Abstract

Competition in many companies can be measured by the level of productivity of the company. CV. Gavra Perkasa Gresik is a manufacturing company engaged in the wood processing industry, among the products produced is turning. So far, the company has never made productivity measurements so that, if output is low, the company thinks it is not good without analyzing the causes specifically and not paying attention to the efficiency of the use of resources (inputs) that are owned. Productivity measurement to find out how the condition of the company's productivity, whether experiencing an increase or decrease, is necessary to measure productivity using the model Marvin E. Mundel. This measurement is carried out on labor input, material, energy, capital and total input. The data needed for productivity analysis is taken from 2016 as the base period and 2017 as the measurement period. The results of calculation of productivity using the mundel model not all inputs have decreased, causing the company's total productivity to be 98.18% which has a good impact on the company.                Keywords: Productivity, CV. Abstract

The Educational Game Tool is a game tool that intentionally designed specifically for educational purposes. In the industrial world, doing business in the world of toys is a very prospect and opportunity. Feasibility studies need to be carried out to avoid risk of loss, facilitate planning, facilitate the implementation of work, facilitate supervision and facilitate control. Consideration is carried out on the technical, financial and market aspects and marketing aspects to see whether these children's toys are feasible or not to be produced and marketed. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of feasibility of developing educational game products by introducing Arabic to early childhood in terms of technical, financial, market and marketing aspects. From the results of the study obtained the level of agreement on the market and marketing aspects of the 15 statements given were above 90.29% which means the statements given by each respondent, the respondents agreed. In technical aspect, it is known that balsa wood has a lead time of one week, so the company must do planning and scheduling orders to do safety stock. In the financial aspects, the initial investment needs of Rp. 166,536,000.00, the NPV has a positive value of Rp. 824,715,456.00 with an interest rate of 8%, the IRR is 67% greater than MAAR 8% and PP is obtained for 1 year 7 months 6 days.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi semakin banyak digunakan oleh perguruan tinggi. Universitas negeri di Karawang memanfaatkanya dalam bentuk website. Website tersebut merupakan website utama dalam sistem informasi universitas yang dikelola oleh Unit Pelaksana Teknis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (UPT TIK). UPT TIK berencana akan mengembangkan website baru, perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap website lama agar user dapat menggunakannya dengan lebih mudah dan memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memepengaruhi usability website universitas menggunakan metode UWIS (usability assessment and design of web-based information systems) sebagai bahan evaluasi pada website baru yang akan diluncurkan nanti. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan Partial Least Square (PLS) pada software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat dimensi yang berpengaruh terhadap web usability website universitas yang harus diperhatikan oleh pihak terkait, yaitu Consistency (C), Assurance (A), Web Design (WD), dan Satisfaction (SF).

Abstract

Banana is one of the commodities that have nutritional value and high economic value. In order to produce a nice fruit and a high economic value, these plants must grow well. The Factors that can cause the plant to grow well, one of them is water. Water is used by plants, to grow root, stem, leaves and also maturation the fruit. When the plant doesn’t have water, growth will be stunted even death. In addition to deficiencies, excess water on the plant can also cause spoilage. Therefore, needed a tool which can watering plants, especially banana plant. The tool can be made using Arduino. Arduino is brand platform microcontroller that can control various sensors from soil moisture sensor, humidity sensor even it can apply the concept of the Internet of Things. The purpose of this research is to create a prototype automatic watering tool uses concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) to find out the condition of banana plant in real-time. The results obtained, the automatic watering tool successfully built and functional according the design, starting from the arduino that can control the soil moisture sensor to read current soil moisture, insert the data into the database, and the pump doesn’t on, because the moisture didn’t under 41% or in dry condition during the research. Abstract

Indonesia as one of the biggest archipelagic countries, sees the potential for the need for ports as an inter-island logistics sector. Ports in Indonesia are managed by PT. Indonesian Port, one of the branches of PT. Pelindo is PT. X which has liquid bulk stores specifically for CPO loading and unloading. The problem that occurs is the increase in loading and unloading service time that has exceeded the set resting time, which results in the length of the waiting time for the ship in the pool. So that it will have an impact on the quality of CPO, which causes an increase in the levels of free fatty acids in CPO. Because it is proposed to improve the process of loading and unloading CPO services to minimize queues and reduce ship waiting times. Simulation is completed with ExtandSim software. As for the selected scenario, namely the second alternative scenario showing an increase in service on each pier, the average ship input is 64 ships and the average output is 62 ships, more optimal than conceptual conditions, the proposed calculation of investment costs is the addition of a pipeline of 104,244.00 US $.Keywords:  Extendsim, Port Of Liquid Bulk, CPO, Descrette Event Simulation

Abstract

Karimun Regency is the one of the regions that is in the development of increasing economic growth and has considerable business opportunities to increase regional economic growth. Karimun regency has natural resources that are still very potential to be developed. Business sector distribution indicators to see the rate of economic growth can be indicated by the number of Gross Regional Domestic Product, indicate that the average growth of the economic sector that provides a largest distrbution from 2010-2017 is the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector which is equal to 17,05%  and subsector which provides the largest distribution is the fisheries sector in the amount of 71,61%. However, from 2010-2017 the agriculturue, forestry and fisheries sector experienced a slowdown in economic growth of 2,76%. This research aims to analyze the base sector in the fisheries sector using the approach Location Quotient (LQ) method, afterwards the sector which is the potential sector or base is analyzed using the approach Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the leading commodities in the base sector. Results of this research indicate that the sector is the base sector and the main concern of the regional government in increasing regional economic growth in the fisheries sector is the capture fisheries  subsector with the value of LQ > 1, that is 1,32 and the leading commodities in the capture fisheries subsector are cuttlefish with a growth of 0,40 the followed by large pelagic fish 0,30 andthen shrimp commodities of 0,17 and the last is small pelagic fish of 0,12.Keywords : Regional Economic Growth, Fisheries Sector, Location Quotient, Analytical Hierarchy Process

Abstract

PT. X is a company engaged in the textile industry in Bandung. In one of the departments it owns, namely the weaving department, there are a number of machines to roll the yarn into sheets of cloth. Among these machines, there are 2 engines, namely Pirn Winder (PW) and Two For One (TFO) machines, which have almost the same function, which is rolling thread. In both machines, problems were found, namely operators working with a high workload, especially from repetition factors and poor work postures, so operators often complained of pain in their body parts. This is evident from the results of the preliminary research using the QEC method that the operator on the machine has an exposure level of more than 60% so that changes in the existing working conditions are needed. Using the method of Assessment Repetitive Task (ART) and REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment carried out measurement of repetitive working conditions that occur and also carried out measurements of the actual work posture. Then, the design of a tool in the form of a machine to reduce repetitions that occur must be done by the operator and improve operator work posture while working.The results were simulated using software and found out that the risk of repetition, posture has been reduced and there is a time savings of 67%.
