Abstract

This research is aim to analyze the influence of member exchange (LMX) and perceived organizational support (POS) against affective commitment through employee of Mekarsari Hospital in Bekasi. The utilization of Affective Commitment can be an excuse for the hospital in improving the quality of health services that provided. The population used in this research is the imployees of Mekarsari Hospital in bekasi according to the characteristics specified. This research method is using multiple regression analysis technique by taking samples with total sampling method which the samples used were 120 respondents. Data obtained from the questionnaire that were distributed directly to employess then processed and analyzed using SPSS program. The results showed that the independent variables in this study, Leader- Member Exchange (LMX) has a positive and significant impact on Affective Commitment with the value of Standardization Coefficient in the amount of β 0, 404. Furthermore, the Perceived Organizational Support (POS) variable has positive and significant impact on affective commitment employees with a value of Standardized Coefficients in the amount of β 0, 263.

Abstract

Return on Deposit (ROD) is one of profitability measures in syaria bank. The purpose of this paper is to analyze determinants of Return on Deposit (ROD)   of syaria bank in Indonesia. Those determinant factors are Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), board size, Shari’a Supervisory Board size, bank size, market interest rate, and foreign ownership. The sample in this study consisted of 11 syari’a banks from year periode of 2011 until 2015. The sample was selected by purposive sampling method. The research hypothesis testing method of this paper uses multiple regression analysis. The results show that Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Shari’a Supervisory Board size  significantly influence Return on Deposit (ROD) in positive way. However, the results do not show any relationship between board size and  Return on Deposit (ROD) neither do banks’ size and Return on Deposit (ROD). Domestic sharia bank has better ROD’s performance than foreign sharia bank.

Abstract

Turnover intention is a serious problem and can not be taken lightly within a company. In the current era of globalization, there are still many companies that experience turnover intention problems, which causes many employees in the company to decide to leave or move from the company where they work today. One of the companies that experienced this problem was Bank Jateng. This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of salary satisfaction and career development on job satisfaction and to know the impact of both variables on turnover intention at PT. Bank Jateng.Data collecting method used in this research is a questionnaire with a sample of 100 employees of the Central Bank headquarters. The technique of sampling in this research using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique, by choosing the appropriate samples with the objects and problems to be developed in the research.This research uses multiple linear regression analysis method to analize the data obtained in the research.The results of this study indicate that the variable of salary satisfaction and career development have positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, both also give negative and significant influence to turnover intention of employees of Bank Central Java head office. Job satisfaction variable in this research, also give negative and significant influence to turnover intention of employees of Bank Central Java head office. These variables give effect of 28,8% to job satisfaction and 46,9% to turnover intention. The remaining 71,2% for job satisfaction variation and 53,1% for variation of turnover intention influenced by other variables outside this research. From the result of path analysis showed that job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of pay satisfaction on turnover intention with value of t table equal to 1,93, while for career development variable proven to be mediated by job satisfaction with t table equal to 5,41.

Abstract

Competitive resource management is an important element of the company. The management of human resources will impact on the company's strategic plan. The success of corporate investment in human resources is determined by the success of employee retention strategies implemented.This study aims to determine what factors affect the retention of employees. After the observation of 15 previous studies on employee retention, 14 factors have been found to affect employee retention in various cultural contexts. These 14 factors are then selected through brainstorming of 8 employee retention experts consisting of 5 practitioners and 3 academics.The result of this research is that there are 6 factors that have the most influence on employee retention that is reward, compensation, leadership, career development, training and development, and job satisfaction. Then the best ranking achieved by reward.

Abstract

The increasing demands of financial services and technology has led the bank to increase their service to compete in the banking industry. Other service that bank provide by now will increase non interest income and led to bank income diversification. This research was conducted to examine the effect of bank income diversification (non interest income), Growth of assets (ΔTA), Loan to asset, CAR, and Loan loss provision to asset towards bank risk measured by SDROA (Deviation Standard of Return on Asset) and SDROE (Deviation Standard of Return on Equity). We use commercial banks that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) through period 2011-2015 as a sample of the research and based on purposive sampling, we selected 24 banks as the sample of this research. We use multiple regression analysis to examine the effect.The Result indicate that some determinants of Bank Risk such as NNII, Loan to Asset, and Loan Loss Provision to Asset affect SDROA (Standard Deviation of Return on Asset) as a risk measure, and NNII, ΔTA, and Loan Loss Provision to Asset affect SDROE (Standard Deviation of Return on Equity) as other risk measure.  However, Capital Adequacy Ratio do not affect bank risk that measured by SDROA and SDROE in this research by another variables which not include in these research model.

Abstract

Buka Buku is the only business that is engaged in education services that are presented to students for tutoring services. Buka Buku itself is currently focused on Undip, exactly to help academics students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Undip. However, Buka Buku experienced a gap between S-I and D-III students in students purchasing power. It affects the difference of class proportion between S-I and D-III students. This study aims to determine the behavior of students that occur today, and the impact of student behavior on the pattern of decision making use of tutoring services Buka Buku. In addition, this study aims to know the right way in serving students, especially the segment of students Diploma III.This research uses Theory of Planned Behavior theory. There are three main variables in the theory in determining the intention of behaving a person, where the intention is to form a person's behavior.  These  variables  are  attitude  toward  the  behavior, perceived  norm,  and  perceived behavioral control. Methods and approaches conducted in this study using qualitative research methods with case study approach. The preparation of this research using Patton model with Miles and Huberman model analysis technique.The result of the research shows how the student behavior, to know the factors causing student decision making. In addition, this study presents the decision making pattern of the use of Buka Buku services based on the relationship between the factors that make up student decisions. Therefore, an effective strategy can be done in serving the student segment at the Faculty of Economics and Business Undip, especially the D-III students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether price, product quality and brand image influence the purchase decisions in UD. Ikan Mas. This research is motivated by a decrease in the number of consumer and selling intensity in UD. Ikan Mas.The populations used in this research was a UD. Ikan Mas Consumer. The collection of data by using a questionnaires with a number of samples 100 respondents who buyed product in UD. Ikan Mas. This research method, using the technique of non-random sampling with purposive sampling method. Data obtained from questionnaires, then processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis through the SPSS 23 software.Based on the result of the research, it was found the regression equation as follows:Y = 0,384 X1 + 0,238 X2 + 0,312 X3The result of this research shows that all independent variables are the price, product quality and brand image has a positive effect on the dependent variable that is the purchase decision by using T test. Then through F test shows that the three independent variables are proper to examine the dependent variable. Adjusted R Square of 0,753 shows that the independent variables can explain 75,3% the dependent variable that is purchase decision, while the remaining 24,7% is explained by other variables outside of variable that used in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of stock investing is to seek profit in the future. This research was conducted in order to examine the influence of book to market equity, firm size, market value added (MVA), momentum, and trading volume on stok return.  Sample of this study used companies that registered on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2012-2016.This research was made because there are differences in results between studies with each other. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling method covering 24 companies as samples. The analysis used multiple regression, which is preceeded by a test consisting of the classical assumption test for normality, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. Hypothesis testing is using F test and t test. The result of this research show that book to market equity had significant negative effect on stock return as well as trading volume variable had significant positive effect on stock return. In addition, the results did not support that firm size, market value added (MVA) and momentum significant effect on stock return. Moreover it found that the value of the adjusted R square is 19,1%. This means that 80,9% is explained by other variables outside the model

Abstract

Traveloka is an online site that provides flight reservation services and hotel reservations. However, in 2016 Traveloka for hotel room bookings decreased the number of purchases. This study aims to determine the influence that affect customer satisfaction and its impact on repurchase intention.This study uses 7 variables, which is service quality, brand image, advertisement, price perception, customer satisfaction, trust and interest in repurchase intention. Analysis technique used in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS) 2.0 program.The research results of this study indicate that there are two factors that affect customer satisfaction. First, by providing good service quality. However, the most influential process of repurchase interest is the quality of service that affects the brand image as one of the determinants of success in order to repurchase intention.

Abstract

Tegal Regency’s Metal Industry is one of the oldest metal industries in Indonesia. This industry began in Dutch colonial era, to meet the demand for equipment & spare part for sugar factory, rail way, shipping and textile factories. Metal Industries in Tegal Regency continues to grow until now, but few years back this industries experience decline, this is due to the difficulty to obtain raw materials and a lot of abroad products that enter Indonesia. This study aims to determine the relationship between entrepreneur orientation, human resource competencies, innovation and supplier resource capabilities to competitive advantage of metal industries in Tegal Regency.Using questionnaire to metal Industry owner in Tegal Regency and regression analysis, these four variables (entrepreneur orientation, human resource competencies, innovation and supplier resource capabilities) were tested whether they had an influence on competitive advantage, and how much influence they had.The results showed that the variables of entrepreneur orientation, human resource competency, innovation, and supplier resource capability affect the competitive advantage of metal industry in Tegal Regency either partially or simultaneously. However, only three have significant affect, namely supplier resource capability, human resource competence and innovation.
