for the Hayat Kamal study in Somba District, Gowa Regency? 2) How is Wahdah Islamiyah's da'wah method in teaching the Qur'an to Hayat Kamal recitation participants in Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency? 3) what are the obstacles faced in the process of learning the Qur'an? The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The approach used is the da'wah management approach and the sociological approach with data collection methods through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through several stages, namely: data condensation, data presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Wahdah Islamiyah's da'wah strategy in gathering Hayat Kamal recitation participants went through several stages, namely: making a personal approach to the community, approaching the board and members of the taklim assembly, listing participants who wanted to join the recitation group, then determining the schedule for the initial meeting. . The da'wah methods used in the implementation of learning are: 1) Dirosa, 2) Tarbiyah, 3) Rihlah, namely natural tadabbur activities and 4) Joint Day.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how to handle the behavior of Open BO (Booking Online) in the Technical Implementation Unit for Women and Children Protection (UPT PPA) Makassar City? Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) Makassar City in dealing with Open BO (Booking Online) behavior; 2) To find out the obstacles of the Technical Implementation Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) of Makassar City in dealing with Open BO (Booking Online) behavior. This research is a qualitative research with a sociological approach method located in the Technical Implementation Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) Makassar City. The data sources in this study are based on primary data sources and secondary data sources. The method of data collection is by observation, interviews, and documentation. The instruments in this study were interview guides, cameras, voice recorders, and stationery. After all the data was collected, the researcher conducted data analysis with data reduction, data presentation, comparative analysis techniques, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that, the form of handling the Technical Implementation Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) of Makassar City in dealing with Open BO (Booking Online) behavior, namely: a) conducting an assessment (assessment); b) provide assistance to victims; c) perform the best service in accordance with the office soup and subsequently fostered in a safe house (shelter); and d) carry out religious training in a safe house (shelter). Obstacles to the Technical Implementation Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) of Makassar City in dealing with Open BO (Booking Online) behavior, namely: a) current regulations such as the Law on the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (PTPPO) are not effectively used; b) it is difficult to find open BO networks (pimps); c) there is no cooperation and is not recognized by his family; and d) there is no ongoing control or subsequent supervision. Abstract

The main problem in this project is the empowerment of coastal communities of seaweed farmers in Manyampa Village, Ujung Loe District, Bulukumba Regency. The main problem is described in several sub-problems, namely; 1) How are the efforts of the coastal communities of seaweed farmers in improving their lives? 2) What are the government’s efforts to support the welfare of seaweed farmers in Manyampa Village, Ujung Loe District, Bulukumba Regency? This type of research is included in qualitative research using the approach method, namely the sociological approach. Furthermore, the data sources are primary data and secondary data. Then the data methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through three stages data reduction, data presentation (data display), and drawing conclusions. The results showed that one of the impacts felts by seaweed farmers cultivating seaweed was that the coastal community’s economy itself increased and was able to cover the daily needs of the coastal community of seaweed farmers. Elementary school to a higher level up to college. The role of the government in cultivating seaweed is felt by seaweed farmers themselves. The government acts as a) Capital Assistance b) Opening job opportunities c) Coordinator d) Facilitator and e) Motivator. The implication of this research is the author hopes for seaweed farmers to learn more and understand better seaweed farming methods so that the quality of seaweed will increase, as well as for the seaweed buyers to better determine the price of seaweed itself and be more evenly distributed. Purchase of the seaweed. For the government to improve the facilities and infrastructure needed by seaweed farmers in cultivating seaweed, it is also expected to always educate the public to maintain seaweed cultivation and teach the younger generation to continue cultivating and maintaining the quality of the seaweed.

Abstract

The dissemination of information in the South Radar Daily which focuses on the 2020 Bulukumba Pilkada news forms the mindset of the people and influences public opinion, therefore the researcher considers the reception of the Pilkada news to be investigated from the perspective of the Bulukumba people's interpretation so that it attracts researchers to raise it with the aim of this research. The purpose of this study was to find out the interpretation and decoding of several people who became informants so that they could get a reception from the people of Bulukumba on the news of the Pilkada in the South Radar Daily. This researcher uses a qualitative descriptive type of research by approaching the science of communication and collecting data from observations, interviews, and documentation. This study uses Stuart Hall's reception theory which is divided into three categories of interpretation, namely dominant hegemony, negotiation, and opposition. There were five informants in this study, namely the Bulukumba people who were then drawn from each profession such as the South Radar Daily Leader, Panwaslu, TPS Committee, Non-Governmental Organizations, and Community Leaders. The results of the research found by the researchers during their research in the field showed that some of the Bulukumba people who were informants had various receptions from the news of the Pilkada in the South Radar Daily according to the experience and knowledge of each resource person. of the five informants who have been interviewed, three sources namely Sunarti Sain, S.E, Al Ihwal, S.Pd, and A. Trisnawati are in the position of Dominant Hegemony or the position of receiving. One informant, namely Syahrul, is in a negotiating position, meaning that he is still comparing the content of the news presented by the South Radar Daily with other media and another informant, Kamaruddin, is in an opposition position, which is refusing to report the election in the South Radar Daily. dominantly made the South Radar Daily print media as the main reference for selecting the candidates for the Regent and Deputy Regent of Bulukumba in 2020. The implication of this research is that the South Radar Daily is expected to remain independent in presenting reliable actual news, especially on the Pilkada news so that the truth can be accounted for and the Bulukumba community is expected to be able to respond to the news that is published wisely so that it can have a good impact on its readers.

Abstract

The results showed that: 1. The application of the KUA da'wah strategy in changing the mindset of the community towards the applicable regulations at KUA by applying the da'wah method through wisdom, Mau'idzatil Hasanah, Mujdalam Billati Hiya Ahsan as a propaganda strategy for KUA Watang Sawitto. 2. Challenges and opportunities in implementing the KUA da'wah strategy in changing people's mindsets are a) The challenges faced in implementing the KUA da'wah strategy come from different (low) education levels and come from community traditions/habits. b) The opportunity that is obtained when implementing the da'wah strategy in changing the mindset of the community is the realization of a more Islamic society that upholds the spirit of Ukhuwah Islamiyah. The implication of the research is in the da'wah strategy of changing people's mindsets towards the regulations in force at the Office of Religious Affairs. Those who apply the da'wah method through oral, Bil Qalam and Bil Haal. This method has been implemented well although there are some advantages and disadvantages. By applying the da'wah method, the people's mindset will gradually understand more about Islam. In this case, the community should comply more with the regulations of the Office of Religious Affairs so that the community understands more about Islam and applies Islamic values in daily life, and leaves old habits/culture

Abstract

This study aims to understand the meaning of representation of women's bodies on the Instagram account of photographer @Darwisrtiadiartgallery with a study of Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis, using the media text analysis method with Roland Barthes' semiotic model technique. The data collection technique used is document analysis, obtained bycapturing 5 uploads contained in the feed @Darwistriadiartgallery Instagram.The results show that the denotative meaning that emerges from this stage of meaning is that female body features refer to the entire beauty of the body without using clothes that show some forms of body curves with style variants such as highlighting breasts, hips and culturally shaped feminine characteristics such as long hair, calves. slim, white skin, clean and smooth. Meanwhile, in connotation, the beauty of women is not only seen from the attractive and charming face, but the fragments of the female body which are shown as an ideal body shape also attract public attention and do not regard it as a form of pornography but as a work of art. Finally, the myth that arises from this research is to form a construction that requires that the female body displayed with lighting effects in the photo can eliminate the impression of vulgarity with the photographer's imagination which turns it into a work of art.The implication of this research is for further researchers to further deepen the scope of the representation of women's bodies. So that it is hoped that there will be other research as a comparison against the title of the same research on representation of the female body on the @Darwistriadiartgallery Instagram account by using different semiotic theories so that the knowledge obtained can be more diverse. Abstract

Melihat fenomena game online yang saat ini sangat populer dengan penyelenggaraan tournament khususnya PUBG Mobile membuat keberadaan game online bukan hanya sebagai hiburan semata melainkan adanya peluang untuk berprestasi. Kecenderungan motif yang belum diketahui dalam dalam memainkan game PUBG Mobile membuat penelitian ini penting untuk dilakukan Anggapan remaja terhadap perilakunya, bagaimana remaja dalam mengatribusi dirinya serta bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal remaja dalam bermain game pubg mobile menjadi ruang lingkup dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motif remaja dalam mengatribusi dirinya terkait perilakunya dalam bermain game PUBG Mobile serta komunikasi interpersonal yang terjalin saat bermain game PUBG Mobile.Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian fenomenologi. Teori yang digunakan yakni teori atribusi dan komunikasi antarpribadi serta teknik pengolaan dan analisis data dilakukan menggunaan analisis dari Miles dan Huberman dengan model tahapan sebagai berikut: Data Reduction, Data Display, Conclusion Drawing and Verification Hasil dari peititan ini mengindikasikan bahwa motif remaja Kota Makassar di warkop 157 terhadap perilakunya dalam bermain game PUBG Mobile lebih mengarah kepada atribusi disposisional sebagai bentuk pembenaran atau defense bahwa tidak ada pengaruh ketergantungan terhadap perilakunya. Peneliti melihat hal tersebut dari: Penyebab situasional (individu dipengaruhi oleh lingkngannya) yaitu perilaku dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan termaksud perilaku bermain game PUBG Mobile dan anggapan terhadap perilaku individu, kemudian adanya pengaruh personal (ingin memengaruhi secara pribadi) proses atribusi cenderung dipengaruhi oleh faktor disposisional dalam penentuan sikap untuk melakukan penilaian terhadap perilakunya dalam bermain game, serta meiliki keinginan (ingin melakukan sesuatu) dalam hal ini keinginan dalam mencaritahu sebab dari perilaku. Adapun interaksi interpersonal remaja dalam bermain PUBG Mobile terjadi dalam konteks : Psikologi, pengomunikasian kondisi psikologi remaja yang terkait nilai-nilai, kepribadian sampai dengan hal-hal yang menyangkut pribadi dari remaja, Relasional, interaksi yang terjadi sampai kepada keintiman pembicaraan melalui faktor relasional yang menjembatangi hal tersebut, serta konteks Situasional, proses komunikasi yang terjadi dengan adanya atau diperhadapkan dalam situasi dan kondisi yang sama sehingga terjalin komunikasi yang sangat personal.
