Abstract

Biodiesel is an alternative material that is environmentally friendly, has no effect on health and can be used as fuel for motor vehicles. The raw material for making biodiesel uses raw cooking oil with KOH catalyst, the research conducted using the number of blades, namely 4 blades, 6 blades and 8 blades. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the number of blades on the quality of biodiesel which includes calorific value, viscosity, density, flash point, pour point produced from waste cooking oil. Variation in the number of 4 blades, 6 blades, and 8 blades with a stirring process for 1 hour at 100 rpm rotation. The results of research that have been done are variations in the number of blades affect the quality of biodiesel produced, this is evidenced that from the number of blades 8 produces a heating value of 17.46 46 Btu / lb. Making a difference between blade 8 with 6 yields a difference of 0.14 Btu / lb and blade 8 with 4 produces a difference of 0.28 Btu / lb

Abstract

Students is important component in an educational institution, new students who enroll in Cepu Oil and GasVocational School in 2012 were 475, in 2013 were 526, in 2014 were 687, in 2015 were 785, 2016 were 648, and in 2017 were461. New students who register has increases and decreases for every year, it caused changes any policies taken by the schoolprincipal to optimize the provision of facilities and teaching force.The new student acceptance prediction is needed to support decision making and policy planning in the future,therefore the authors conducted a study to predict new student admissions based on the time series data obtained from CepuOil and Gas Majority High School in the form of prediction applications using the Adaptive Neuro algorithm Fuzzy InferenceSystem (ANFIS) which is processed using matlab. Predictive error value of manual calculation is calculated using MAPEmethod (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) and prediction error calculation with prediction application is calculated using theMAPE and RMSE methods (Root Mean Squared Errors).The results of this researches is the number of new students who enrolled in 2018 is 607,327 with a percent errorvalue of 0.00333682% calculated using the MAPE method and the average error of 0.151786 was calculated using the RMSEmethod. Predicted results can be used as references in supporting decision making by the Cepu Oil and Gas Vocational HighSchool Principal.

Abstract

High school Technology Ronggolawe (STTR) Cepu was one of the colleges that have the obligation to provide the media withinformation about alumni in order for the establishment of good communication between fellow alumni. Therefore the authors do a researchby designing information systems alumni, such as courses, year of graduation, the place of work as well as other information related toalumni.The purpose of this research is able to collect and maintain accurate data and serves from alumni. The design of informationsystems is modeled into the diagrams in the UML (Unified Modeling Language). Programming using PHP-based Framework. FrameworkCodeIgniter developed to facilitate in developing application structure file source code using the approach the concept of MVC (Model ViewController). System development method of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) in the model of the waterfall. The research of usingtesting functionality testing and black box testing.The results of test functionality of information systems alumni (tracer study) were declared worthy in terms of functionality, with100% results on black box testing. This research is expected to help high schools Technology Ronggolawe (STTR) Cepu in performing datastorage management and alumni.

Abstract

In this study the column being modeled is the lowest column, the bottom of which is pinched and the other end free, by adding fiber to the concrete mix mixture. The addition of fiber as much as 1% -3% of heavy cement. The fiber used consists of a fiber tie wire with a diameter of 1 mm, a length of 60 mm and the two ends are bent. While the steel used in this study was 112,903 mm in diameter, 1,450 mm thick and 700 mm long.The results of the study are a strong test of the composite column pressure on the eccentric and centric loads ie on specimens without fiber material producing average moments and average maximum loads (14720,56250. 103 Nmm and 532,50.103 N), for fiber reserves 1 % (15535,625,103 Nmm and 557.5,103 N), for 2% fiber content (15647,675,103 Nmm and 625,103 N), for 3% fiber content (18235,00,103 Nmm and 650,00,103 N). It turns out that the results of this study indicate that the addition of fiber to the concrete mix increases the strong capacity for centric loading or eccentric loading.

Abstract

Sebagai suatu sistem linier rangkaian tangga RL, RC, LC, dan RLC dengan sumber tegangan dapat direpresentasikan ke dalam bentuk \textit{state equations} berupa persamaan matriks-vektor $\dot{\mathbf{x}}=\mathbf{Ax}+\mathbf{B}u$. Dengan pemilihan \textit{state variables} tertentu, \textit{state matrix} $\mathbf{A}$ yang terbentuk dalam proses pemodelan memiliki pola unik dan menarik. Pola ini dapat digunakan sebagai rujukan dalam mengkonstruksi \textit{state equations} untuk rangkaian tangga $n$ tingkat dengan sumber yang sama. Selain itu pola yang didapatkan juga memudahkan perhitungan nilai eigen \textit{state matrix} $\mathbf{A}$. Selanjutnya nilai eigen tersebut akan menentukan kestabilan dari sistem dinamis $\dot{\mathbf{x}}=\mathbf{Ax}$. Berdasarkan teori matriks dan indikasi perhitungan numeris rangkaian tangga LC menghasilkan sistem dinamis yang stabil sedangkan rangkaian tangga RL, RC, dan RLC menghasilkan sistem dinamis dengan kestabilan asimptotik.

Abstract

Perlakuan panas (heat treatment) merupakan kombinasi antara pemanasan dan pendinginan yang terkontrolterhadap logam/baja atau paduan dalam keadaan padat dengan durasi waktu untuk memperoleh sifat-sifat tertentu.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan Quenching dengan variasi pendingin konsentrasi airgaram dan untuk mengetahui variasi pendinginan konsentrasi air garam mana yang mampu menghasilkan kekerasandan kekuatan tarik yang paling baik pada plat baja ST 37.Metode penelitian dimulai degan pembuatan spesimendengan standart ASTM A370, lalu dilanjutkan dengan proses pemanasan spesimen dalam dapur pemanas hinggamencapai suhu 830oC dan setelah itu proses pendinginan dengan variasi larutan garam 18%, 23% dan 28%. Hasiluji kekerasan menunjukan kekerasan maksimal diperoleh pada spesimen dengan variasi 72% air + 28% garam yaitusebesar 93,3 HRB. Untuk hasil dari pengujian tarik didapatkan kekuatan tarik maksimal pada spesimen denganvariasi 82% air + 18% garam yaitu sebesar 133,14 MPa
