Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build a system with a scientific paper directory service, namely a directory of journal articles published by the University of Riau which is organized in such a way that it is easy to search. The design is carried out through the stages of system design analysis, global design and detailed design. The scientific work directory system of the Riau University Library which can be accessed online at the address https://cloud.unri.ac.id/direktori. The development carried out in this study uses the stages of system design, system development, implementation and evaluation, with the final result of a web-based interface.

Abstract

The research was conducted using descriptive methods, on six Badan Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah (DPAD) in Java. The purpose of this research is to find out the types of library services, archives, galleries and also the hours of service each week. Data was collected from each DPAD site, while the data collected included library services, archive services, galleries, and service opening hours. The results show that the library services provided are information retrieval, document provision, mobile library, book delivery services. Archive services are archive browsing, archive storage, and restoration of damaged archives. Each DPAD has a gallery, both in the form of real and virtual rooms. The earliest service time is held by the Central Java Archives and Library Service, and the Banten Provincial Library and Archives Service at 07.00 WIB, and at the latest held by the DIY Provincial Library and Archives Service. that is at 22.00 WIB. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the Provincial Library and Archives Service in Java has been doing what is called the Gallery, Library, and Archive for a long time. The three elements of public service have been carried out well. The longest service time is held by the DIY Provincial Library and Archives Service (86 hours/week). As for the management of government-owned museums, it seems that they have not been unified, but it is possible that due to regional autonomy, the management can be unified, especially at the provincial level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of library e-resources services on student learning achievement in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The method used is a survey with correlational techniques. Research respondents were active students totaling 300 people taken from 20 public and private universities located in Pekanbaru City, using quata sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire, with a Likert scale model. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis technique and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there was an influence between library e-resources services on student achievement, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.029. The value of this correlation coefficient indicates that the level of strength of the relationship is very weak. And obtained the value of the coefficient of determination R Square (R2) of 0.001. This means that it shows that the effect of variable X on Y is only 0.01%. The results of this study are very useful for the improvement and improvement of e-resources library services, especially at universities in Pekanbaru City. The conclusions of this study indicate that student achievement can be improved by providing e-resources library services.

Abstract

In the Unri Library, the risk of information technology (IT) is an event that has the potential to disrupt the service process. IT risks that have not been mapped have resulted in an imbalance in the risk identification process in the Unri Library, so that services are less than optimal. To correct this imbalance, IT risks must be identified and IT services must be improved so that the library service process is not stalled. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the application of the NIST SP 800-30 framework by the Unri Library for risk evaluation of library information systems. The method used in this research is to conduct interviews with people who are directly involved with the Unri Library SLiMS application system. The findings of this study can be used to map risks by detailing how to assess the risk of library information systems and how to manage the dangers of Unri's library information systems.

Abstract

Management of information resources is an important factor that must be developed in a university library that is disabled friendly and inclusive. This study aims to determine the information resource management policy at the Sebelas Maret University Library UPT that is friendly and inclusive. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. Conducted through interviews, documentation and questionnaires with a sample of 33 respondents. Data processing using SPSS 25. The results obtained are in determining information resource management policies for disabled users by classifying sources, source storage, systems, and search media, user and source adjustment methods, and document packaging and presentation methods. The results of the study stated that the management of library information resources at the UPT Library of UNS has a high category, this is evidenced by a number of 21 people or 63.6% of respondents claiming to be able to get information from information sources provided by the UPT Library of UNS with the website https://Library. uns.ac.id. The conclusion is that the management of information resources at UPT Sebelas Maret University Library, Surakarta, can be said to be disabled friendly and inclusive because the information sources provided can be used by non-disabled and disabled users. However, special facilities for disabled users need to be improved.

This study aims to determine the relationship between reading interest on student achievement in universities in Pekanbaru City. The method used is a survey with a correlational technique. Research respondents were active students totaling 300 people taken from 20 public and private universities located in Pekanbaru City, using quata sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire, with a Likert scale model. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis technique and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between reading interest on student achievement, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.068. The value of this correlation coefficient indicates that the level of strength of the relationship is very weak. And obtained the value of the coefficient of determination R Square (R2) of 0.005. This means that the effect of variable X on Y is only 0.50%. The results of this study are useful for the improvement and improvement of the development of reading interest, especially in universities in Pekanbaru City. The conclusions of this study indicate that student learning achievement can be increased by reading interest.
