Abstract

Reformation has rised the spirit of outonomy in local area. TheLocal Outonomy rules with Law of 22th 1999 year, Law of 25th 1999year and also the 129th year 2000 of Goverment Regulation. ThatRegulation has caused the change on Indonesia government system. Since2007, there have been performed 167 regions and provinces. ThisCondition has been bringing to local society impacts because formedthe new areas continued with forming lower local areas, till lowerst areasof goverment. This research descrips the change on South Solok Regionafter it have been formed and opened in 2003 year.Keywords : local outonomy, local government, regions forming

Abstract

This article explains how the American women got theiremancipation from the beginning of 18th century up to mid of 19thcentury. The American women had struggle for their freedom, rights,emancipation, actualization, and discrimination they had from men, evenfrom government. The names such as Betty Friedan, Elizabeth CadyStanton, Elizabeth and Emily Blackwell, were some of the names thatthey had struggle for the American women emancipation. NAWSA, NOW,and ERA, were the result of their fight, and their progress can be seenfrom time to time.Key words: struggle, progress, NAWSA, NOW, and ERA.

Abstract

Masih segar dalam ingatan kita, bahwa krisis multidimensi yangberkepanjangan—puncaknya tahun 1997-2000—merupakan pengalamanterpahit dalam krisis ekonomi, politik, dan hukum pasca kemerdekaan In-donesia. Krisis yang dapat diibaratkan negara-bangsa yang turbulensi (chaos)di mana banyak pengamat menyebutnya sebagai “A Country in Despair”suatu negara bangsa yang bukan sekedar dilterpa bencana, tetapi telahtenggelam dalam ketiadaan harapan yang mendalam (Dhakidae, 2002; xvii).

Abstract

Inovasi terjadi karena perasaan tidak puas terhadap kondisi dan situasiyang ada serta adanya peluang untuk memperbaiki keadaan yang ada, inovasiharus dijadikan sebagai suatu alat dan bukan suatu tujuan, tujuan dari suatuinovasi adalah perubahan atau perbaikan dari kondisi yang ada menjadi lebihbaik, namun tidak semua perubahan dapat dikatakan sebagai suatu inovasi.

Abstract

Masyarakat terasing di Riau terdiri atas 6 suku, yaitu Bonai, Sakai,Talang Mamak, Akit, Hutan dan Suku Laut. Masyarakat terasing ini tersebarhamper di seluruh daerah Riau.Penyebarannya meliputi :Kabupaten Kampar : Suku Bonai dan Suku Hutan.Kabupaten inderagiri Hulu : Suku Talang Mamak.Kabupaten Inderagir Hilir : Suku Laut.

Abstract

Peristiwa Angkatan 66 terjadi karena semangat patriotis untukmenyelamatkan negara yang diperlihatkan oleh kalangan mahasiswadan masyarakat. Perjuangan itu menghasilkan peralihan pemerintahandari rezim orde lama pada rezim orde baru. Bagi penyair peristiwabersejarah tersebut ditekan dalam puisi yang berbentuk sajak denganbahasa puitis. H. B. Jassin mengumpulkan sejumlah sastrawan yangberkarya pada masa itu dengan sebutan Angkatan 66. Persoalannya,bagaimana semangat patriotis yang ditampilkan penyair pada puisinya.Dari 25 penulis puisi, menghasilkan 112 puisi yang terdapat di dalamdua jilid buku Angkatan 66 Prosa dan Puisi. Sedangkan puisi yangmemuat nilai-nilai patriotis hanya berjumlah 28 puisi. Semangat patriotisdicerminkan dari bentuk deskrpsi semangat juang para mahasiswa danmasyarakat. Serta semangat rela berkorban dari keluarga yang dicintai.

Abstract

It is very exciting that history in the Integrated Cmriculum forSecondary School (ICSS) has been included as one of the core subjects inthe lower and upper secondary levels of Malaysian schools. These subjectsare officially included in the time table of the ordinary, religious, science,vocational and technical schools in the country. One of the most importantand effective methods introduced in the teaching and learning of historyis a fieldwork approaches, particularly a site visit. Since history is acompulsory subject, it is necessary to study and analyse the ICSS historycurriculum to see i f it really could achieve the objectives of the syllabus,successfully imparting knowledge and develop interest among studentsin the subject. The study involved about eight hundred students of selectedsecondary schools in the states of Perak and Terengganu. Instrimentsused were questionnaire and interview which were conducted with theselected respondents. The analysis of the study were presented inpercentage by using six Likert scale responses. The study shows that historyfieldwork contain many usefulness such as to develop, spark/ stimulate,motivate, investigate, prove, gain social experience, social sldUs, buildteacher-student relation, teaching-learning method, and fulfil NationalCurriculum. Moreover, the effective used of history fieldwork can enhancestudent interest in developing the country towards the advancement offirst class mind of human capital of Malaysian. It is hoped that the findingwill enlighten teachers and students in the learning of history in the ICSStowards achieving the stipulated aspiration, especially 1-Malaysia.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out how Siak Sri IndrapuraPalace was existed by Raja Kecil in 1723 at Buantan. The method used inthis research is library research by comparing two Malay literatures, Tuhfatal Nafis holy book and Siak war poem. The result of this research is toprove that Raja Kecil is Raja Malakas generation.
