Abstract

: Sumber Jenon is one of the natural attractions in Malang Regency. Tourism which is managed directly by BUMDes Lumbung Argo Tirto in its development through various dynamics that also involve the community. This study focuses on the dynamics of Sumber Jenon's tourism development, and will then be analyzed with Henri Lefebvre's space production concept. In an effort to obtain data, researchers use data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The analysis in this study uses Lefebvre's space production glasses which have three main concepts, namely spatial space, spatial representation and representation space. The results obtained in this study show that in tourism development there is a dynamic, where dynamics arise due to differences in interests between various groups. The dynamics that arise not only aim to fight over material aspects, but also non-material aspects such as public image. The construction of the Jenon Source can be classified into three stages. The stages can be further analyzed using Lefebvre's three concepts of space.

Abstract

Globalization has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including in the context of higher education. This study aims to explore intercultural interactions in regional student communities at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Sunan Ampel State Islamic University (UIN) Surabaya, as a response to the phenomenon of globalization and cultural diversity. The method chosen in this research was to gain an in-depth understanding of intercultural interactions in the academic area student community at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Case study research on research subjects related to globalization which brings changes in student interactions. Intercultural interaction among students in the era of globalization is a specific or typical phase of the overall personality. The results of the research show that globalization has made positive and negative contributions to intercultural interaction at FISIP UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. On the one hand, the exchange of ideas and experiences between students and lecturers from various cultures has enriched the academic experience. On the other hand, there are challenges in managing cultural differences that may cause conflicts or misunderstandings.

Abstract

The Pangudarasa script contains the importance of maintaining national identity to avoid arrogance. This research aims to describe the values of nationalism in the Pangudarasa manuscript. This research uses a descriptive method with primary data from the Pangudarasa manuscript collection of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia with code number NB 1076.The research data consists of linguistic units in the text that contain values of nationalism. Data collection was conducted through heuristic and hermeneutic readings. The main instrument in the research is the human instrument. Data analysis is conducted using descriptive analysis. Data validation was carried out with validity and reliability. Based on the research results, the values of nationalism found in the Pangudarasa text include: a) maintaining the unity and integrity of the nation, b) loving and using domestic products, c) preserving the reputation of the nation and state, d) committing to defend the country from foreign threats, e) using the national language correctly and properly, f) prioritizing the interests of the nation and state above personal interests, and g) loving and preserving local culture. The values of nationalism in the Pangudarasa text can serve as an example as a foundation for living a life of nationhood and statehood.

Abstract

Sufism plays a very important role in today's era. Amid the busyness and complexities of modern life, many people feel lost and confused in their search for meaning and purpose in life. This study aims to analyze the Sufi metaphors found in the lyrics of the song "Mardatilla" by Rhoma Irama, which conveys messages about Sufism. The analysis method used in this research is Sufi metaphor analysis, which refers to Sufi theories and the understanding of metaphor as a means to gain deeper insight into spiritual concepts or truths. The data analyzed consists of the lyrics of "Mardatilla," selected based on the richness of Sufi metaphors contained within. The results of the study show that the lyrics of "Mardatilla" contain many Sufi metaphors representing spiritual concepts and experiences in Sufism, such as worship, spiritual experiences, love and loyalty to God, and transcendental experiences. Thus, this study can contribute to the understanding of Sufism through the analysis of Sufi metaphors found in popular art forms such as music.

Abstract

This article examines the meaning of happinness in the lyrics of the song “Nanti Kita Seperti Ini” by Batas Senja through Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis. Roland Barthes’ semiotic theory is used to explain the denotation, connotation, and myth of the meaning of happiness contained in the song lyrics. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with an interpretative model. The data collection technique used in this research is a document study technique through tracing various sources relevant to the topic being analyzed. The results of Roland Barthes; semiotic study on the lyrics of the song “Nanti Kita Seperti Ini” by Batas Senja are as follows. The denotation meaning shows the feeling of great love and the desire to interpret happiness together. The connotation meaning relates to the human connection in nterpreting happiness armed with faith in God. Meanwhile, the myth contained in the song lyrics is cooperation in relationships to define happiness itself.
