Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sistem pengajaran Al-Qur'an yang diterapkan di Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta. Sebagai kitab suci terakhir yang otentisitasnya dijamin Allah, Al-Qur'an memiliki peran sentral sebagai pedoman hidup bagi umat Islam, dan mempelajarinya merupakan kewajiban yang dijanjikan pahala oleh Allah. Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam, sebagai salah satu institusi pendidikan modern, menjadikan Al-Qur'an sebagai "mahkota pondok," yang mendorong penelitian ini untuk mengkaji sistem pengajarannya secara mendalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi lapangan, yang berlokasi di Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh staf pengajar dan santri, yang totalnya berjumlah 273 orang, dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel (penelitian populasi). Namun, sampel untuk pengumpulan data melalui wawancara secara spesifik adalah pimpinan pondok, staf pengasuhan santri, dan 10 staf pengajar Al-Qur'an. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjelaskan sistem pengajaran Al-Qur'an yang teratur dan terprogram di pondok tersebut, khususnya melalui sistem pembelajaran 5 tingkatan (marhalah). Sistem pengajaran ini dirancang untuk memastikan bahwa setiap santri mampu memahami dan mengamalkan Al-Qur'an, sehingga bisa menjadi pengajar Al-Qur'an yang berkualitas bagi masyarakat setelah lulus.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Arabic speaking skills (maharat al-kalam) through the implementation of the muhadatsah yaumiyah method among 10th-grade female students at SMA Qur’anic School of Al-Muthi’ah, Sukoharjo. The research was motivated by students' low verbal communication ability and the ineffectiveness of the previously applied teaching methods. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles using a qualitative descriptive approach and involved seven students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the muhadatsah yaumiyah method enhanced students' confidence, speaking courage, and active participation in class. All students met the learning mastery criteria, indicating that the method is effective and suitable to be applied as a communicative and interactive strategy for teaching Arabic.

Abstract

Arabic language learning plays a crucial role in Islamic education, particularly in understanding the Qur'an. At the Qur'anic School of Al-Muthi'ah, the Qowa'idul Lughoh Al-'Arabiyyah is used as the primary teaching material. However, differences in student backgrounds and the lack of comprehensive evaluation pose challenges. This study employed descriptive qualitative research with interview, observation, and documentation techniques to evaluate teacher performance in Arabic language learning. The results showed that teachers had conducted regular and structured evaluations, but student understanding of the material remained low. While seventy percent of students generally understood the material, only sixty percent demonstrated in-depth understanding. This situation forced teachers to repeat the material, which resulted in delays in achieving learning targets. Therefore, additional strategies such as more contextual learning and increased use of Arabic in students' daily activities are needed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the Arabic language learning process among first-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Sudirman Mindi Sedayu Karanganyar in the 2024/2025 academic year. The main focus of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Arabic language learning in the early grades of madrasah ibtidaiyyah, including the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher uses an inductive method to draw conclusions from the collected data related to the Arabic language learning process in the first grade of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. The results of the study indicate that the Arabic language learning process in first grade is based on the K.13 curriculum, but it still faces challenges such as the lack of variety in teaching methods, the high number of students who cannot read the Quran, as well as the lack of knowledge and skils of teachers in teaching Arabic. Learning evaluation is conducted gradually through written assessments and direct observation. This study recommends improving teacher training and providing learning media that supports student characteristics.
