Abstract

In achieving its objectives, CV.Medinda Semarang should consider factors that can affect the performance of the employees. Among them are internal communications, compensation, work environment, and motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence internal communications, compensation, work environment, employee performance motivation. The problem in this research is the company already provides internal communications, compensation, work environment that supports and provides motivation to employees to be more passion in work but are less target is reached. The results of the calculation is Y = (-2833) + 0,277 X1 + 0,164 X2 + 0,426 X3 + 0,222 Z that indicates that the work environment (X3) have a greater influence on performance (Y) when compared to internal communications (X1), compensation (X2) and Motivation (Z). It can be proved that the internal communications, compensation, work environment affects performance. The conclusion of this study is that there is influence between internal communications, compensation, work environment on performance through motivation at CV. Medinda Semarang. Suggestions for improving the performance of employees to improve the company's attention to aspects of internal communications, compensation, work environment, supported by a motivation to its employees to be more spirit in the work that will ultimately improve the performance of the employees.

Abstract

This study about the influence of distribution cost and promotion cost to sales volume of candy tolak angin  in PT Muncul Mekar Semarang. Companies often experience fluctuations in sales volumes of  candy tolak angin. Issues to be discussed is how the promotion cost influence to sales volume, how the distribution cost influence to sales volume as well as how the influence of promotion costs and distribution costs to sales volume. While the purpose of this study is to determine the influence of promotion costs to sales volume, the influence of distribution costs to sales volume and the influence of promotion costs and distribution costs to sales volume. The type of this study is explanatory research that is explained and research the influence of existing variables. The data used is data in period of 2006 to 2011. To get it is used interview techniques to related parties. From the statistical calculations using simple regression analysis was known promotion costs to sales volume Y= 5222,9 + 0,0000193 X1, distribution costs to sales volume Y = 5638,8+  0,00007478 X2. Through the multiple regression analysis between the cost of promotion and distribution costs to sales volume Y = 5044,6+  0,0000195 X1 +  0,0000904 X2. By using the F test is known that the value of F count is 18.2 greater than F table (df1 = k= 2 and df2 = n-k-1=72-2-1 = 69) so F table is 3.13. And obtained the values ​​of significance (P value) is 0.001. Since the value of P value less than 0.05 it  means Ha is accepted and Ho rejected, so it can be concluded that the promotion costs and distribution costs together may influence sales volume. While the dominant influence is given by the promotion costs. The conclusion is that the promotion costs used to support promotional activities are appropriate because the promotion is interesting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of dissatisfaction and advertisement of competing products towards brand switching behaviour of IM3 consumers through variety seeking as a moderating variable. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Whereas, the method of analysis used in this research was path analysis. The result of calculation indicated that each of the variable of dissatisfaction, variable of competing product advertisements, and variable of variety seeking has a positive, significant effect on variable of brand-switching behaviour. The effect caused by the variable of dissatisfaction towards variable of brand-switching behaviour is the biggest, it is as much as 57.5%. Simultaneously has a positive, significant effect towards variable of brand-switching behaviour as much as 65.5%, while the remaining is 34.5% is explained by the other factors. Based on the path analysis calculation, it was proved that variable of variety seeking as a moderating variable can be a strengthening relationship mediator between variable of competing product advertisement and variable of brand switching behavior. Meanwhile, the variety seeking variable exactly being a mediator which weaken the relevance of dissatisfaction variable to the brand switching behavior. The recommendations of this research are the company should improve the quality of service, expand the signal coverage, upgrade the signal strength, make the sound of product clearer. The company also should increase the frequency of publicity in several media. The creativity of advertising strategy also should be increase in term of showing/ appearance, design, and the message that will be delivered. Its advertisement should explain the brand excellence comparing with the competitors to prevent the customers who like variations.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important resource in a company. Therefore, the management of the company should be able to manage its human resources properly in order to achieve job satisfaction for employees. The research was carried out at PT. Kharisma Ide Nusantara Garmindo Cibitung – Bekasi which object was contract employees. Based on the list of employees absent and late, as well as production data known that there is an enhancement of contract employee’s absent and late, as well as the enchancement of reject goods from 2010 to 2011. This research aims to determine the level of contract employee satisfaction at PT. Kharisma Ide Nusantara Garmindo Cibitung – Bekasi which showed from compensation, control, the work itself, labor relations, and job guarantees.  Type of research is explanatory research. The data used in this study is primary data obtained using a questionnaire data collection instrument. The population in this study were all contract employees of PT. Kharisma Ide Nusantara Garmindo and 84 respondents as the sample that used purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used in this research is a method of Importance – Performance analysis. Based on the Importance - Performance analysis concluded that the average of total variable compensation is equal to 85.45%, which is included in the category of very satisfied, for control variable is equal to 79.10% is included in the category are satisfied, for the variable itself is the work of 75.91% is included in the category are satisfied, for the variables of employment is equal to 79.64% is included in the category are satisfied, for the variables of job security is at 75.13% is included in the category are satisfied. It means that respondents are generally satisfied with the performance of compensation, control, the work itself, labor relation, and job guarantees at PT. Kharisma Ide Nusantara Garmindo Cibitung - Bekasi. But there were respondents that have less satisfied with the opportunities to leave in company, the monitoring system by using the tools, employee transportation facilities, adequate working equipment, as well as retirement. Advice can be given to companies is to improve the performance of companies that are considered important by the employees, but still received less attention from the company.

Abstract

KJKS BMT BUS is one of principled Islamic financial institutions. One of the products offered by KJKS BMT BUS is a savings product. Any problems that occur in KJKS BMT BUS is the achievement of targets that can not be fulfilled. The factors thought to effect the saving decision is a savings product and service quality. If the attractive savings products and service quality the company is doing well, then the decision to save a high savings can be achieved. The purpose of this research was to determine whether there is influence between saving product and service quality of the saving decisions on KJKS BMT BUS district Lasem. The type of research is explanatory research. Sampling technique using the method of Simple Random Sampling that means the sampling a random member of the population without regard to strata in the population and members of the population is considered homogeneous. Therefore, the sample is totally contain 100 respondents. Data analysis technique used was simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis with the tools SPSS 17 for Windows programs. The analysis of this research prove that as partially savings products had positive effect of saving decision with determination coefficient value is 22.1%, and service quality had positive effect of saving decision with determination coefficient value is 30.9%. And simultaneously savings products and quality service had positive effect of saving decision with determination coefficient value is 38.9%. The conclusion of this research is that the product savings and service quality affect of saving decision a partial, and simultaneously saving product and service quality affects to the saving decision. Advice that can be delivered is KJKS BMT BUS should improve the quality of products to attract savings in order to save. KJKS BMT BUS also needs and further improve the quality of service to customers, although the quality of service is good.

Abstract

can affect the performance of the employees. Among them is the style of leadership, compensation and motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine how far the influence of the leadership style t and compensation hrough motivationon employee performance. The problem in this research is the company has already provided adequate compensation and leadership style that is able to communicate well and motivated employees to be more passion in work , but performance of employees assigned has never been achieved. This study uses the type of explanatory research studies on PT. Dwimatama Multikarsa, sampling technique used is Simple random sampling. The technique of collecting data was made through questionnaires. Data were statistically analyzed with simple linear regression, regression, t test, F test, and path analysis.The results of the calculation is Y2 = 11.316 + 0.267 + 0.597 X1 + 0.915 X2 Y1, indicating that the leadership style (X1), compensation (X2) and motivation (Y1)  positively influence  employee performance (Y2), which means that the better assessment of respondents' leadership style, compensation and motivation lead to higher performance for PT. Dwimatama Multikarsa, fertilizer packing unit, Tanjung Emas Semarang. It can be proved that the style of leadership and compensation through  motivation affect  employee performance. The conclusion of this study is that there is influence of leadership style, compensation and motivation on employee performance of PT.Dwimatama Multikarsa. Advice: Compensation generally has been good and in accordance with the minimum wage prevailing in the area, but the need for and type of work and duration of work , must be  kept in mind.

Govermance Corporation of Loan Public Bank BKK BOJA of Kendal Patebon Branch is goverman corpuration which run banking sector. Development of bank average in Kendal is fast, it causes hard competition. It also causes PD. BPR BKK BOJA of Kendal Patebon Branch increase it’s service quality for getting costumer’s as much as it can. This analysis result show that tangible variable tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and emphaty influence positive and significance of PD. BPR BKK BOJA of Kendal Patebon Branch.

Abstract

Beragam faktor dapat mempengaruhi konsumen dalam mempercayakan tempat berbelanja. Citra merek yang baik dapat dijadikan kekuatan oleh perusahaan ritel untuk menarik konsumen. Harga produk yang murah dan terjangkau dengan daya beli konsumen pun akan mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra merek dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Ramai Swalayan Peterongan Semarang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen Ramai Swalayan Peterongan tetapi tidak diketahui jumlah pastinya. Sampel yang diambil adalah 100 orang sesuai yang disarankan oleh Hair. Penyebarannya menggunakan dengan purposive sampling. Skala pengukurannya menggunakan skala Likert. Pada analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dan uji regresi berganda dengan program aplikasi SPSS 16.0. Dari hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa kategori citra merek sebesar 70 persen menyatakan baik. Kategori harga diketahui sebesar 46 persen menyatakan murah. Kategori keputusan pembelian diketahui sebesar 57 persen adalah tinggi. Variabel citra merek berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 15 persen. Variabel harga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 43,2 persen. Variabel citra merek dan harga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 17,4 persen. Hal ini berarti semakin baik citra merek, dan semakin murah harga yang ditawarkan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keputusan pembelian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, untuk meningkatkan keputusan pembelian sebaiknya Ramai Swalayan Peterongan menjaga citra mereknya khususnya dalam kenyamanan dan pelayanan, dan mempertahankan harga yang murah.

Abstract

Perum Perhutani is a company works in the sector of forest manufacturing covering the wood base and non wood base resource. The knowldge, skill and, detail abilities are important for the high productivity. The work of employee allows the good working environment, high motivation, comapny that runs well, so that the companys’ goal can be achieved. The trainings, compensation and work motivation should be taken into consideration in order to improve the achievement of the employee. The aim of this reserach is to prove the influence trainings, compensation, and work motivation both as stimolous and partial. The method of reserach used for this reserach is the explanatory research. The method was questionary method, interview, and library reserach. The total number of the respondent is 55 people taken with the propotional sampling method. The technique of analysis is the analysis of double linear regretion supperted by SPSS17 program for Windows. The result of this research is that the training, compensation, and motivation towards Perum Perhutani Unit 1 Central Java shows statisfactory result. The traiings, compensation, and motivation brings significant result towards the work achievements. The variable of trainings and motivayion gives very strong influence towards the work achivements by 66.3% and 33.7% was influenced by the other veriable. The result of this research is that the training, compensation, and motivation towards Perum Perhutani Unit 1 Central Java shows statisfactory result. The traiings, compensation, and motivation brings significant result towards the work achievements. The variable of trainings and motivayion gives very strong influence towards the work achivements by 66.3% and 33.7% was influenced by the other veriable. Suggestions can be submitted is improving the quality of equipment and comfort room, claim medical expenses of patients to be more easy. .And for further research are discussed variables other than training, compensation and motivation, among others, the work environment and work discipline

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have a strategic role in national economic development, because in addition to a role in economic growth and employment also play a role in the distribution of development outcomes. In the current economic crisis in our country some years ago, where many large-scale enterprises stagnated even stop their activities, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) proved to be more resilient in the face of crisis. But there are also disadvantages of SMEs in accessing information that is directly related to the condition alleged internal factors are overshadowed by the SMEs SMEs that actually has a considerable market share of the international world, has not been known to consumers.Batik is Indonesia's cultural heritage adi noble. Almost every region in Indonesia has its own art and batik motif. No exception Semarang city has Semarangan batik hallmark. Problems faced by SMEs Batik batik Semarangan Semarangan the presence of less known by the public because of constraints on marketing and human resources are limited.The purpose of this study was to determine the company's strategy in developing alternative business Semarangan Batik using SWOT analysis. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative data support. Engineering data collection obtained through in-depth interviews with as well as real data from internal and external field.From the results obtained using SWOT analysis 13 strartegi alternatives: (1) Using modern technology to increase production (2) maintain the quality of the product (3) develop a business using financial aid from the government (4) provide training to the employee (5) Recruiting experts (6) Accounting for administration and finance (7) Working with wholesalers batik (8) Increasing the promotion through the internet especially when held SEMAGRES (9) Offering products keorganisasi or work group (10) Improving the quality of customer service (11) Increase design creative and interesting motifs (12) Increase of capital by lending to the government through the state-owned (13) Increase distribution channels.
