Abstract

Brayan Sehat Clinic still uses a conventional reservation system that causes various obstacles, such as long queues, uncertain doctor schedules, patient data recording errors, and limited access to information. According to doctors at the clinic, the manual system often causes uneven schedule distribution and unbalanced staff workload. This research aims to design and build an online reservation system based on a website to improve service efficiency and patient comfort. System development uses the Waterfall method which consists of requirements analysis, system design with Use Case Diagrams and Entity Relationship Diagrams, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. The system is built using PHP programming language and MySQL as a database with architecture consisting of front-end, back-end, and database that are integrated with each other. Testing was conducted using black box testing approach on seven main modules to ensure functionality runs according to user needs. Test results show that the system is able to overcome reservation problems by providing login/registration features, real-time doctor and schedule information, online consultation reservations, dynamic schedule management, and secure user data management. This website is expected to support the clinic's digital transformation by providing 24-hour reservation access and potential development of telemedicine features to improve healthcare service quality.

Abstract

Currently, dental and oral health problems in Indonesia are still quite high, because according to the 2018 Basic Health Research Results, the largest proportion of dental problems in Indonesia are damaged/cavities/painful teeth. Oral diseases can cause pain, suffering, psychological obstacles, and social deprivation, which are very detrimental to both individuals and citizens, including children. Poor oral conditions, such as many cavities, can disrupt daily activities. The purpose of this research is that games created using the Game Development Lifecycle (GDLC) method can convey information to users, and when played by players, the gameplay stage will be examined using the Blackbox Testing method. The creation of an educational adventure game project plays an important role in increasing insight by utilizing technology to understand the science of dental and oral diseases. The party involved in this research is a dental expert to validate this game according to valid material. With this research, results can be obtained with a validity value on the educational game material and a feasibility value. Later, the percentage value will determine whether this game is good or bad, using the Game Development Lifecycle (GDLC) methodology. Of the two dentists who have validated the material in the Denterra educational game, the average result of expert validation reached 91% valid, meaning the material in this educational game is Very Feasible according to the Achievement Level Conversion Table. The results of Blackbox Testing reached a value of 94% or 237/252, with features that are less agree that the feature is functional for players are the "Level" button (Before completing the game), "Dental Plaque beats PD", and "Dental Crust beats PD". From the Blackbox Testing Analysis, it can be concluded that the functionality of the Denterra educational game is Very Feasible for use by the public. Then, the difficulty level at each level is appropriate for those with 3 players. The sample data that has been produced is not comparable to the student population in Banyumas Regency, due to time constraints and the environmental conditions of the subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to use the MDLC technique to create and develop interactive learning materials for the letters Hiragana and Katakana using Augmented Reality (AR) on Android devices. XI grade students participated in this study, which was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Ajibarang.  The stages in the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) - conceptualization, design, materials collection, assembly, testing, and distribution - were followed when developing the application. Users can easily navigate and interact with this application by using voice commands thanks to the Voice Command functionality.  A Black Box Testing approach was used for functionality testing, which showed that all features of the app functioned as intended without any issues.  Furthermore, the System Usability Scale (SUS) feasibility test had an average value of 82.67%, falling into the “B” category with a feasibility level of “Good” which users found acceptable. This AR application presents an interactive 3D visualization of Japanese letters, making it easier for students to understand the material and increase motivation and engagement in learning. Recommendations for future development include expanding the application to other materials, adding new features to enrich the learning experience, training teachers for optimal use of the application, and periodic evaluation based on user feedback.

Abstract

Amidst the increasing digital threats, understanding the basic principles of cryptography is crucial for data security education. While the Playfair Cipher remains a valuable classical algorithm, its manual use is prone to human error and is not compatible with modern computing systems. This research aims to address these issues by upgrading the Playfair Cipher through a software engineering approach, creating a web application that runs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Unlike previous research that focused on descriptive analysis, this research emphasizes the application of new technologies by designing a structured client-side architecture, resulting in seamless processing and server-side execution. The application features a responsive user interface (UI) designed for easy user interaction and immediate visual feedback while constructing key matrices and solving bigrams. The results show that the application achieves 100% accuracy in validating manual logic, especially when verifying the ciphertext "CVSMOBLIMAPUOYHDBY," and offers highly efficient computational performance. This research provides a powerful and interactive software tool that upgrades classical methods and offers an extensible solution for algorithm validation and data security education.

Abstract

In today’s digital era, the protection of personal and sensitive information has become a critical challenge due to the rapid growth of cyber threats and unauthorized access. Encryption remains one of the most effective strategies to ensure confidentiality and integrity of digital communication. This study proposes a dual encryption approach by combining two classical transposition algorithms: Rail Fence Cipher and Route Cipher. The Rail Fence Cipher rearranges plaintext into a zig-zag pattern across multiple rails, producing an initial ciphertext that obscures the original structure. The Route Cipher then strengthens security by placing this ciphertext into a matrix and reading it according to a predefined route, such as spiral or zig-zag, thereby generating a second ciphertext with higher complexity. The combination of these methods creates layered encryption that is more resistant to cryptanalysis compared to using either algorithm alone. Experimental implementation using Python demonstrates that the dual encryption strategy produces ciphertext that is significantly more randomized and difficult to predict. While this approach does not guarantee absolute security against modern attacks, it offers a practical solution for small-scale applications, educational purposes, and scenarios requiring lightweight encryption. The findings encourage broader adoption of encryption techniques and highlight the relevance of classical algorithms in understanding fundamental cryptographic principles and developing adaptable security strategies in the evolving digital landscape.

Abstract

PKBM Satria is a non-formal educational institution that still conducts its student registration and provision of learning materials manually. The main problems include incomplete data, swapped attachments, the risk of document loss, and limited learning access due to shared classroom usage. This research aims to develop a web-based information system using the Agile method to overcome these issues. The system's primary features include online registration, management of student and teacher data, and online learning. Black Box testing showed that all features function properly. The User Acceptance Test (UAT) results indicate the system is well-accepted by its users: admins gave an average score of 80% (very good), teachers scored 80.4% (very good), and students scored 67.1% (good). This study proves that implementing the Agile method is effective in producing an adaptive digital solution for non-formal education.

Abstract

The management of cooperation activities at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Riau was previously conducted manually and via disparate platforms, which created inefficiencies in document distribution and cooperation-duration monitoring. This study aims to design and develop a centralized cooperation information system to support administrative and monitoring processes within the faculty. The system was developed using the Prototype method and evaluated according to the ISO 25010 standard. The evaluation results indicate very high functional suitability, strong performance efficiency, high usability, and excellent scores in reliability, maintainability, security, portability, and compatibility. These findings suggest that the developed cooperation information system effectively improves the efficiency and accuracy of cooperation management and provides a comprehensive solution for centralized cooperation administration at the Faculty of Engineering

Abstract

Iceberg lettuce was selected as the research object because its leaves show clear visual responses to nutrient deficiencies, while visual inspection methods commonly used by small- and medium-scale growers remain subjective. This study aims to develop an automated detection system for nutrient deficiency using an autoencoder combined with a Multilayer Perceptron (MLP). The dataset was sourced from Kaggle and categorized into four classes: Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Healthy. The preprocessing stage included converting images from BGR to HSV, resizing to 128×128 pixels, normalizing to 0–1, and applying an 80:20 train–test split. Feature extraction was performed using the autoencoder (encoder, bottleneck, decoder), while classification was carried out using the MLP (input, hidden, and output layers). Evaluation using a confusion matrix showed an accuracy of 86%, precision of 89%, recall of 87%, and an F1-score of 88%. The system has been implemented in a user-friendly web application that allows users to upload images and obtain detection results instantly. In conclusion, integrating autoencoder and MLP proved effective for automated nutrient deficiency detection in iceberg lettuce, providing a more objective alternative to conventional visual diagnosis.

Abstract

The limited availability of structured and credible sources that interpret Drake’s song lyrics makes it difficult for listeners to fully grasp the meaning and emotional depth within his music. This study aims to develop a web-based lyric meaning generator capable of automatically interpreting Drake’s lyrics using the Transformer architecture. The system employs the LLaMA 3 model, which is fine-tuned through Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) to improve training efficiency while maintaining high semantic accuracy. The curated dataset consists of Drake’s song lyrics, their corresponding interpretations, and metadata such as album and reference sources. Data preprocessing and supervised fine-tuning were conducted using the Hugging Face framework in Google Colab. A  gradio-based web application was implemented with a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) mechanism to enhance contextual relevance during inference. Evaluation metrics, including Semantic Similarity and ROUGE-L, were applied to measure the model’s ability to produce coherent and contextually aligned interpretations. The results demonstrate that the fine-tuned LLaMA 3 model effectively generates accurate lyric meanings while reducing computational cost. Overall, this study highlights the potential of Transformer-based models to bridge the gap between music and natural language understanding, particularly in analyzing metaphorical and emotion-rich song lyrics.

Abstract

EMP Bentu Ltd – EMP Korinci Baru Ltd is a company operating in the natural gas sector and currently managing multiple on-site projects that require continuous monitoring. The project supervision process still relies on WhatsApp and email, resulting in fragmented communication, limited traceability of progress, and unstructured documentation management. These limitations hinder timely validation of vendor reports and complicate decision-making, highlighting the need for a centralized and systematic monitoring solution. This research aims to design and develop a web-based project monitoring system that provides real-time, structured, and integrated oversight of project activities. The Prototype development model was applied through iterative cycles consisting of requirement identification, rapid design, prototype construction, user evaluation, and refinement based on feedback. The resulting system integrates essential features such as project phase and activity management, vendor reporting modules, progress visualization through charts, a Gantt-based scheduling interface, and daily report approval workflows. System evaluation based on the ISO 25010 quality model demonstrates that the application improves the accuracy, accessibility, and timeliness of project monitoring across functional suitability, usability, performance efficiency, and security attributes. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance operational transparency and support faster, data-driven decision-making within the company. The study contributes a practical software solution tailored for energy-sector project environments, emphasizing the value of prototype-based development for user-centered system design.
