Abstract

Employee performance decline at PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution Office of Central Java and DIY in the first semester of 2016. In addition there is a research gap on the relationship of work environment, leadership quality and work motivation on employee performanceThis study aims to determine the effect of work enviroment, quality leadership, and motivation work on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution Office of Central Java and DIY. The sample inthis study is employess of PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution Office Central Java and DIY that amounted to 74 people with using random sampling technique.Data tabulation in this study includes validity test, reliability test, clasiccal assumption test, multiple linier regression analysis, T test, F test, and coefficient of determination test. The result of this research shows that the independent variable that is work environment (0, 386) leadership quality (0.251) and work motivation (0.264) have positive and significant relation to dependent variable that is employee performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decrease in customer satisfaction of Club mineral water that can influence the loyalty of Club mineral water customers. Based on the problem, this research aims to examine the effect of product quality and brand image on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as the intervening variable.This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to Club mineral water customers in Semarang with purposive sampling method. The samples used were 100 respondents of Club mineral water customers. The data were processed using software SPSS 23, and the analysis used were multiple linear regression analysis and test of Sobel to test the mediation effect of the independent variable to the dependent variable.The result showed that product quality and brand image have positive and significant effect to customer satisfaction with the result of Y1 = 0,331 X1 + 0,463 X2, and brand image, product quality, and customer satisfaction have positive and significant influence to customer loyalty with the result Y2 = 0,206 X1 + 0.318 X2 + 0.311Y1. The result of the Sobel test shows that there is influence between product quality to customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as the intervening variable. Similarly, the brand image variable has an influence on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. This is because of the value of t arithmetic higher than t table.

Abstract

There are still some differences in the results of research on the impact of holiday on stock returns. Other than that there are still few researches who only specifically examine the effects of islamics holidays against abnormal return. This research aims to analyse the influence of Islamic holiday to abnormal return of shares before and after Islamic holiday. The holidays used are Maulid Nabi, Isra’ Mi’raj, Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, and New Year Hijriyah. The study period used from 2012 to 2016.This research uses event study. Research population used all company which listed in Jakarta Islamic Index. Technique of choosing sample is used purposive sampling and obtained 15 company. The data used in this research obtained from website KSEI, website BEI, and online trading system of Mirae Asset Securities. Determination of estimated return using market adjusted model. Parametric analysis tets tools used to test the hypothesis in this study are descriptive statistic, normality tets, and paired sample t-test.The result of this study indicate that the Maulid Nabi holiday and Idul Fitri holidays affect the significant abnormal return difference between before and after the holiday. While the holidays of Isra’ Mi’raj, Idul Adha, and New Year Hijriyah hove no effect on the difference of abnormal return of stock before and after the holiday.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and working motivation on the performance of the workers. In this research, the researcher analyzes the performance of the workers on Financial Management Board of Kendal County by using independent variable, such as transformational leadership and working motivation. This research was conducted on Financial Management Board of Kendal County. Samples were selected by applying Saturated Sampling method (Census Sampling). Data was obtained by directly giving questionnaires to 100 employees of Financial Management Board. The analysis of data used double linear regression method by SPSS (Statistic Product and Service Solution) 16 program.The result of the analysis shows that transformational leadership has positive and significant impacts to the workers’ performance. Researcher suggests to increase more variable and extend the population in the future research.

Abstract

SPBE PT. Tunas Sejati Cilacap is one of the filling plant companies in Indonesia that performs the transportation, filling and delivery of LPG to the agents of PT. Pertamina which sells LPG. To be able to meet the needs of transportation, filling and delivery of LPG to agents in Cilacap and surrounding areas of course SPBE PT. Tunas Sejati Cilacap demands that employees can improve their performance. One way is to provide training so as to create quality human resources, in addition to the importance of work discipline also plays an important role in developing the potential of employees to optimize the company's activities to achieve goals.The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of training and work discipline on employee performance with job satisfaction as intervening variabel. The data collected in this research using questionnaires distributed to respondents and samples used in this study is saturated samping technique with total samples of 67 respondents. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis method. The data testing technique used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, coefficient determination test, F test, t test and sobel test to test the mediation effect.The results of analysis from this research result that training and work discipline have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, training and work discipline have a positive and significant impact to the employee performance, job satisfaction have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, job satisfaction mediates the effect of training on employee performance, and job satisfaction mediates the effect of work discipline on employee performance.

Abstract

Money as payment tools has developed rapidly over time. The development of money is also affected by the development of information technology, that created electronic money. Transaction volume and transaction value of electronic money has increase recently with the increasing of customer needs on payment tools. Many factors influence the consumer's desire to use electronic money. This research’s objectives are to test the effect of perceived benefits, perceptions of ease of use, trust and perceptions of risk to interest in using electronic money instruments. Taking a sample of 120 respondents from selected enrolled student of the school year 2016/2017 from Management Department Faculty of Economics and Business Diponegoro University. This research using nonprobability sampling technique for selecting respondents. The method of data analysis used is multiple regression analysis, where the analysis consist of validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t test, and F test. The result shows that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and trust have positive and significant effect to intention to use, while perceived risk has negative and not significant effect to intention to use.

Abstract

This research is based on the increasing of occupancy at Lor In Surakarta Hotel is not balanced with sufficient human resources. Inadequate number of employees, insufficient human resource competence, and communication systems that are often hampered by the weather result in quality of service. This study aims to examine the effect of total quality management consisting of customer focus, employee engagement and empowerment, education and training, continuous improvement, and leadership towards managerial performance.Determination of sample in research using slovin method which involves 60 respondents from all population of Hotel Lor In Surakarta. The method of analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression.The results show that customer focus, employee engagement and empowerment, education and training, and continuous improvement are positively charged to managerial performance. While the leadership proved to have no effect on managerial performance.

Abstract

Diminished performance from employee performance PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., area of south jakarta  in 2012 to 2013 to make the authors examine employee performance. This research is purposed to analyze the effects of Leader trust, non physical environment, and reward on employee’s performance. The phenomenon of fluctuation employee’s performance rate at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., area of south jakarta indicate that the employee’s performance is not maximized. This study used three independent variables there are Leader trust, non physical environment, and reward. This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of Leader trust, non physical environment, and reward on employee’s performance at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., regional division, area of south jakarta. Data collection methods used in this study are questionnaires using non random sampling method, the sample used in this study were permanent employees of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., regional division, area of south Jakarta many as 93 respondents. This study uses data analysis methods include validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient determination test, F test and t test. The result showed that the variables of Leader trust, non physical environment, and reward affect positively on the employee’s performance of employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., regional division, area of south Jakarta. These variables have an impact of 28,6% on employee’s performance. While the remaining 71.4% is influenced by other variables outside of this study

Abstract

KSPPS TAZAKKA Bojong is one of sharia financial services cooperatives (KJKS) which was established in Bojong District, Pekalongan Regency. The growing number of cooperatives nowadays in Bojong sub-district has made the competition tighter so that the growth target of customers is not achieved and there is a decrease in the financing partners. One way to win the competition is by improving the quality of service continuously to fit the expectations of costumers. This study discusses the application of Quality Function Deployment (QFD), which aims to determine customers’ needs so that each functional area and organization / company level can act towards existing functional services.Data in this research was collected by survey method with questionnaire tool to KSPPS TAZAKKA Bojong manager and 50 cooperative customers as respondents. This Study applied  method used is the Quality Function Development (QFD) Method.The research showed the priority scale of customer requirements that should be prioritized in the improvement of the service that is the customer requirements of the company's credibility and reputation of the company. This research also showed the sequence of technical attributes of KSPPS TAZAKKA Bojong in order to satisfy the customer that si The technical attribute of routine briefing for excellent service obtained from the calculation of absolute weight and relative weight.

Abstract

The production processes are closely related to operations management. Operations management is the key driver of production processes, therefore, operational performance is fundamental for the sustainability of the company. Various production problems which encountered most of bags manufacturer in Ciampea, Bogor Regency, indicates the need for further study. This study purpose is to analyze the impact of Total Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, and entrepreneurial orientation on operational performance.Data collection technique used in this study are questionnaire. The sample is selected using simple random sampling technique and the number of respondents selected is 58 respondents. To analyze the impact of independent variables on dependent variable, multiple linier regression analysis is used.The result of this study showed that Total Quality Management have positive impact on operational performance (first hypothesis accepted). The second hypothesis which state that Supply Chain Management have positive impact on operational performance is accepted as well. The third hypothesis which state that entrepreneurial orientation have positive impact on operational performance is accepted. The coefficient of determination test result stated that all three independent variables have an impact of 53% on operational performance. Bag manufacturers in Ciampea, Bogor Regency are recommended to develop their employee, integrate with suppliers, and not too depend on intermediary traders.
