Abstract

The development of Indonesia aitlines grow rapidly. With low-cost base airline, there are still a lot of people who want to use airlines. Lion Air as low-cost airline market leader, still encounter a service failure such as delay. This study aims to analyzes the service recovery for service failure.            This study analyzes the dimension of service recovery. Distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice the effect to consumen satisfication and repurchase intention. The study was conducted on 120 respondents who qualified to provide for the completed questionnaires.            The result of this study show that all of independent dimensions have positive effect on dependent dimensions. Distributive justice have the strongest effect on consumen satisfaction and repurchase intention. The other variable have positive effect but not significant.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of product quality, customer value,and brand attitude to word of mouth intention by using a variable customer satisfaction as intervening on consumer Hemaviton Jreng in Tembalang sub-district.The population in this study is consumers Hemaviton Jreng who live in Tembalang sub-district. The sample in this study are 150 respondents by using purposive sampling method. Analyzer whom used in this research is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) via AMOS 20.0The results showed that product quality and brand attitude has positive  and significant  effect on customer satisfaction, variable product quality, customervalue, brand atiitude and customer satisfaction has positive and significant effect on word of mouth intention, and customer value has no effect on customer satisfaction

Abstract

Loan is the main source of income of a Conventional Commercial Bank, thus, Commercial Bank is vulnerable to a Non-Performing Loan. Given the global crisis in 1997, many banks were liquidated because of a high Non-Performing Loan in this sector. Although the bank's management has made efforts to prevent, but Non-Performing Loan still occur.               This study aimed to examine the effect of Size, loan to deposit ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Operating cost to Operating revenues ratio and Interest Rate of Loans to the Non-Performing Loan. Samples which is used in this study is the Conventional Commercial Bank registered in Bank of Indonesia for the 2011-2014 period. To obtain a valid study results, the sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling method . A sample of 27 banks was acquired. Analysis method applied in this research is the normality test, autocorrelation test, Test of multicoloniarity, Heteroskidastity Test, Test of Coefficient of Determination R2, Test of Statistic F, Test of Statistic t, and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis.            Based on the results of the partial testing carried out, Operating cost to Operating revenues ratio and Interest Rate of Credit have a positive influence on the Non-Performing Loan. While the loan to deposit ratio, size and Capital Adequacy Ratio have a negative influence on the Non-Performing Loan. Based on the test results of the coefficient of determination R2, variable Size, loan to deposit ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Operating cost to Operating revenues ratio and interest rate of 43.5% loans have effect against non-performing loans. While the rest as much as 56.5% influenced by factors other than variabel of research.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate how physical attractiveness on houses and the beauty of environment affect customer satisfaction and how the satisfaction affects the residents doing word of mouths.The samples of this research were the 320 residents of Perumahan Graha Padma in Kota Semarang using Non Probability Sampling technic. The methods of data analysis used here was quantitative analysis using reliability and validity, classic assumptions test, hypothesis test, determinant coefficients and also multiple linear regression analysis.The results showed that physical attractiveness on houses and the beauty of environment had positive effect on customer satisfactions, while physical attractiveness on houses, the beauty of environment and customer satisfaction had positive effect on word of mouth. From model 1, physical attractiveness gives positive effect on 0,373 while beauty of environment gives positive effect for 0,442 on customer satisfaction. From model 2 physical attractiveness, the beauty of environment and customer satisfaction influenced word of mouth intention around 0,434, 0,286 and 0,214. Thus implies that physical attractiveness gives biggest influence on word of mouth intention.

Abstract

In the span of a few months Honda Scoopy is still unable to compete with other matic product and lead to a decrease in sales. This study aimed to analyze the effect of product quality, brand associations and groups of reference on purchasing decisions Honda Scoopy motorcycle in Semarang.         The research sample of 100 people were taken from the population through non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique. The primary data research instrument was a questionnaire, which is then analyzed quantitatively.         Results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the variable product quality, brand associations, and the reference group has a positive influence on purchase decisions. The variables that have the greatest influence is the quality of the product followed by the reference group and that has the least influence is the association of the brand. T test results showed that each independent variable has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. This equation model has a F value of 68.548 with a significance level of 0.000. Results of the analysis showed 67.2% coefficient of determination indicates that the variable product quality, brand associations, and the reference group only explain the influence on purchasing decisions, the rest is explained by other variables that are not described in this study.

Abstract

Deregulation in banking industry, which is started with API policy and its derivatives in 2004, makes the industry change a lot, whether in its structure or interaction. This will affect banks performance in Indonesia banking industry. One of the most noted indicator is bank efficiency.  This study is analyzing the effect of competition, size, capitalization and loans intensity to conventional bank efficiency in 2008 to 2012 period. Banking efficiency will be measured with stochastic frontier approach (SFA) and banking competition will be measured with Lerner Index. Analysis of the the effect of competition, size, capitalization and loans intensity to conventional bank efficiency will be conducted using ordinary least square (OLS) data panel method.The result of this study shows that competition level that occurred in conventional banks gives negative effect to bank efficiency, while bank size gives positive effect to bank efficiency. Capitalization gives negative effect, but insignificant, while loans intensity, though insignificant,  gives positive effect to the efficiency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the factors that affect to return on assets (ROA) at manufacturing companies in 2010-2013. ROA is a dependent variable in this study, as an indicator of profitability. There are seven independent variables used, the average day's inventory, average collection period, average payment period, debt-to-equity ratio, current ratio, size, and growth.               Sampling techniques is purposive sampling with certain criteria, ie companies listed on the Stock Exchange 2010-2013 period, so there are seventy-six datas as sample of one hundred fifty two manufacturing companies in Indonesia during the period 2010-2013. The data is processed by using a multiple linear regression equation with odinary least squares method using the SPSS program.            The result showed that there is a negative and significant correlation between the average day’s inventory, average collection period, and debt to equity ratio to the ROA, while there is a positive and significant relationship between the Size to the ROA.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of consumer ethnocentrism and perceived value to purchase intention using brand image as mediator study case on consumer of Batik Semarang. This study used two independent variables are consumer ethnocentrism and perceived value, purchase intention variable as a dependent variable and then brand image variable as an intervening variable.            Simple random sampling method is used for this research. Sample were collected from 100 respondents who ever had experienced to buy Batik Semarang. Multiple regression analysis is used for this study.            The results showed that consumer ethnocentrism have positive effect to brand image, perceived value have positive and significant effect to brand image and consumer ethnocentrism, perceived value, brand image have positive and significant effect to purchase intention.

Abstract

In a country, the company has a function as one of the economic movement. While companies in other parties also have an impact on their business activities. Social care is seen to be concequences for companies on the surrounding environment in order to have a positive value in the eyes of the public. Meanwhile, the value of a company for those who want to invest, in terms of profitability alone. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility and Profitability toward the firm value with managerial ownership as moderating variables. This study was taken because there are differences in the results of previous research between the research with other research which caused unconsistency.This study uses secondary data. As for the sampling technique used purposive sampling technique taken from ICMD and the annual report of the Indonesia Stock Exchange including 32 companies that met the study criteria during the period 2011- 2013. The analysis method used by multiple regression model and regression moderation.By using multiple regression analysis, it can be seen that corporate social responsibility has no influence on corporate value, profitability is proxied by the ROA has a significant positive effect while the ROE does not affect the Firm Value. R-square value of 15.2%. Having given the moderating variables were analyzed with regression analysis resulted in corporate social responsibility moderation still does not have an influence on the Firm Value, ROA still have a significant positive effect on the Firm Value just a significance level fell by 0.2%, ROE has no effect, as the managerial ownership moderating variables were able to reduce the influence of ROA. Adjusted R-square value increased to 15.3% after a given moderating variables. The Firm Value is proxied by Price Book Value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) toward managerial performance. With the increasingly widespread use of TQM in the business world, many companies grow rapidly and be able to compete in the market. According to Gaspersz, TQM is defined as a way of improving performance continuously (continuous performance improvement) at each level of operations or processes, in all functional areas of an organization with the use of all human and capital resources available.This study was conducted using a survey of middle-class manager at PT. Arisamandiri Pratama, a manufacturing company, and then analyzed using regression analysis. This study analyzed whether there was an effect on customer focus, obsession toward quality, teamwork, and employee involvement and empowerment on managerial performance.The results showed that the only variable which shows significant positive effect is the teamwork variable, while the other variables had no significant effect. In a manufacturing company, teamwork is the subject of work in order to ensure the company's production levels maintained, and even able to increase. With manager closeness to one another, their task can be solved immediately. While focusing on customers which actually gave negative effect rejected because PT. Arisamandiri Pratama’s most of the activities are just assembling the items ordered from other companies. They only get orders from other companies to manufacture goods. Therefore, the company may not pay much attention to customers and better kept focusing on production activities.
