Abstract

Tradisi perang berbasis keadilan dapat ditemukan dalam sejarah pemikiran politik Islam pada masa awal khalifah Islam. Dalam kajian ini, penulis menggunakan dua pisau analisis yaitu interpretasi tekstual terhadap Alquran dan Hadis, dan interpretasi sejarah perang suci dalam tradisi Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali prinsip-prinsip dasar jihad, dan membandingkannya dengan teori perang berbasis keadilan untuk menemukan sisi persamaan dan perbedaanya, serta membangun argumentasi apakah jihad bisa dikategorikan sebagai bentuk perang yang memenuhi rasa keadilan masyarakat yang tertindas. Studi kasus dalam kajian ini adalah konsepsi jihad Imam Samudra dalam buku kontroversialnya “Aku Melawan Teroris”. Dengan menggunakan analisa Jus Ad Bellum dan Jus In Bello, ditemukan bahwa apabila jihad dipandang sebagai sesuatu yang sakral dan suci, maka kesucian jihad tidak bisa dikotori dengan tindakan terorisme. Dalam perspektif teologi dan hukum Islam, penelitian ini membuktikan penyalahgunaan ayat-ayat jihad oleh Imam Samudra untuk menjastifikasi tindakan terorisme yang dilakukannya di Bali.

Abstract

The articles examines the primacy of the fighting of Indonesian Ahmadiyya community (JAI) against a stigma perspectively and contextually to join with the majority’s social system. The fieldwork took place in Kampung Gondrong Tangerang, Banten. The research shows that the resilience and power of JAI originate in love for all hatred for none principles which protect their existence in the face of threat and pressure. The article also proves that both the power and the resilience of JAI result from their awareness to strategically develop many ways to deal with the stigma. This is the jihad of JAI as a foundation to motivate the community and spread out their influences.

Abstract

This article discusses how the understanding and application of the religion have an influence on individual behavior in terms of consumption behavior. This article proves that a good understanding of religion and it application will bring a good consumption behavior. Good consumption behavior is the behavior of consumption away from the hedonistic lifestyle and extravagant and consumption behavior which only buy what is needed and not buy what is desired. This article also shows that who has a higher the level of religiosity (religious understanding and it application) will have the lower level of consumerism (buying behavior are considered luxury items is a measure of happiness), this is evidenced by the t value is negative.

Abstract

This article reveals the marginalization of Jemaat Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) or Qadiyani Ahmadiyah in Indonesia and adjustment of social action, especially during the reign of the reform era. JAI social action adjustment is indicated by aseries of reality, namely: (1) basic solid belief in distress situations though never make existence weakened; (2) the exclusion of that happening is seen as the potential to increase the spirit of congregation more organized, making the movements exist with or without the attributes of the community; (3) the existence of accommodating movement patterns, contributing positively to the stability of the State and to develop humanitarian activities; and (4) their ability to orient its movement through the mechanism of purport back to his faith, sothat open to the more significant accommodating space. Through the process of adjustment of the social action, JAI resilience as an organization has strengthened. This study provides strong support to the theory of inclusive interaction as relational institutions in civil society or order of a civilized society.

Abstract

This article reveals the fact that in Islamic Family Law, there are a number of anomalies and crisis, for instance, Islamic Law Compilation (KHI) on polygamy and mixed-religion marriage which contains discrimination and intolerance. This, however, is caused by its enforcement bound by civil law and merely to theMoslem communities. The article introduces the nationalization and internationalization of Islamic family law in the KHI, thus eliminating discrimination and intolerance. This will be sought by creating coherence between KHI and modernity issues such as: Human Rights, democracy, civil society, nation state and constitutionalism in the effort to desacralization. When added with the term desacralization, it will mean to liberate people from superstitious constraints (mythology) in some aspects, yet reserving the sacralization, not undermining or abandoning religious orientation in the norms and values of society, especially in the Islamic Family Law. Understanding this fundamental, desacralization of Islamic family law is, hence, Quo Vadis Islamic Family Law, that will eventually create progressive Islamic Family Law consistent with modernity and Indonesian ideology

Abstract

The article concludes that the preservation of environment better prevails when is prevails when is applied Islamic based customary law. The strict implementation of the Islamic based customary law will lead healthier environment. The customary forest based on this law would be the best religious practices deals with the environmental crisis. This forest would be resilient against the damage on the protection and preservation of Islamic based customary law. Moreover, this should be supported by religious, social-political, and educational values.
