Cameras have become a necessity for social media users to upload interesting content. There are several brands on the camera market today, such as Lumix, Olympus, Fujifilm, Sony, Canon, Nikon. Because the camera is a product with high involvement that makes consumers have to be involved and conduct a search before making a purchase decision, from the many brands that circulate consumers get and search for information through the reference group that they use to make decisions about which camera to buy. The exposure of information obtained by consumers comes from online referral groups and offline referral groups. Thus this study aims to determine the relationship between exposure to information from online referral groups and offline reference groups with the decision to purchase Sony A7II cameras. The theory used in this research is the Theory Reference Group and Information Integration Theory. This research is a quantitative research with explanatory type. This study uses a non-random technique with a total sample of 60 people aged 18-30 years on the island of Java. The results of the Kendall Tau correlation analysis show that exposure to online referral group information has a strong relationship with the purchase decision of Sony A7II camera, indicated by a coefficient value of 0.563 and significance of 0.000, and the relationship between exposure to offline referral group information with purchasing decisions of Sony A7II cameras also has this strong relationship can be seen from the test results, the correlation coefficient value is 0.503 and the significance value is 0.000. from the results obtained it is recommended for Sony camera brands, to be able to hold offline seminars that invite photographic figures and there are Sony camera product displays, so that consumers can immediately feel the performance of the camera so that consumers can make purchases after getting information.

Kasus pengeroyokan Haringga Sirla merupakan peristiwa yang terjadi menjelang pertandingan sepakbola antara Persib Bandung melawan Persija Jakarta. Kasus tersebut menyedot perhatian publik yang tinggi, hingga berbagai pemberitaan muncul memberitakan peristiwa tersebut. Pemberitaan yang muncul terkait kasus tersebut menyajikan realitas melalui berbagai sudut pandang. Salah satu media yang memberitakan kasus pengeroyokan Haringga Sirla adalah portal berita online Detik.com.. Terkait kasus pengeroyokan Haringga Sirla, kasus ini dipilih karena kasus tersebut menarik perhatian publik yang tinggi, seiring dengan tingginya antusiasme masyarakat Indonesia mengenai perkembangan sepakbola Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsipsikan isi berita pada portal berita online Detik.com terkait dengan kasus pengeroyokan Haringga Sirla. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi kepada 75 berita yang dirilis Detik.com. Portal berita online Detik.com dipilih dalam penelitian ini, karena Detik.com merupakan salah satu portal berita online dengan arus distribusi pengunjung di internet yang tertinggi di Indonesia. Hasil analisis isi yang dilakukan dengan teori konstruksi realitas sosial menunjukkan bahwa, Detik.com melakukan pembingkaian terhadap peristiwa pengeroyokan Haringga Sirla sehingga pembaca memaknai peristiwa tersebut bukan bagian dari pengelolaan sepakbola melainkan, peristiwa hukum pada umumnya. Detik.com berusaha membangun kredibilitas melalui pemilihan narasumber dan proses memperoleh informasi mengenai kasus pengeroyokan Haringga Sirla, yang ditunjukkan melalui pencantuman sumber berita berupa pihak-pihak tertentu yang terlibat langsung dalam proses hukum dan peradilan terhadap para tersangka. Foto berita yang dimuat pada pemberitaan kasus pengeroyokan Haringga Sirla, berusaha untuk melakukan konstruksi sosial mengenai bagaimana proses yang dilalui oleh individu yang melakukan pelanggaran hukum dengan menunjukkan bagaimana para tersangka mengikuti proses hukum dalam mempertanggungjawabkan tindakan pengeroyokan yang dilakukan. Disarankan kepada Detik.com untuk meningkatkan keragaman isi berita, baik itu tema berita yang diangkat, sumber berita yang dipilih, maupun gambar atau foto berita dalam pemberitaan, yang akan meningkatkan kelengkapan realitas atas sebuah peristiwa yang terjadi, agar pembaca dapat memaknai sebuah peristiwa yang terjadi secara lengkap dan utuh serta dapat meminimalisir terjadinya bias makna, sehingga berita yang dirilis dapat menjadi rujukan dan memberikan pemahaman yang jelas kepada pembaca.

Social media or the so-called social networking sites (SNS) is one of the media which is experiencing the fastest rise. One of them is the Youtube social media which has increased the number of its users each year. The ease of access to the Internet, especially social media is not always a positive effect since nearly 80% of teenagers aged 10-19 in 11 provinces of Indonesia are addicted to social media and the majority of these teenagers use social media for inappropriate things. The high use of social media among teenagers become a thing to be considered since a large amount of time spent by teenagers to use social media can have an impact on their daily activities like their study time as a student. The lack of learning time for the student may have an impact on student achievement becoming not optimal. In addition to the tools and technologies of social media, the school environmental factors, especially peers become one of the factors that affect student achievement. Peer influence can determine how a student takes an attitude or behavior. Communication with peers can provide positive and negative impacts. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the intensity of accessing Youtube social media and Peer Group Communication on student achievement. The theory used in this study is Social Media Framework Theory to assess the effect of the intensity of accessing Youtube social media on student achievement and the Theory of Reference Group to assess the intensity of communication peer group on student achievement. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling conducted by accidental sampling with a sample size of 100 people with the criteria of high school students aged 15-19 years in Yogyakarta and social media users of Youtube. The test is carried out using the Simple Linear Regression Test. The results showed that there was a negative effect of the intensity of accessing Youtube social media on student achievement with a significance value of 0.104. The intensity variable of accessing Youtube social media on student achievement contributed 4,9%. The remaining 94% contribution is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The biggest contributory factor of the intensity variables of accessing Youtube social media on student achievement is the duration and frequency of access to social media. This is because students are allowed to bring gadgets to school. The research results of the intensity of peer group communication showed insignificant results. That is the intensity of peer group communication did not effect on student achievement with a significance value of 0.107 which exceeded the 0.05 standard of significance. For further research, it is expected to examine more of the other factors beyond these studied factors that can affect student achievement.

This study aims to explain how Kasepuhan Ciptagelar in Sukabumi, through customary elders and community media maintains the existence of customs that become their identity while spreading it to the outside community. Kasepuhan Ciptagelar is classified as a Co-culture group (Mark Orbe) among the dominant cultures. The Identity Negotiation Theory (Stella Ting-toomey) is used to explain how the community in the adat system interacts with the dominant cultural community and the Theory of Cultural Studies (Stuart Hall) is used to examine the use of community media to disseminate customary values to the wider community. This type of research is qualitative descriptive with a phenomenological approach. The informants of this study were indigenous elders and Kasepuhan Ciptagelar community media workers. The results of the study show that the values and systems of customary norms are identities which reflected by indigenous peoples wherever they are. Customary elders and the community applied the concept of MIA (mindfull identity attunement) through welcoming, mentoring and rewarding each migrant without limiting the curiosity of the immigrant community. Mindfullnes in interacting and communication competence of indigenous people increases along with the number of visitors who come. Regardless of how stereotypes are given from dominant cultural communities, indigenous people have pride in their cultural identity. Submission of cultural identity also occurs through community media managed by Kasepuhan Ciptagelar. Through community media, Kasepuhan Ciptagelar creates rival hegemony in order to minimize the influence of agreed dominant culture potentially damaging customary values

This study aims to understand how the parent-child communication experience when watching children's shows on social media Tik Tok. This research is motivated by the emergence of a social media phenomenon that is widely used by the community, Tik Tok, whose presence makes various types of controversies in the form of video content that is not suitable for consumption by children. This research was conducted through a phenomenology approach and with a qualitative descriptive method. The main theory used in this study is the Phenomenology Theory of Alferd Schutz. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews with 8 informants. The results of this study found that parents understand that Tik Tok social media contains negative content for children. In addition, parents can give examples of negative content, namely vulgar shows, erotic, lipsync adult songs. In communicating with children about shows in Tik Tok parents do it based on two motives namely future motives (in order motive) and past motives (because motive). Future motives in the form of motives to be achieved, namely aiming that children do not do negative things, understand the boundaries in social media and foster the creative nature of children in the future, in doing that communication parents do it by discussing and proposing appropriate shows age of child. Past motives are the reason for parents to communicate with children. Parents' experience derived from an understanding of social media Tik Tok makes parents communicate the programs on social media Tik Tok and apply actions in the form of regulations, among others, by limiting time to access, accompanying children and discussing shows with children.

This study aims to understand the patterns of communication between parents and children in the process of developing talent and choosing a child's career with a choice of musician profession. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The theories used in this study are Family Relations Schema Theory, Theory Self Disclosure and Emotional Intelligence Theory. In this study it was found that, to help children in developing talent and musical careers required high conversation orientation, supportive communication, and pluralistic types within the family. Suggestions that can be given are parents and children must increase the intensity of communication within the family to be able to creating openness and closeness to parent and child relationships and helping children achieve success.

Development carried out by the government has a function to build human resources and also build physical in an area. The development of Kampung Bahari Tambak Lorok is one of them, which has the aim of alleviating slums and prospering its citizens. This study aims to describe the process of socialization, involvement and involvement of the Tambak Lorok community and to know the inhibiting and supporting factors. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with primary data sources from interviewees as many as 11 people, secondary data taken from relevant documents, as for data analysis using case studies with pattern matching, simple pattern patterns. The results of the study show: (1) The socialization starts with planning the concept first and the implementation is divided into 3 types of activities (2) The involvement and involvement of the Tambak Lorok community is very limited (3) The inhibiting factors and supporting more problems in non-technical matters, namely concerning characteristics of coastal communities.

Vivo Smartphone is one of smartphone brand with 99% advertisement placement on Indonesian television screens. The continually advertisements exposure can increase audience brand awareness and shape brand attitude towards Vivo Smartphone. However, with that advertisment frequency, Vivo Smartphone still cannot reach its target. Therefore, this research will discuss whether television advertising exposure (brand awareness and brand attitude) have influence on the purchase decision of Vivo Smartphone products. In addition, this reseacrch will also examined the influnce of the level of trust about Vivo Smartphone information among peer group toward purchase decision of Vivo Smartphone products. This research used Advertising Exposure Theory and Reasoned of Action Theory. The sample of this research were men or women aged 15-35 years domicile in Semarang who exposed to Vivo Smartphone advertisements on television and had discussed about Vivo Smartphone products with their peer group. The number of sample are 50 people with nonprobability sampling technique, with quota sampling type. Analysis of the data used was linear regression using the SPSS computered-program. The results of first hypothesis test showed that advertising exposure on television did not significantly influence Vivo Smartphone brand awareness with significance value of 0.941. Next the result of second hypothesis test, Vivo Smartphone brand awareness did not significantly influence brand attitude with significance value of 0.935. The third hypothesis test also showed that brand attitude did not significantly influence purchase decision of Vivo Smartphone product with significant value of 0.758. Meanwhile, the fourth hypothesis test showed that trust level of Vivo Smartphone information among peer group significantly influence purchase decision of Vivo Smartphone product with significance value of 0.042. The regression coefficience is 0.126 means that if there is an increase in the trust level of Vivo Smartphone information among peer group, the purchase decision of Vivo products will increase by 0.126. In addition, the trust levelof Vivo Smartphone information among peer group has influence of 8.3% on the purchase decision of Vivo Smartphone products.

This study aims to find out the reason why someone does cyberbully to celebrities and to describe the forms of cyberbullying itself. In addition, this research also aims to find out the celebrity’s view about cyberbullying and to find out the response given by celebrities. This is motivated by the rise of cyberbullying by users towards celebrities on social media. Cyberbullying is generally interpreted as an act of intimidation or verbal violence committed by perpetrators through the internet or social networks. This study using the phenomenology approach using qualitative descriptive analysis method. With the phenomenology approach, this study seeks to understand a phenomenon of cyberbullying through the perspective of the perpetrators and victims. The subject of this study consisted of six informants who were divided into four actors and two victims by conducting in-depth interviews. The findings of this study are seen from the perspective of the perpetrators and celebrities as victims. The conclusion of this research shows that cyberbullying is based on socio-economic jealousy, lack of activity, to justify certain circumstances and humor. The researcher concluded that the existence of social media, especially fake accounts, made the perpetrators ventured to commit cyberbullying and cyberbullying as joint actions. Furthermore, it shows that legal risk can limit the occurrence of cyberbullying, but there is a rationalization of the perpetrators to continue to do cyberbullying. And the latest findings from the point of view of the perpetrators indicate that the actions of cyberbullying can bring forth replies from victims to the perpetrators. From a celebrity's point of view, researchers found that the occurrence of cyberbullying was driven by technology. In addition, cyberbullying also affects the mentality of celebrities and becomes a scary specter. Furthermore, this study also found that celebrities showed apathy and self-evaluation as an action to protect celebrities from cyberbullying. Finally, cyberbullying is a circular cycle, in a sense; celebrities experiencing cyberbullying also do cyberbully.

Social media is considered to be the most effective in spreading issues so that it becomes viral in the society. One of the massive issues disseminated on social media is the issue related to changing the president in 2019 to bring up the # 2019GantiPresiden’s hashtag, which has been mentioned more than 1 million times on twitter during the period 1 July to 31 December 2018. The emergence of this hashtag aims to gain public support for presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto. However, the electability of Prabowo Subianto in West Sumatra according to the results of a survey from Indo Barometer at the end of January 2018 actually declined compared to the 2014 presidential election which amounted to 19.1% while Jokowi's elecability rise compared to the 2014 presidential election, which was 32%. In addition to information factors from social media, another factor that also influences someone's interest in choosing a presidential candidate is through their perception of work programs carried out by the presidential candidates concerned. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of #2019GantiPresiden campaign exposure on social media and public perceptions of the Prabowo Sandi presidential candidate's work program toward the interest in choosing Prabowo Sandi in the 2019 presidential election in West Sumatra. This research is an explanatory quantitative research. The theory used in this study is the Social Media Framework Theory to verify the influence of #2019GantiPresiden campaign exposure on social media toward select interests and Interpersonal Theory and Public Opinion to verify the influence of public perceptions of Prabowo Sandi's presidential candidate's work program on people's interest in West Sumatra. The sampling technique using nonprabability sampling was carried out by purposive sampling with total sample of 50 people with the criteria is West Sumatra citizens aged 17-25 years and exposed to # 2019 GantiPresident campaign exposure on social media. Testing is done using the Ordinal Regression Test. The results showed that there was no effect on # 2019GantiPresiden campaign exposure toward interest in choosing Prabowo Sandi in West Sumatra with a significance of 0.241 over the significance standardization of 0.05. This shows that campaign exposure #2019GantiPresiden on social media doesn’t affect the interest of the people of West Sumatra to choose Probowo Sandi. The results also showed that there was an influence of the public perception of the work program on the interest in choosing Prabowo Sandi in the 2019 Presidential Election in West Sumatra at 26.5%. The remaining 73.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Correlation between variables shows significance of 0.004. This shows that there is an influence of the public perception of the work program toward the interest in choosing Prabowo Sandi in the 2019 Presidential Election in West Sumatra. For further research, it is expected to be able to examine more about other factors beyond the factors studied which can influence a person's interest in choosing a leader.
