Abstract

This study aims to determine the model of infiltration at a variety of land uses (land palm plantations, cocoa plantation land, wetland and shrub land) in the village of Tulo, District Dolo, Sigi. Data analysis infiltration rate equation model Horton. Infiltration rate measurements in         the field using a double ring infiltrometer are embedded into the ground and then ring in                the contents above water until the boundary line. Observation of decreased water level in measuring each interval of 10, 20,30,40,50,60 minutes. Measurement of infiltration repeated three times        for each land use. The results showed that the model of infiltration in oil plantation area that            is f = 8,2 + (10 – 8,2) e-2,64t, on a cocoa plantation land is f = 8 + (10 - 8) e-2,68t, in paddy fields, namely f = 9,23 + (10 – 9,23) e-5,20t and the shrub land is f = 4 + (10 - 4) e-2,96t. Infiltration in the shrub land quite a bit faster in the amount of 6,56 cm/hour, on a cocoa plantation land classified as being in the amount of 2,06 cm/hour, on a coconut plantation land and wetland quite a bit slower with the infiltration rate of the soil palm plantations amounted to 1,87 cm/hour and a wetland of              0,87 cm/hour. Key Words : Cocoa plantation land, Desa Tulo, infiltration rate, land coconut plantation, shrub land, wetland.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to figure out the physical and chemical characteristic of antioxidant noodle and sago starch with peels extract of red dragon fruit. The reseach design was used Completely Randomized Design with six treatment and triplicate in order to obtain 18 units of trials. The treatment that have been tried namely sago paste that mixed into sago starch that consist of six levels : 100 g ; 110 g ; 120 g; 130; 140 g dan 150 g. The observation variable that to done including water content, water holding capacity (WHC) and oil holding capacity (OHC), cooking loss and antioxidant content. The data were analysed with analysis of variance and continued with further test of honestly significance difference (HSD) 5%. The result of research shown that the water content tend to increase with the increased of sago starch. Cooking loss tend to increase with increased amount sago starch (110 to 150 g). The antioxidant properties of the noodles are best obtained in the treatment of sago starch 100 g.  Key Words : Antioxidants, noodles, peels of red dragon fruit, Sagu starch.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the marketing channels, marketing margin,     part of the price received by farmers and marketing efficiency. Determination of the respondents to the farm was done intentionally (purposive). Total respondents two people consisting of 1 leader and 1 employee with the consideration that the respondents have to know the flow of the marketing of the products produced. Respondent traders used assessment method (Tracing Method), in order to obtain each 2 collectors and 1 retailers. The results showed that there are two channels of marketing eggs in the effort "breeder laying hens on the farm" Aris Light Sweet "as follows:          1). Breeders - Traders Gatherer - Retailer - Consumer. 2). Breeders - Traders Gatherer/retailer - Consumer. Margin on the first channel of IDR.9,600 and a second channel IDR.5,400. Section prices received by farmers in the first marketing channel by 91% and the second channel by 93%. Section prices received by farmers on the second channel ar greater, with the efficiency of 4,5%. Compared with the first channel with the efficiency of 4,7%. The results also showed that the efficiency of the marketing channels more efficiently. Key Words : Efficiency, marketing , margin , part price.

Abstract

Maize plays a part important after rice with a value of nutrition high carbohydrate. This research aims to know to eligibility of maize farming financial. This Research is executed in Sumari Village District Of Sindue Sub-Province of Donggala from April up to June 2015 with reason of that Countryside of Sumari represent one of the areas which producer of Maize. Amount of farmer of responder counted 30 farmers from totalizing population counted 103 KK pursuant to the formula of Slovin. Used Analysis Data know the target of which wish to be reached that is a Criterion Investment by using the method of Net Value present (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C) and is Internal Rate Of Return (IRR). Result of calculation obtained NPV equal to Rp. 8,348,157.50, - indicating that investment at maize farming in Sumaria Village gives advantage equal to Rp. 8,348,157.50, - during six years according to present value by financial beneficial or competent to be labored, yielded IRR equal to 23,85% bigger than bank interest rate going into effect equal to 18%. This matter indication that maize farming in Sumaria Village District Of Sindue Sub-Province of Donggala competent to be labored because IRR bigger than bank interest rate going into effect and Net B/C obtained equal in this 2,28 matters indicate that to each, every present value of expenditure equal to Rp.1 will give benefit equal to Rp. 2,28.                                                             Key Words :  Expedience, finansial, maize, producer, revenue

Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine growth and production of chili (Capsicum annuum L.) provided compost and bacteria Azotobacter sp. This study used a randomized block design factorial with two treatment factors. The first factor is compost consisting of : compost 15 t ha-1, 20 tha-1, and 25 t ha-1. The second factor is the bacteria Azotobacter sp. consisting of without giving Azotobacter sp. and giving Azotobacter sp. Each treatment was repeated four times so that there are 24 units trial. The results showed the bacteria Azotobacter sp. administration significantly affected plant height, root length, root volume, fresh weight of plants, plant dry weight, number of fruit crops, and the weight of the fruit crop. The results showed plant height, root length, root volume, fresh weight of plants, plant dry weight, number of fruit crops, and the weight of the fruit crop the highest in the delivery of Azotobacter sp. is each by 42,1 cm, 238,4 cm, 8,88 ml, 22,1 g, 5,60 g, 4,92 buah, 5,79 g. While the treatment of compost and their interaction had no significant effect on the observed variables. Key Words : Azotobacter sp., Chili, Compost, growth, production.

Abstract

The study aimed is to find out the inhibitation level of leaves extract of Ketepeng China (Cassia alata L.) insome concentrations on the growth of Phytophthora palmivora funguson cocoa fruit. This study was arranged in Complete Randomized Design, with the extract concentrations tested were 0,5%, 1%, 1,5%, 2% and 2,5% on the growth of Phytophthora palmivora fungus diameter. This study was conducted on September to October 2015 in Pest and Disease Department Laboratory, Agriculture Faculty, Tadulako University. The result showed that the average extract concentration of 2,5% can better inhibitate the growth of Phytophthora palmivora fungus diameter (30.18%), and based on the analysis using simple linear regression, it showed that the concentration 2,5% has the higest dependent variable value with 30,48%. Key Words : Cocoa, extract leave, Ketepeng China (Cassia alata L.), Phytophthora palmivora.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the amount of revenue earned and expenses incurred, know the size of the resulting production and sales value received in the Village Oyster Mushroom Business District of Mpanau Biromaru Sigi. The study was conducted in the village of Oyster Mushroom Business District of Mpanau Biromaru Sigi in October to December 2015.                 The respondents consisted of two persons namely business owners and labor one person of Business Oyster Mushrooms. The results indicate the that study: (1). The revenue the that oyster mushroom business are products IDR. 5,250,000/month with a production cost of IDR. 3,032,268/month, in order to obtain of revenue IDR. 2,217,732/month. (2). The break even point for the product achieved in the oyster mushroom production volume as much as 51 kg at a price of IDR. 35,000/kg, the sales value of IDR. 1,785,000/month. This could mean that if these efforts produce results of more than 51 kg or gain more acceptance, then the business will have an advantage, otherwise if the business is producing less than 51 kg or receiving less then this business will suffer losses. Key Words: Analysis of break event point, Oyster mushroom business in Mpanau Viilage.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the factors that affect the production and the amount of income on wetlandrice farmin Minti Makmur Village Riopakava Subdistrict Donggala Regency. The determination of respondents was carried out through Simple Random Sampling Method.     The number of samples was 31 people taken from a population of 102. The analytical tool used was the functional production analysis of Cobb-Douglass and income analysis. The results of the researchshowed that the area of land, seed,urea fertilizer, ponska fertilizer, while sp36 fertilizer and meanwhile significantly effected on the production of wetland rice farmat 95%. The results of the analysis indicated that the average income was in the amount of IDR.22,096,451.61/1.31ha/planting season orIDR. 16,867,538.77/ha/planting season. Key Words : Farming, income,production, wetland rice.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the potential of the Aspergillus sp. Palolo local isolates on the insects of Helopeltis spp.. The results of laboratory tests were used for in the field experiment, in order to know the influence of the concentration and the intensity of insect Helopeltis spp. The results of this study are expected to be used as an alternative for researchers to use entomopathogenic fungi Aspergillus sp. This research was conducted in two places, namely to research conducted phase one preliminary test performed in the laboratory of pests and plant diseases and for stage two test field, which is housed in cocoa production centers in Palolo Sigi. This study commenced from the month of May 2015 to July 2015. On the stage by looking at the concentration of the fungus Aspergillus sp. Effective in the mortality pest Helopeltis spp. In stage two were done in the field (cocoa plantations) is a continuation of research on the preliminary test effective concentration that causes mortality in test insects. The results showed that the use of a preliminary test at a concentration of 10-3, 10-5, 10-7 and 10-9 were used in the efektivity Helopeltis spp pest mortality rate is 10-5 cfu. The number of pest population concentration Helopeltis spp.. after the Aspergillus sp applied from week to week was decreased. Key Words: Aspergillus sp., intensity of  severity, pest population.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the index of erosion in different land uses in the watershed Tawaeli North Palu subdistrict, Palu. The usefulness of this research is as a source of information for the various parties in relation to land resources management policy, It is also expected to be useful as reference data for further research. The research was conducted from October to December 2015, held in DAS Tawaeli, North Palu subdistrict, Palu and Laboratory of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University Tadulako. These results indicate At shrub land and cacao plantations have erosion hazard index values are relatively low (<1) so no need for soil conservation measures. Erosion hazard index value (> 1) and is classified clove plantations are on land, in value of 1.52, 1.83 and 1.94. An erosion hazard index value greater than 1 is necessary to soil conservation measures such as contour planting, terracing, and the selection of appropriate plant cover. Key Words : Erosion hazard index, Plantation Cocoa and Plantation Cloves, shrublands.
