Abstract

This study aims to analyze empirical evidence of the effect of product quality on brand image and its impact on purchasing decisions on Aldo Shoes products at Mall Kelapa Gading 2 North Jakarta. Samples obtained as many as 90 respondents, sampling techniques using non-probability sampling, namely sampling techniques that provide equal opportunities for each element (member) of the population to be selected as sample members. Analysis of the data used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results of this study indicate that product quality on brand image has a positive and significant effect, so that if the quality of the product gets better the brand image will increase. Product quality on purchasing decisions has a positive and significant effect, so that if the quality of the product gets better the purchasing decision will increase. Brand image of purchasing decisions has a positive and significant effect, so that if the brand image of the product is increasingly attached to the minds of consumers, purchasing decisions will increase. And product quality on purchasing decisions through brand image has positive and significant influence.

Abstract

The bloom of banking and fintech companies in Indonesia is marked by the rapid growth of e-wallet users in recent years. The bloom is encouraged by the government by establishing the Gerakan Nasional Non Tunai program to promote cashless society among millennials who are already familiar with cashless lifestyle. There are many factors which attract people to use e-wallet, such as trust, usefulness, and promotion. This research aims to examine the effect of trust and perceived usefulness moderated by the promotion variable on consumers’ preference towards two e-wallet brands—OVO and GoPay. This quantitative research is conducted using Likert scale. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method is used to examine whether each variable has different effect in shaping consumers’ preference. The samples used in this research are active users of OVO and GoPay who are currently living in Semarang. The ANOVA results show that trust, usefulness, and promotion does not have different effect in shaping consumers’ preference. However, they do attract consumers to use e-wallet. This research might be useful to help develop better quality of e-wallet service, security, and utility and build a perfect marketing strategy for banking and fintech companies.

Abstract

Perilaku konsumen saat ini berubah sesuai dengan gaya hidup era modern saat ini. Dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi semua menjadi serba praktis. Perubahan gaya hidup manusia saat ini bergeser dari yang berbelanja secara offline menjadi serba online. Sekarang e-commerce mengalami perkembangan secara pesat, terutama pada Shopee. Banyak konsumen berbondong-bondong berbelanja online melalui Shope. Selain praktis juga hemat waktu dan tenaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh lifestyle dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan impulse buying pada konsumen Shopee generasi Z. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 220 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria sebagai berikut: (1) Konsumen remaja generasi Z yang aktif menggunakan aplikasi Shopee; (2) Pernah melakukan transaksi pembelian pada platform e-commerce terutama Shopee; (3) Remaja generasi Z yang rentang usianya 17-25 tahun atau yang lahir pada tahun 1995-2003. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian diperoleh hasil  adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dengan arah positif dari variabel lifestyle terhadap variabel impulse buying. Serta, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan arah positif antara kualitas produk  terhadap impulse buying.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor eksternal dan internal perusahaan terhadap return saham dengan moderasi Good Corporate Governance (GCG) pada sektor perbankan yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2014-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan 20 perusahaan sebagai sampel dari total 42 perusahaan sektor perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dan menerbitkan annual report tahun 2014-2018 (100 panel data). Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analasis regresi data panel dengan menggunakan software Eviews. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat suku bunga dan kurs (faktor eksternal), aktivitas, dan mekanisme GCG (faktor internal) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap retrun saham. Namun, inflasi dan profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap return saham. Begitu pula dengan GCG yang diproksi oleh dewan komisaris independen tidak mampu memperkuat pengaruh Profitabilitas dan Aktivitas terhadap return saham. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini, manajemen agar terus meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi agar kinerja perbankan terus meningkat karena akan berdampak terhadap harga dan return saham. Bagi investor, agar memperhatikan rasio Total Asset Turn Over untuk menilai tingkat efektifitas dan efisiensi perbankan sebelum menginvestasikan dana di perusahaan juga melihat mekanisme Corporate Governance di perbankan. Investor juga harus memperhatikan nilai kurs dan tingkat suku bunga saat mau menginvestasikan dananya di perbankan karena berdampak terhadap return saham. Kata Kunci: Return Saham, Kinerja Keuangan, GCG, Inflasi, Kurs, Tingkat Bunga. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of external and internal factors on stock returns moderated by Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in the banking sector listed on the IDX in 2014-2018. This study uses 20 companies as a sample of a total of 42 banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and publishes the 2014-2018 annual report (100 panel data). The analytical method used is the panel data regression analysis method using Eviews software. The results showed that the interest rate and exchange rate (external factors), activity, and the GCG mechanism (internal factors) had a significant effect on stock retraction. However, inflation and profitability have no effect on stock returns. Likewise, GCG which is proxied by the independent board of commissioners is not able to strengthen the effect of Profitability and Activity on stock returns. The implication of this research is that management should continue to improve effectiveness and efficiency so that banking performance will continue to increase because it will have an impact on stock prices and returns. For investors, to pay attention to the Total Asset Turn Over ratio to assess the level of effectiveness and efficiency of banks before investing funds in the company, also see the mechanism of corporate governance in banking. Investors must also pay attention to exchange rates and interest rates when they want to invest their funds in banks because they have an impact on stock returns.Keywords: Stock Return, Financial Performance, GCG, Inflation, Exchange Rates, Interest Rates.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPemberian kompensasi finansial dan non finansial sangat penting bagi karyawan dan perusahaan, karena menjadi salah satu motivasi karyawan untuk meningkatkan kinerja kerjanya. Jika kinerja kerja karyawan meningkat maka akan berpengaruh juga terhadap pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh kompensasi finansial dan kompensasi non finansial terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Sahabat Prima Sukses secara parsial dan simultan. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang dengan teknik pengambilan menggunakan sampel jenuh. metode pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji parsial, uji simultan dan koefesien determinasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak semua hipotesis diterima, dimana kompensasi finansial berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sedangkan kompensasi non finansial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Artinya semakin baik kompensasi non finansial yang diberikan perusahaan maka kinerja karyawan akan semakin meningkat. Oleh karena itu perusahaan harus lebih meningkatkan kompensasi non finansial terutama dalam membuat kebijakan organisasi yang berpengaruh terhadap kenyamanan karyawa

Abstract

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) Dramaga is one of the universities with the best agricultural background in Indonesia. Many people are willing to leave for education at IPB. However, many of the overseas students have problems regarding where to live. The purpose of this study (1) To identify the factors that influence the rental of temporary housing in the Bogor Agricultural University area. (2) Analyze the factors that influence the decision to lease a temporary residence while studying at the Dramaga Bogor Agricultural University. The type of data in this study is quantitative data, primary data is obtained through questionnaires and secondary data is obtained from the Bogor Agricultural University website, as well as various relevant literature and reports. The method used is descriptive analysis and factor analysis with the variables used in this study is the 7P Marketing Mix. Based on the results of the factor analysis, 20 new factors were formed that greatly influenced consumers in choosing a temporary residence. In addition, the alternative that can be given from this research is that the owner of the residence should be able to optimize the promotion in terms of advertising so that it is right on target.Keywords:IPB Students, Marketing Mix, Temporary Residence

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how much the significance of the price, facilities and services have been conducted, influence consumer satisfaction, either partially or simultaneously. Research using quantitative descriptive approaches, and rules for collecting information on poll use, where data analysis techniques with multiple regression analysis methods. Sample size in research of 80 respondents, with sampling method using probability sampling ordinance. The results found that prices, facilities and services are partially and simultaneously have significance to consumer satisfaction, during the Covid-19 pandemic. These results show that Hotel management needs to consider how facilities and employee interactions with Hotel consumers can be managed to satisfy consumer satisfaction, which will take them to receive premium prices charged by the Hotel. This study will allow the Lotus Garden Hotel & Resort to be even better.

Abstract

Teleworking mothers in Indonesia have been stressed due to work-family conflicts during the Covid-19 pandemic. Whilst most scholars likely have been studied work-family conflict and work stress partially, this study proposed a more comprehensive structural model of causality by analyzing the effect of spousal and organizational support toward work stress on teleworking mothers during the Covid-19 pandemic through the mediation of work-family conflict. This study used a purposive sampling technique in collecting 57 respondents that appropriated to the criteria of study such as teleworking mother during the Covid-19 pandemic, live in Jabodetabek, and possess one child or more. This study used path analysis with two models of direct and indirect. The results indicated that spousal support and organizational support directly and negatively affected work-family conflict, but did not directly affect work stress. Work-family conflict directly and positively affected work stress, while spousal and organizational support indirectly and negatively affected work stress through the mediation of work-family conflict. Therefore, teleworking mothers who have been stressed during the pandemic due to work-family conflicts are recommended to improve their spousal dan organizational support in reducing their level of work stress.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh struktur modal terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2014-2018. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 11 perusahaan pertambangan yang memenuhi kriteria penarikan sampel. Variabel independen adalah struktur modal, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah profitabilitas. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan persamaan regresi linier berganda yang diolah melalui program software SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian memberikan bukti bahwa debt to equity ratio memiliki hubungan negatif signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Sementara debt to asset ratio serta longterm debt to equity ratio tidak memiliki peran dalam menjelaskan profitabilitas.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of debt costs, dividend policy, profitability, company size, business risk, and company growth on the capital structure of coal and non-coal mining industry on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-2019 period, and to analyze the differences in the effect sixth determinant of capital structure  in the two industrial subsectors studied. Based on purposive sampling method was obtained 19 coal mining companies and 17 non-coal mining companies as the research sample. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis and Chow test. The analysis showed that simultaneously cost of debt, dividend policy, profitability, company size, business risk, and company growth has a significant effect on the capital structure of the coal sub-sector, but no significant effect on non-coal sub-sector. Partially, the sixth of these variables have varying effect in the two industrial subsectors studied. Chow test results indicate a difference in effect cost of debt, dividend policy, profitability, company size, business risk, and company growth on capital structure decisions in the coal and non-coal sub-sectors. The limitation of this research is only examines the stability of the parameters in the regression model without informing how big a change or difference. The results of this study are beneficial to mining companies and academics.
