Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain how the variable of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational culture influence to PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Witel Unit in Semarang employee performance. Data collection was done by questionnaire.The sample used in this research were employees of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Witel Unit in Semarang 80 people in total. The sampling technique was conducted using Simple Random Sampling. Mechanical testing of the data used in this research include the instrument test (validity and reliability test), classical assumption test (normality test, multicoloniarity, and heteroscedasticity test), multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination test (R2) using SPSS application.The result of this research shows that job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational culture influence positively and significantly to the employee performance. Variable used in this research give positive response, meaning the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational culture improving the performance of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Witel Unit in Semarang employee. Value of determination coefficient or R2 is 0,517, which means employee performance is affected by job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational culture amounted to 51,7%.

Abstract

Teacher is one of important component to determine the success of education program. Having a very important role to teach, teacher also has a huge responsibility towards the formation of character and morality of the students. Therefore, teachers are required to have expertise, responsibility and the spirit of sacrifice to provide a social service above personal interests. But, amid the many demands and duties of teachers, many problems experienced by teachers, particularly private teachers, especially around issues of welfare and employment status.This study was conducted to identify factors that motivate private teachers in their profession as well as to dig deeper about the hopes and desires of private teachers about their future. Search on the factors that motivate the private teacher starts from the identification of personal characteristics, biography and work values held by private teachers and their perceptions of the profession in which they live. This study uses a qualitative method and data collection was done by interview and observation so as to dig deeper into the facts about the teaching profession. The object of this research is a private teacher who has a service life of more than 2 years who served in Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah in Semarang City.The results showed that motivation of private teacher is influenced by their perception about teaching profession which is formed from the values they hold, personal characteristics and the biography of the informant.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the effect of variable Insider Ownership, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, and Firm Size on Dividend Policy.The sampling technique using purposive sampling method on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2011-2013. From 152 listed companies, acquired 15 companies that meet the specified criteria on the research period from 2011 to 2013. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression which includes classical assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test and test heteroscedasticity. While hypothesis tested by F test and t test.The results showed that the variables Insider Ownership and Debt to Equity Ratio have negative effect on Dividend Policy but not significantly. While the Return On Asset and Firm Size have positive significant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio. Based on the analysis of statistical test F significance value of 0.000 (less than 0.05), so it can be concluded that the variable Insider Ownership, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, and Firm Size jointly have a significant effect on Dividend Policy, Predictive ability of the four variables of the Dividend Policy is 54.9%, as indicated by the adjusted R-square of 54.9% while the remaining 45.1% influenced by other factorsnot included in the model study.

Abstract

This research is based on to the higher community awareness of local resources. Batik lasem is one of local in Rembang area. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of image of origin product (X1), perception price (X2), and the attractiveness of the product (X3) on customer value (Y1) and the implications for repeated purchase of  “Batik Lasem Sumber Langgeng”. This research use 5 variables, 16 indicators, and  4 hypothesis and by testing using 385 respondents. Analysis techniques the data used was structural equation model ( SEM ) of the amos 20.0. The data is the primary and uses a questionnaire with open and closed questions.The result of this research prove 4 hypothesis advanced by accepted and significant. The research show image of origin product, perception price and the attractiveness of the product significant positively affect to customer value and customer value significant positively affect to repeated purchase. In addition to that  sobel  test of the research indicated that the variable intervening also proved.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influece of the non-financial information (underwriter reputation and firm size), the financial information (Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio and Earning Per Share), and the ownership (retained shares by owner and foreign ownership) on underpricing at non-financial companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2008-2014. The population in this study consists of all IPO non-financial firm in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2014. After passed the purposive sampling method there were 77 non-financial companies obtained as sample. The data analysis methods used is multiple linier regression analysis and with the classical assumption test. The result of this research showed that underwriter reputation, Return 0n Assets (ROA) and Earning Per Share (EPS) have a negative and significant effect to underpricing, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a positive and significant effect to underpricing, while firm size, retained shares by owner and foreign ownership have no significant effect to underpricing.

Abstract

Quality is important for companies to be able to compete with other companies. The selection of proper management strategies made firm can increase the business performance. The strategy of integrated quality management or Total Quality Management (TQM) can be an option to maintain and improve the quality of the products of a company's business performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of the independent variables management leadership, customer focus, information and analysis, process management, product design, and continuous improvement of the dependent variable business performance on the mill  gondorukem turpentine  Perhutani Unit 1 Central Java. The population in the study was 187 employees from four factory gondorukem turpentine Perhutani Unit 1 Central Java. The sample used in this study as many as 130 employees from four factory gondorukem turpentine Perhutani Unit 1 Central Java. Model analysis using multiple linear analysis and tools to process data using SPSS 20 for windows. The result of the analysis indicate that management leadership, customer focus, information and anlisis, process management, product design, and continuous improvement have a positive and significant influence to business performance. The company's business performance will be improved if the company can improve the quality of its products. With the implementation of TQM, vision and mission can be achieved, decision-making and problem solving are influenced by all parties, The fulfillment expectation of consumers, and eliminating defective products so that waste can be eliminated and will increase profits for the company.
