Abstract

Public interest to tourism activity is always increasing, seen from the many deals offered by Travel Agencies in internet. Tourism spots seem to be a promising business to by playing the tourism management role. Karimunjawa Island has massive potentials that need to be exposed to public. The paper seeks to provide insights into the application of marketing communication strategies, with social media and word of mouth communication in tourism industry from the perspectives of its tourism potentials, evaluating their effectiveness for place branding management at Karimunjawa National Park. The specific purpose is to uncover the important role marketing communication with practice of social media and word of mouth to build the place brands by engaging potential visitors. The social media and word of mouth proved to be a major communication vehicle that spread across the region like wildfire. Tourism industry is one of the sectors that have beneficiated the most from the marketing communication strategies. As a result social media word of mouth have become an integral part of Karimunjawa National Park place branding.Qualitative case-study method generates understanding of how social media and word of mouth communicate the Karimunjawa National Park’s tourism potentials. In-depth interview allows exploration of how the marketing communication strategies with practice of social media and word of mouth used in place branding processes. As a result, the relationship between travel agent and customers is closer than ever, with businesses continuing to turn to social media and word of mouth to promote their services and reach customers in a more intimate and personal way.

Abstract

The research was based on globalization era and the growth of knowledge and technology that changed resource-based paradigm into knowledge-based paradigm. The hotel hopes that the application of personal knowledge, organizational learning, and technology will improve the hotel employee performance. Patra Jasa Semarang employee performance has been quite well, but still not optimal. In 2013. The objective of this research was to determine the effect of personal knowledge, organizational learning, and technology on Patra Jasa Semarang employee performance. The research based on explanatory type by collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique using census or saturated. The samples in this research were 108 respondents who are Patra Jasa Hotel Semarang permanent employee. This research uses qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The quantitative analysis using validity, reliability test, correlation coefficient, cross tabulation, simple linear and multiple linear regression, determination coefficient, and significance of t test and F test. According to the results of a simple linear regression analysis were found that the variable of personal knowledge, organizational learning, and technology have an effect on employee performance with a coefficient of 0,201, 0,465, and 0,452. Personal knowledge, organizational learning, and technology simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with F count > F table (12,004 > 2,691) with a significance score at 0,000 < 0,005.

Abstract

This research had purpose to analyzed some of the fundamental factors of financial ratios that could be used as a signal for investors to predicted stock prices on companies in a sector that is growth in Indonesia, which was Property and Real Estate sectors. Variables that examined in this study were the Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) on the stock price, either partially or simultaneously on the Property and Real Estate sectors companies that have been listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 - 2014 . This research was an explanatory research with a total sample of 34 companies x 5 years = 170 observation data from a total population of 494 companies from all sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and then conducted a purposive sampling technique in order to got the number of samples. The analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing using t test partial, F test simultaneously with the level of significance of 5% and a determination coefficient test. The analysis showed the data have fulfilled classical assumption, including normally distributed data , no symptoms of multikolinearitas, there were no symptoms of autocorrellation and heteroscedasticity. The regression results Earning Per Share (EPS), Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) were partially significant effect on stock prices. While Price Earning Ratio (PER) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) partially were not significant effect on stock prices. These five variables used in this study (EPS, PER, DER, ROA and ROE) simultaneously affect the stock price of 47.2 %. The variables that had the strongest influence was Earning Per Share (EPS). While the remaining 52.8 % influenced by other factors that were not examined in the research. As a sector that was developing fast, the Company is expected to managed its financial performance well so it could bring out huge profits to expand the business even more widely to the outside of Indonesia without had use a high amount of liabilities.

Abstract

The research was motivated by of the many various alternative options for transportation services, especially land transportation. However, bus still be alternative options for most of Indonesian people as a means of drive. The purpose of this research was to determine the customer’s satisfaction level on the service quality and the price of PO. Sindoro Satriamas’s customer. The type of research used was descriptive analysis research. The population were all passengers of PO. Sindoro Satriamas with sample of as many as 100 respondents with sampling technique used was purposive sampling and accidental sampling. The analysis of data used in this research was the Importance and Performance Analysis. Based on the Importance and Performance Analysis, then the conclusion that the average total for the service quality was 82,84% included in the satisfied category and the average total for the price was 80,17% included in the satisfied category too. Suggestions can be submitted to the company is improving the performance of quality service and price optimally so that created the suitability between the expectations of customers with the company's performance.

Abstract

The capital market is a market where long-term financial instrument traded. Capital market have an important role for the economy of a country because of the stock market can be a means for companies to raise funds from the public (investors) to be used for business development by investing in the financial sector such as stocks and bonds. Shares investment result are influenced by many factors, one of which is the macroeconomic factors. In conjunction with the Indonesian macro-economy, the bank acts as a control over the monetary policies issued by Bank Indonesia. Because of this, this study raised the BI Rate, Inflation and ICI as macroeconomic factors that allegedly affect the investment of result shares.This study aims to determinate effect of BI Rate, Inflation and ICI against the Result of Stock Investment in years 2010-2015. Methods of data collections using secondary data. Scale measurements using a measuring scale ratio. In linear regression analysis was used ang the significance test using SPSS versi 15.0From the analysis of data it can be concluded that BI rate has no significant effect on Result of Investment Stock. Inflation does not have a significant effect of Result of Investment Stock. ICI has no significant effect on Result of Investment Stock. Simultaneously, BI Rate, Inflation and ICI has no significant effect on Result of Investment Stock.The advice can be give that PT Taspen (Persero) can be also consider other factors in addition to the factors BI Rate, Inflation, and ICI as a material consideration in decision making to doing invest stock.

Abstract

Human resources is one factor that has an important role in improving employees performance. Given the important role of human resources, the company must pay attention to the factors that effect employees performance. One of the application is good leadership, so that employees can be persuaded to work according to standart and put aside their personal interests. And with motivation will also encourage to work more spirit.This type of research is explanatory research and its aimed to testing the influence between leadership and motivation towards employees performance. Population in this research was the employees in CV. Adhi Baskoro Perkasa Pangkalan Bun, the sampling technique used was sensus sampling. Sample in this research were 35 respondents. Yhe analysis technique is linier regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package For The Social Science) as a tool.The results showed that leadership and motivation have positive influence towards employees performance. Motivation has the most influence (29,8%) and the second is leadership (11,3%).

Abstract

Development of small-scale industries such as household and industrial industries large scale has been carried out in various regions across Indonesia, including Brebes. SME development is not just a problem of operational assistance or facilities. The development must be strategic and have a long term impact. In particular, the study discusses the salted egg IKM Brebes Limbangan Wetan village. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entrepreneurship, business training and networking of institutional cooperation to company performance. This type of research is explanatory research. Mechanical sampling using non-probability sampling. The number of samples of 51 respondents, using a sampling technique that is saturated with a certain considerations. This study uses qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis using validity, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, significance test (t test) using SPSS 23.0. The results of this study indicate that the company's performance can be explained by the entrepreneurship of 25.1% with a result of 4,525 t count> t table 2.009. The company's performance can be explained by the training effort of 25.1% with the results for 3434 t count> t table 2.009. The company's performance can be explained by a network of institutional cooperation with results of 20.6% amounting to 3.561 t count> t table 2.009. Suggestions in this research that employers should always promote creativity and innovation, it still needs to be improved information on training events held and an increase in the attention of the parties and agencies involved in the provision of funding and capital support.

Abstract

In performing of work activities, corporate culture has affects into efficiency and effectivity in a company. The existing culture in a company will influence the way of employee’s work and also employee behavior in the working environment. PT. TASPEN (Persero) is a company that work on government social employee’s insurance and retirement savings. PT. TASPEN (Persero) has been applied 5 corporate cultures, those are Integrity, Professionalism, Innovative, Competitive, and Growth. This research aims to know the effect of five corporate cultures such as Integrity, Professionalism, Innovative, Competitive, and Growth to employee’s performance. The type of this research based on explanatory research. The population are 71 employee’s at PT. TASPEN (Persero) Branch Office Semarang by using census sampling technique. The result shows correlation of integrity to employee performance is on average at 0,531 correlation score. Determination coefficient (R2) of professionalism to employee performance at 27,7%. Correlation of innovative to employee performance at under average by 0,321. Determination coefficient (R2) of competitive to employee performance is 30%. Then correlation of growth to employee performance is low with correlation score at 0,278. Simultaneously integrity, professionalism, innovative, competitive and growth have a significant influences to employee performance with F count > F table (10,145 > 2,354) with significant score at 0,000 < 0,005.

Abstract

The research was distributed by the fast development of information technology so that the required means of banking transaction that can do anything to help the banking transaction of costumer activities. ATM Cash Deposit is one of the types of services offered by Mandiri Bank.The purpose of doing research is to know the influence of the variabel quality of product, and brand image against the interest in using ATM Cash Deposits Mandiri Bank. Its population is user indepent Bank ATM machine service. The sampel as many as 100 respondents with the sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The analysis of the data used in this research using SPSS 18.8 program, where do test validity, reliability, determination of the coefficient of the corelation coefficient, regression analysis, simple and simple and double, and the test of significance (t-test and F-test).The results of this study indicate that the variable product quality and brand image has a positive influence against the interest in using ATM Cash Deposits Mandiri Bank.The suggestions can be submitted is a good idea to improve the quality of the ATM Cash Deposits Mandiri Bank and keeping the brand image in order to be always trusted by customers.

Abstract

Background of the study of this research is the development of manufacturing companies, especially tfor ice cream company. The most appropriateso that ads can be received positively by the society by choosing the celebrity endorser that had good and positive credibility. The purpose of this study is discovery to influence of credibility for celebrity endorser toward purchasing decisions for magnum ice cream product on student of Undipof the decision the purchase of products ice cream magnum on students of undip. The population in this research are students D3 and S1 are studying of Undip which are registered as an active students. The sampling techniques used multi stage sampling by determining the number of respondents as muny as 96. The result of this research showed that trustworthiness, attractiveness, and expertise became the part of credibility for celebrity endorser in giving the impact for Undip students to make a decisions for buying Magnum ice cream produtt. In regression analysis against variable attraction, they had the most dominant effect in the amount of 0.279. The suggestions that can be conveyed for this research are giving innovation flavors and design on magnum ice cream, making an attractive advertising concept, and expanding market distribution.
