Jurnal Destinasi Pariwisata diterbitkan oleh Program Studi S1 Destinasi Pariwisata Universitas udayana dan terbit sebagai tuntutan dunia akademis terutama di bidang kepariwisataan yang selalu dinamis. Perkembangan sektor pariwisata berawal dari dikenalnya suatu destinasi wisata termasuk aspek perencanaan, penataan, pengelolaan dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya sehingga menjadi kajian menarik para pemerhati pariwisata. Hasil dari kajian-kajian tersebut memerlukan media ilmiah untuk diketahui khalayak sebagai publikasi ilmiah, termasuk merupakan ”branded” yang menunjukkan kuantitas dan kualitas suatu perguruan tinggi. Melalui jurnal Destinasi Pariwisata, hasil penelitian, survei dan tulisan ilmiah populer kepariwisataan dipublikasikan sebagai salah satu upaya memberikan sumbangan dari dunia akademis kepada sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

Sababay Winery is a lokal wine company that has wine tourism which focus on winery tour. The purpose of this research is to find out about winery tour activities and its capability as a superior, artificial tourist attractions in Medahan village. The research methods are using qualitative method with primary dan secondary data types. The methods of collecting data are through interviews, observations and documentations. The methods of determination of informants are purposive sampling.The result of this research, Sababay Winery tour is a tour that explain about how to make wine directly also trying some wine that Sababay Winery has and in the capacity of winery tour as superior artificial tourist attractions. This research explains about how to make wine instantly from its factory, along with ‘wine testing’ which the company has. Explaining privileges and superiority of wines made by Sababay Winery so that they are able to become other lokal wine competitors in Bali. The Sababay Wine Factory empowers human resources from the village of Medahan to become a reliable and trained workforce for the welfare of the lokal community. Sababay Winery is trying its best in helping development of Medahan village by holding CSR activities for Medahan village.Keyword: Sababay Winery tour, Wine Tourism, Artificial Tourist Attraction

Abstract

Rural tourism becomes a new trend in the tourism industry. There are many villages in Bali that are developing themselves to be tourism destinations. One of them is Desa Wisata Tista in Tabanan Regency, Bali. This village has become a tourism destination in Tabanan and many tourists visited this village. However, research showed that the management of Desa Wisata Tista has not been done maximally. This current research aimed at observing and analyzing the community’s participation in managing the Desa Wisata Tista. This was done as qualitative research in which the data were gained through an interview with the chief of management or in Bahasa it is called kelompok sadar wisata. The results of the interview reveal that the community participates well in the management of Desa Wisata Tista. Participation is done directly and indirectly. Direct participation is done by involving themselves in the management group, meanwhile, indirect participation is done by maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the environment which bring a big impact on the tourists’ comfort. It is suggested to improve the community’s participation by involving more in the management groups as well as become employees in the tourist attractions in Desa Wisata Tista.
