Abstract

Inflation is defined as the general price trend. The tendency here is that the rise is not a momentary one. High inflation and uncontrollable rate can disrupt banking efforts in mobilizing public funds. This is because the high inflation rate causes the real interest rate to decrease. Such facts will reduce the public's desire to save so that the growth of banking funds sourced from thecommunity will decline. This study aims to determine the effect of inflation on the profitability of Bank Syariah period 2012-2014. The results of this study indicate that inflation has no significant effect on the profitability of Sharia Banks in the period 2012-2014. It can be seen from the hypothesis test where tcount is smaller than ttable and Sig> 0,05. No significant effect is because Islamic banks are not obliged to pay returns in a fixed amount, but based on the percentage of profits earned. Also supported by the correlation value of 0.161 which means the relationship can be ignored. The coefficient of determination between inflation onROA with a value of 2.6%. The rest, profitability is influenced by other factors namely CAR, Operational Efficiency, FDR, NPF and Exchange Rate (Exchange Rate) Abstrak Inflasi didefinisikan sebagai kecenderungan kenaikan harga secara umum.

Abstract

The era of globalization demanding transactions as quickly as possible, plus a shift in the culture of the people who are headed for the less cash society, demands the world of banking to continue to innovate technology in the field of digital transactions such as sharia (Islamic credit card). Sharia card basically belongs to the needs tahsiniyyat, which can familiarize humans to the best habits. But if it turns out in practice to cause ugliness, it must be stopped and abandoned. Because if sharia card does not exist, does not mean to harm the harmony of human life as when the absence of things that are dharuriyyat. Nor is there anydifficulty in the absence of a hajiyyat. Sharia law is permitted, with the provision of no interest, is not used for transactions that are inconsistent with sharia, does not encourage excessive spending (istraf) by means of, among others, a maximumceiling of expenditure, the main cardholder must have the financial ability to repay in due course; not using facilities for things that are contrary to sharia. Keywords: credit card, sharia card, Islamic law.
