Abstract

This research is motivated by the research gap from previous studies, and it is known that there is a decline in the performance of employees. This study aims to analyze the effect of stressors and motivation on employee performance, and organizational commitment as an intervening variable. Data were collected from a sample of 76 respondents, who work as employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. Regional Division IV Central Java-Yogyakarta. Analysis of the data in this study using multiple linear regression techniques, and sobel test, to test the mediating effect, using SPSS program.The results showed, stressors variable negatively affect organizational commitment and performance of employees. Motivation positively affect on organizational commitment. Motivation and organizational commitment has positive influence on employee performance. Organizational commitment is a good mediating variable between stressors and motivation on employee performance. The coefficient for total determination in this study is 86.5%.

Abstract

This  Research  aims  to  analyze  the  influence  of  board  independent,  board    ofdirectors, institusional ownership, managerial ownership, and leverage to financial performance that measured by ROA. fThis research also used firm size as control variable. Case study on company non financial in Indonesian Stock Exchange in period 2009-2014.The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. There are 60 companies that used during the research. Analytical technique used in this research is multiple regression analysis by using SPSS 21. In this study the data were obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) 2009-2014, IDX Company Report 2009-2014, and www.idx.co.id. Analysis technique used Ordinary Least Square Regressio (OLS), statistical t-test and classic assumption test that includes a test of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedastisitas test, autucorrelation test.The result shows that board independent and managerial ownership haven’t influenced to ROA, board of directors and institutional ownership has positive influenced to ROA,  and leverage has negative influenced to ROA,

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of product quality and service quality in influencing customer value, in order to influence purchasing decision which customer value is used as an intervening variable between product quality and service quality to purchasing decision in Five Points Cafe at Semarang.            This research was conducted by taking samples using purposive sampling technique, those are consumers who have visited and bought Five Points product. The collection of data obtained from 100 customers Five Points by giving questionnaires which consist of open and closed questions. Respondents' answers to open-ended questions were analyzed qualitatively, and answers to the closed questions were analyzed by Multiple Linear Regression using SPSS program.             The result show that product quality and service quality has positive and significant impact on customer value with the regression value of 0.582 and 0.282, and the customer value has a positive and significant effect to purchasing decision with regression value of 0.391. Brand image has a positive impact not significant to Purchasing decision with the regression value of 0.150. First structure shown that 58.7% customer value variable can be explained by product quality and service quality variable. While the second structure shown that 24.1% purchasing decision can be explained by customer value and brand image. And for the rest can be explained by other variables that beyond research.

Abstract

Currently business competition furniture (furniture) lately relatively tight, so that each manufacturer must be able to provide the best quality products, so that consumers are satisfied, so that consumers willing to recommend to others to buy the production company. Purchasing decisions is the selection of two or more alternative choice of consumers in the purchase. If consumers have a choice between making a purchase and do not make a purchase or option to use the time, the consumer is in a position to take a decision. Based on the data, the average selling furniture CV. FURNITURE munawir Jepara decreased by 16,57 %. The decline was caused by various factors, such as product quality, design and features. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of product quality, design and features of the furniture purchase decisions. The population in this study is that consumers who buy furniture on the CV. Munawir FURNITURE, Jl. Raya Seokarno Hatta, Km 0,5, Tahunan, Jepara. The sample in this study was 100 consumers. The sampling technique in this study was done by using purposive sampling. Is the primary data type. Methods of data collection using the questionnaire. The analysis technique used is multiple regression. Results of analysis using SPSS showed that : Product quality proved positive and significant impact on purchase decision. Features proved positive and significant impact on purchase decision. Design proved positive and significant impact on purchase decision

Abstract

Development of a service industry not only promote the quality, timeliness and quality of service, but also requires the management of human resource is appropriate. This can be improved by considering factors such as, transformational leadership style, work motivation and organizational commitment. This study aims to explain how the effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation and organizational commitment to employee performance at PT TASPEN (Persero) Main Branch Office in Semarang.The population used in this study were all staff employees PT TASPEN (Persero) Main Branch Office in Semarang, amounting to 60 people. The sampling technique was conducted by sampling saturated. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of research to get the regression equation as follows: Employee Performance = -0,145X1 + 0,542X2 + 0,307X3Based on the test instrument, the indicators are valid and reliable. In the classical assumption, there are no symptoms multicoloniarity, does not occur heterokedastisitas, and normal distribution of data. The coefficient of determination shows the figure of 0,439, which means that the variable of employee performance is influenced by variables of transformational leadership style, employee motivation and organizational commitment of 43.9%. The results showed that work motivation and organizational commitment positive and significant impact employees performance of PT TASPEN (Persero) Main Branch Office in Semarang either partially or simultaneously. While the results of research on transformational leadership style negative and not significant impact employees performence of PT TASPEN (Persero) Main Branch Office Semarang.

Abstract

Turnover intention is the desire or intention of employees to qui from his job voluntarily according to their own choice. Turnover intention may be the first indication of employees who leave a job that can lead to high levels of employee turnover. organizations need to reduce it to an acceptable level. In order to manage the human resources, organizations have to pay attention to the pay satisfaction, provide organizational support, and help employees in their development.This research aims to analyze the effect of salary satisfaction, employee development and organizational  support  on  turnover  intention.    Data  was  collected  by  using  a  questionnaire. Population of this research are employees of PT Asuransi Tokio Marine Indonesia, using 77 employees as respondents.The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Result finds that pay satisfaction, employee development and organizational support negatively affect turnover intention.

Abstract

The capital market are the activities that deals with public offering, trade effect, a public company which relates to the effect that the issuance, as well as agencies and a profession which relates to the effect. In the capital market, corporation gaining relatively cheap funds, because the company didn’t pay the cost of capital or capital cost can be reduced. Of the securities often be sold in the capital market are stock. On the stocks manufacturing companies go public sector food and beverages there are fluctuations and then there are phenomenon gap between theories and existing reality. The purpose of this research is think about how the influence of  Return On Equity (ROE), Earning Per Share (EPS), Net Profit Margin (NPM) dan Market Value Added (MVA) on the stock price in the company manufacturing go public sector food and beverages.Population and samples in this study are all companies listed on the Stock Exchange of the year 2009-2013. The selection of the sample in this study using purposive sampling method with certain criteria. Type of dat is secondary. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis, the classical assumption (Normality Test, Test Multicollinearity, Autocorrelation test, Heteroskedastitity test), Multiple linear regression analysis, hypotesis testing (F – statistic test, t-statistic test, coefficient of determination test).The results showed that the ROE, EPS, NPM and MVA simultaneously affect the stock price. Partially this research found that ROE have a positive and significant effect on Stock Prices, EPS have a positive and significant effect on Stock Prices, NPM have a negatife and significant effect on Stock Prices, MVA have a positive and significant effect on Stock Prices.

Abstract

Aggressive stocks are stocks that have a high degree of volatility and risk in which this stock has a beta values above one. Which means that stock will increase rapidly if the state of the market has increased, and decreased sharply when the state of the market decline. This study aims to examine the influence of beta, size, market to book ratio, and profitability against aggressive stock return.            The sample used in the study were 15 companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), are included in the index are konsiten Compass 100, in the period 2009 to 2013, and has a high beta value of shares (β> 1). The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression, classic assumption test, normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, test the coefficient of determination (adjusted R2), the F statistic test, and t statistical test .            These results indicate that beta stocks have a positive and significant impact on aggressive stock returns. Variable size has a negative and significant impact on the variable aggressive stock return. However, there was no significant influence between the variables of market to book ratio and return on equity on stock returns aggressive

Abstract

This research has purpose to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable (research in PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 4 Semarang).The respondent for this research totaled 100 employees PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 4 Semarang. Technique of sample collection used Accidental Sampling and used the analysis of Linear Analysis, Path Analysis and Test Sobel.Research result showed that the transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on the job satisfaction, work motivation has a positive and significant influence on the job satisfaction, transformational leadership has a positive influence but is not significant on the employee performance, work motivation has a positive influence but is not significant on the employee performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Additionally, job satisfaction just capable mediating the relationship between work motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

Various consumers’ needs create different buying motives, so do the quantity. To understand the needs and tastes of consumers, a company should discern its consumers’ behavior. The consumer buying behavior also applies in the decision regarding the purchase of building materials. Along with the increasing number of stores selling building supplies, stores should pay  more attention to consumer behavior.The purpose of the research is to analyze the effects of location, service quality and perceptions of price on consumers’ buying decision. Populations in this research are consumers buying at TB Rajawali Demak, with the total sample of 100 respondents. The sample collection technique used is accidental sampling. The type of data used is primary data using questionnaire and secondary data using related literature. Data analyses tool used is multiple regression.Result of this research indicates that location service quality and perceptions of price positively correlated to consumers’ buying decision. The more strategic a location, the better service quality and the more affordable price, therefore increase the buying decision.
