Abstract

Abstract

From observation and experience in Class V Batang Peranap SDN 001 IndragiriHulu encountered symptoms, especially in social studies is of 23 students only 11 (47.8%) ofstudents are serious in taking into account social studies underway, while other students do notpay attention to the lesson . Based on the researchers interested in conducting a class actionresearch to determine appropriate action in the implementation of STAD cooperative learningto improve student interest in social studies class V SDN 001 Batang Peranap.Classroom action research was conducted in Class V Batang Peranap SDN 001 Indragiri Huluacademic year 2013/2014 the number of students as many as 23 people. This research wasconducted in two cycles starting from April 2013 to May 2013.Based on the results of the discussion of the number of students who completed the prasiklusonly 28% and increased in the first cycle to 70% in the first cycle sebebakan for both studentsand researchers are still in a period of adaptation and still requires some dokongan from variousparties. Seen on the second cycle increased to 88% with an average value that is 77.6 can beconcluded that the hypothesis proposed action can be accepted as true. Abstract

action research has been conducted to determine the increase in social studieslearning outcomes with the use of media images in grade IV SDN 001 Pematang Batang PeranapDistrict of the Academic Year 2013/2014. This study was conducted in January 2013. The subjectswere students of class IV with the number of students of 30 people consisting of 12 male studentsand 18 female students. The parameters measured were the result of learning that consists ofabsorption, completeness student learning, student activities and teacher activity seen from thelearning outcomes of each cycle. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed thatincreased student learning outcomes, can be seen from the absorption students first cycle withan average of 76.83 daily tests (both categories) increased cycled II with an average of 81.16daily tests (both categories). Mastery learning students who complete the first cycle of individual27 people (90.00%) with excellent category increased in the second cycle is the complete individual28 people (93.33%) with excellent category. Student learning activity also increased, judgingfrom the average percentage of student activity.In the first cycle average of 73.34% of student activity (enough category) increased in the secondcycle the average activity of the students became 85.83% (excellent category) .Aktivitas teacherin the learning process has been good and has increased an average of percentage of teachers inthe first cycle activities 84.29% (both categories) increased in the second cycle the averageactivity of the teacher to 100.00% (excellent category). From these results it can be concludedthat the use of media images can improve learning outcomes fourth grade social studies studentsof SDN 001 Pematang Peranap Indragiri Hulu District of the Academic Year 2013/2014.Keywords: Results Learning, Media Image

Abstract

But the problems that appear in the learning process of cultural arts subjects inclass XI SMAN 10 Pekanbaru City today is still dominated by the activities of the teacher,because the methods used so far are not able to generate gaerah and interest students learnsome vital lessons so that students become passive and just accept material from the teacheralone, as well as less attractive in art education lesson, resulting in low student learning outcomes,in the year 2013/2014 ketuntasasan student learning on the subjects of art education is 60 thisis due to the teacher only using means or methods of lecture and question and answer only indelivering course material.Based on the description above problems, need to find a solution. The solution is to change thelearning strategy through Classroom Action Research (CAR) by using the method of grantingduty.That the application of learning methods giving the task to improve learning outcomes ofstudents of class XI SMAN Pekanbaru. The increase can be seen in the following aspects:1. Summary of teachers increased every meeting on the first cycle of the first meeting of 62.50%and 72.50% second meeting, the first meeting of the second cycle of 80.00% and 87.50% secondmeeting. Student activity also increased every meeting on the first cycle of the first meeting of60.00% and 70.00% second meeting. At the first meeting of the second cycle increased 77.50%and 85.00% second meeting.2. Results of study before action with an average value of 57.60. After the action in the firstcycle increased the average value becomes 66.08 and increased in the second cycle with a meanvalue of 75.43 ratamenjadi.3. Complete the classical increased from a base score 6 students (26.08%) who completedincreased by 34.79% to 14 students (60.87) in the first cycle, then increased again by 30.44% to21 the students (91.30%) in the second cycle.Keywords: Learning method of assignment, learning outcomes.

Abstract

The fact that encountered in the class in learning History shows that, there aremany students who do not have the creativity and learning competencies are still low. Based onpreliminary studies conducted by researchers that students are not creative in the followingstudy where students were pointing hand to answer questions posed by the teacher that is 12.8%and the students who pay attention to the lesson, namely 25.6%. Another fact is also foundstudents who sleepy during the learning activity that is 38.5% and 23.1% in the study bullying.One example can be seen from the daily tests of learning outcomes achieved by the class XIIScience 2nd semester 2012/2013 academic year at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru are not satisfactory asexpected.The results showed that: (1) The results of students of class XII Science SMAN 10 Pekanbaru inHistory teaching is done by using the model of expository make students more active and creativein learning. This is evident from the increasing creativity of students, in the first cycle mastery oflearning outcomes is 70.59% and (2) Results of students of class XII Science SMAN 10 Pekanbaruin History teaching is done by using the model of expository make students more active andcreative in learning. This is evident from the increasing creativity of students, in the second cyclemastery of learning outcomes is 100%.Keywords: Creativity Students, Using Expository Method.

Abstract

The fact that is found sometimes still far from expectations, such as those foundin SMAN 10 Pekanbaru, there are many teachers who teach sociology using the lecture method,as I observed, it turns out the lecture method is less attractive and less arouse students’ interestand activity. One method that can be used to increase student activity is a discussion group.Seeing realities encountered in the classroom, then I found the student activity in SMAN 10Pekanbaru in Sociology learning is still lacking. Desired activity is activity as expressed by PaulD.Dierich in Oemar Hamalik (2001: 173), which suggests that this type of activity in oral or oralactivity is put forward a fact or principle, linking an event, ask questions, give advice, expressopinions , interviews, and discussions.For it is necessary to change the model of learning to the learning objectives can be achievedand the attitudes and interests of students also changed as indicated by increasing student learningactivities with creative thinking in the learning process. Seeing the students’ abilities andcircumstances of the class, so I tried to use a learning model with jigsaw cooperative learningmodel.In the discussion section can disimpulkann that students’ motivation through the use ofcooperative learning model increased to 77.57%, while answering and responding to be 95.68%.Indicators of the presence of the third cycle changes are more interested and enthusiastic studentsto attend the lessons. It can be concluded that, participation from students who performed in thethird cycle has increased in all indicators.Keywords: Students’ motivation, cooperative leraning Jigsaw.

Abstract

This study aims to find, analyze and describe the characteristics of street children,child driving factors become street children, and crimes of street children. This type of researchis descriptive penelitinan. The data used to complete this study consists of the data Primary andSecondary Data. Primary data were obtained berdaserkan field research using the StructuredInterview list has been prepared. while secondary data obtained from the relevant institutionsand library materials related to the presence of street children in the city of Pekanbaru. Thetechnique of data pengmbilan is by observation, structured interviews and documentation. Thedata is then processed ririskiky percent described it descriptive.Based on the findings of theresearch field is 1.) Characteristics of street children in the city of Pekanbaru which include sexmen aged 14-16 years, a job selling newspapers, state schools generally do not go back toschool, junior high school level, area of origin of street children is in the province of Riau, hoursof work 4-6 hours per day, capital comes from an agent, revenue Rp10,000 to Rp20,000, usabilitypendapaan to eat, ideals ciata want the driver, hope street children want to go back to school,where living with parents, long become street children 3-4 years 2.) factors driving childrenstreets become street children, who told them to work is their own will and reason to workbecause of economic pressures. 3.) criminal acts of street children include forms of criminal actsare stealing and pickpocketing, the reason of criminal activity because it requires money, victimsof criminal acts asyarakat around, many street children who have experienced violence, violenceis a form of physical violence, abusers thugs, an effort to avoid violence by allowing only whatis experienced, there are street children who had sexual intercourse, sexual intercourse withprostitutes, sexual intercourse is the reason of their own accord, street children into the community,never experienced acts of violence from other communities in the form of physical violence,street children many motorcycle accident, street children ever done hanyab raided and records,street children are not satisfied with the government’s treatment of the desired concrete form ofgovernment is skills training and daily needs.Keywords: Profile, Street Children, Pekanbaru

Abstract

This study was conducted in class V SDN 013 District of Peranap Indragiri Hulu,this study came from low yields social studies history with an average of 45% (Enough). Toovercome this problem, the authors apply the learning to Make A- Match. Therefore, theformulation of this problem is: Is there an increase in student learning outcomes through the useof learning to Make A- Match SDN 013 District of Peranap Indragiri Hulu?This study aims to pinpoint the impact and results of social studies in the fifth grade students ofSDN 013 District of Peranap Indragiri Hulu.Hope authors of this study can be useful for writers, schools and students.The results of the study in the first cycle shows that by using the Make A-Match learning learningoutcomes increased from 45% (enough) to 60.9 (Pretty Good), while discipline students achievedan average 68% The results of this study have not yet reached the target of 75 %, therefore, theauthors continued in the second cycle. The result is an increase in learning outcomes of 60.9(Pretty Good) in the first cycle to 71.6% (good) on the second cycle. The discipline of studentsincreased to an average of 73.6%. Learning takes place in accordance with the expected activeand creative students find learning the core material.Keywords: student learning, use of Learning Make A Macth
