Abstract

One of the implementations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education is the KKM (Student Work Lecture) activity whose main activity is to carry out community service. The KKM activity for the 2024-2025 academic year, especially group 19, was carried out in Sindanglaya Village, Cinangka District, Serang Regency. In this year's KKM activity, students have a special program, one of which is the manufacture of VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) using the incubation method. This method was chosen because it is very easy to do, without additional materials, without using heat energy so that it is expected that the main content will still maintain its quality. The manufacture of VCO was chosen because of the geographical location of Sindanglaya Village which is on the coast so it is very easy to get the raw material for making VCO, namely coconut. The VCO manufacturing activity was carried out on August 7, 2025 by socializing the manufacturing method, then conducting direct practice of making VCO which was attended by 20 participants from Teachers, Parents, Students of RA Al-Khairiyah branch and residents around Sindanglaya Village. This activity can provide education on how to obtain higher quality VCO and can also provide business opportunities for the local community, so that they can increase processed coconut products that have higher economic value.

Abstract

A community service activity themed “Internalization of Maqashid al-Syariah Values in Understanding the Obligation of Hajj Based on the Qur'an” was held at the Al Akbar Mosque in Surabaya on Thursday, November 6, 2025. This program was attended by lecturers, students of STAI Al-Akbar, and the community around the mosque. The main objective was to help participants understand the obligation of Hajj not only as a ritual of worship, but also as a practice that has a strong foundation in the Qur'an and contains messages of benefit in accordance with the principles of Maqashid al-Syariah. This activity used a community education approach through a combination of interactive lectures, group dialogues, and guided reflection. Lectures were used to provide a textual foundation of the verses on Hajj and an explanation of the Maqashid al-Syariah framework. Group dialogues helped participants link these concepts to their daily religious experiences, while guided reflection sessions encouraged them to develop a deeper understanding of the values of protecting religion, soul, mind, offspring, and wealth in the Hajj pilgrimage. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the objectives of Sharia in the obligation of Hajj and a growing awareness of the wisdom of this worship for personal and social life. This program is expected to become a model of religious education that strengthens text-based Sharia literacy and values for the mosque community.

Abstract

A harmonious family life depends heavily on a couple's ability to communicate. Unfortunately, many couples find it difficult to maintain healthy interactions, so that small problems often escalate into conflicts that lead to divorce. In Indonesia, the divorce rate continues to rise each year, a phenomenon that underscores the importance of concrete efforts to strengthen communication skills within the household. This initiative takes the form of educational videos on healthy communication patterns, which are then distributed via the Instagram platform. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that the public will gain a deeper understanding of how to build open, empathetic, and supportive communication within the household. The implementation of this activity is expected to help reduce the potential for conflict and provide couples with the tools to maintain household harmony, while also serving as a reference for individuals preparing for marriage.

Abstract

Green accounting has become increasingly critical as organizations face mounting pressure to address environmental sustainability. However, assessing the maturity of green accounting practices remains challenging due to the lack of structured frameworks. This study proposes a green accounting maturity model based on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), adapting its five-level maturity framework to evaluate organizational capabilities in environmental accounting. The model integrates three key dimensions: measurement and recognition, reporting and disclosure, and integration and governance. By providing a systematic assessment tool, this framework enables organizations to benchmark their current state, identify improvement areas, and develop actionable roadmaps toward advanced green accounting practices. This theoretical contribution bridges the gap between process maturity models and environmental accounting literature, offering both academic insights and practical utility for organizations, regulators, and stakeholders in advancing sustainable finance and corporate environmental accountability.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the health sector is a strategic step to increase literacy and access to public health services, including for the women's community such as members of the Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah Bansir Darat Branch. Although digital health apps have grown rapidly, there are still many mothers who find it difficult to use them due to low digital literacy and limited understanding of technology. This service program arises from the need to address the gap in the use of health technology, especially among women who play the role of the main manager of family health. The purpose of this service is to provide training and introduction to digital-based health applications to Aisyiyah members, so that they are able to independently access information, conduct health monitoring, and consult with medical personnel through digital services. The implementation method includes socialization, interactive hands-on training, practical assistance in using the application, and continuous evaluation. This approach is combined with the provision of visual, audio, and collaboration guides with local health centers for the sustainability of post-training support. The output targets of this activity include increasing participants' digital literacy, independence in managing application-based health, the formation of a health technology-aware community, and scientific publications in accredited national journals.

Abstract

Every Sufi scholar develops a particular conceptual framework for the spiritual journey toward God. This community service activity aims to elaborate the Sufi concepts of Shaykh Ibrahim Al-Matubuli as presented in Minahus Saniyah, a work attributed to Shaykh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani, and to provide participants with an understanding of their relevance to contemporary spiritual and ethical life. The activity employed two main methods: lectures and question-and-answer sessions. The lecture method was used to systematically present the fundamental concepts of Sufism, while the question-and-answer method facilitated interaction, clarification, and deeper understanding among participants. The activity was conducted smoothly and without significant obstacles. The discussion identified seventeen teachings attributed to Shaykh Ibrahim Al-Matubuli, including steadfast repentance, spiritual discipline through abandoning excessive engagement with permissible matters, avoiding ostentation (riya’), preserving others’ feelings, consuming lawful food, overcoming excessive shyness, avoiding dishonesty in work, controlling the nafs, practicing seclusion (uzlah), maintaining silence, performing night prayers, participating in congregational prayers, avoiding injustice, increasing istighfar, cultivating appropriate modesty, maintaining proper etiquette (adab), and consistently engaging in remembrance of God (dhikr). These teachings demonstrate that Sufism emphasizes not only spiritual purification but also ethical conduct, self-discipline, worship, and social responsibility. The activity is expected to contribute to participants’ understanding and practical application of Sufi values in everyday life.
