Abstract

This research aims to find out applications of nitrogen fertilizer on the growth and yield of sweet corn and to get a dose of nitrogen fertilizers are better for the growth and yield of sweet corn and usefulness of this research is for information to farmers to develop and increase crop yields of sweet corn through the use of nitrogen fertilizersand can add a reference to the science of various doses of nitrogenousfertilizers in the cultivation of sweet corn. study design randomized complete block design (RAK) with seven treatments, namely: without urea (N0), urea 50 kg ha-1 (N1), urea 100 kg ha-1 (N2), urea 150 kg ha-1 (N3), urea 200 kg ha-1 ( N4), urea 250 kg ha-1 (N5), urea 300 kg ha-1 (N6). treatment was repeated three times to obtain 21 experimental units. the research found that the nitrogen fertilizer application very significant effect on all components of observation, several doses of nitrogen increases the growth and yield of sweet corn, the awarding of the fertilizer urea 250 kg ha-1 yield better production with the lenght of the cob (31,44 cm) and weight of the cob (10,048 ton ha-1) and same result with doses of urea 300 kg ha-1. keywords: Nitrogen fertilizer, Sweet corn.

Abstract

Mango (Mangifera indica L) is a kind of anually fruit tree which come from India. The main purpose of this research is to examining and identifying a morphology and structure of  local manggo at Central Toboli Village, Subdisctrict North Parigi, and Olaya Village in subdistrict Parigi The regency of Parigi Maoutong as a pioneer of a mother of the plant. This research is held at central Toboli Village and Olaya village the regency of Parigi Moutong and was continued at a Biology Laboratory of MIPA faculty Tadulako University, July untill August 2016. This research is using a survey method, the first activity is taking a decision of a location of research, the location of research is decided intentionally (purpose sampling) base on information from Agriculture Departement and the local resident and also concerning to see the influenses a manggo plant base on the result of the surveyfrom several subdistrict, that those subdistrict has many vegetations of manggo plants compared to other location. The result shows that there are many choosen access from several villages of subdistrict of Parigi and North Parigi according to characteristic of Morfology, structure, stem, and the leaves structure of Manggo plant which represented by two accesses averagely from each village. At central toboli at 0.695 achieved by two choosen accesses, they are TBI8 and TBI2. Olaya village has two accesses, they are OLY4 and OLY5 and at the combination of those two villages represented by the access of TBI8 and OLY4. Keyword: Anatomy, Mango, Morphology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of economic order, reordering, the amount of safety stock, and the total cost ofsafety stock.Research conducted at Buah Pala St. No. 12 BoyaogeVillage, Tatanga subdistrict, Palu Central Sulawesi in April to May 2016.Respondents were drawn in the study consisted of  3 persons namely 1 leader, 1 employee production, and 1 parts warehousing.The analysis used is EOQ, safety stock, reordering, and total cost of raw materials.The results showed the number of purchasesfor EOQ economical soybeans raw material in Industry Tofu "Vivi" in January-December 2015 average of 23,235.05 kg, with a frequency of purchase once.Reordering performed an average of 5,629.68 kg.Safety stock should be available at 4,102 kg.Total average cost for stockis  Rp. 311,751.23. Keywords: Cost, EOQ, Stock.

Abstract

Soursop (Annona muricata L.) were from North America and spread to the tropics and is one of the fruits with varying properties, ranging from fulfillment source of vitamins and minerals to play a role in the health field. Soursop production in Indonesia is low because not many farmers interested in cultivating remedy because the limitaion in the nursery. One of the obstacles in the nursery soursop is not immediately germinate seeds (dormant), because the seed soursop has a thick skin and hard that is impermeable to water and gases that in hibit germination. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of scarification and KNO3 to induce germination of seeds of soursop. This research was conducted in March-May 2015, at the Laboratory of BKU Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako. This research method using a completely randomized design (CRD) using two-factor treatment, while treatment factors as follows: The first factor is scarification: scarification by removing the skin at the tip of the seed, scarification with sanding one side of the seed, scarification with sanding two sides seed, second factor is the immersion of KNO 3: concentrations of 0.2% KNO 3, KNO 3 concentration of 0.4%, 0.6% KNO3 concentration, concentration of 0.8% KNO 3, obtained: 12 treatment combinations, each combination is repeated three times so there are 36 experimental units. The results showed that interaction scarification and KNO3 treatment significantly affect the germinationand time to germinate. Scarification treatment with sanding one side of the seed and the concentration of 0.4% KNO3 promote better germination based on the germination rate (91.11%)and time to germinate (5.69 days). Keywords: Dormancy, Potassium nitrate, Scarification, Soursop seed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income earned Craff chocolate industry in a variety of processed chocolate business and also to determine the feasibility Choco CraftIndustry in Palu . This study was conducted in February and March 2015. Respondent done intentionally ( purposive ) and respondents drawn amounted to 3 people, and two of those consumers who are expected to impart information that is accurate. The analysis used in this study is an analysis of earnings ( π ) and feasibility.The results showed that the total receipts ( R ) Rp . 5,030,000, while the total cost ( C ) of Rp.3,929,050 , so results of the analysis states that the income earned in Industry Choco Craft processed chocolate for Rp.1,100,950. The results of the analysis also shows that at each increase in the cost of Rp 1.00, - thus Revenue of Cost Ratio of various processed chocolate Industry Choco Craft gained by 1.2 thus a variety of processed chocolate at Choco Craft Industry is feasible to be running. Key Words: Feasibility, Processed chocolate, Revenues.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate an appropriate business development and can be applied to the development of banana chipsin the industry "Flamboyan"  in the Panau village Sub District Tawaeli The Palu City. The number of respondents who were interviewed is 5 people chosen from the parties both internal and external. Respondents from the internal parties i.e. 1 person as leader and 1 person as work force of industry "Flamboyan". Respondents from external parties i.e. 2 persons as consumer and 1  owners similar industry or competitors. An analysis of  SWOT analysis is used. Based on the results of internal and external factors weighting can be concluded that the total score obtained from the reduction of total fakor strengths and weaknesses as 1.36 x-axis  While the score of external factors that are the results of the subtraction between opportunities and threats factors factors as y-axis of 1.14. Based on the analysis of SWOT the position  business development strategy of banana chip  Flamboyan  in quadrant I, then the strategy that is focused to the development that is using S-O strategies i.e. maintain chances of increased product demand, promotion strategies and maintain good relationship with distributor. Key Words:Banana Chips, Development Strategy, Flamboyan Enterprises.

Abstract

This research aims to know the revenue obtained in the business of banana chips Palm sugar industry Flamboyant period of 3 months in order this businesses  reaches breakeven point, or in other words the venture suffered no loss or gain profit. The research was carried out on the industry's "flamboyant" TawaeliSubdistrict of the city of palu. Respondents were drawn from this research consists of 1 leader and 2 employees. The analysis used in the study is the analysis of the break-even Point. The results of the analysis of the breakeven industry "flamboyant" in July is reached at the time of the sales volume reached 391 packaging/150 gr with revenue of Rp.3,910,000,-and for the month of August reached breakeven at the time the sales volume reached 367 packaging/150 gr with revenue of Rp.3,670,000.-. In September reached breakeven at the time the sales volume reached 366packaging/150 gr with revenue of Rp.3,660,000 ,-. Key words: Cost, Breakeven, Revenue, Reception.

Abstract

The objective this research is to analyze financial feasybility to Tofu Home Industrian ‘Talise” based on criteria Net Present Value (NPV), Net B/C Ratio and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). This research was conducting on March to April 2015, respondent in the research choose by porpusive. Respondent in this research consist of 4 people, a leader and three employes, two of them work in production and one else work as marketing. Method of analysis use in this research is analysis finansial feasybility. The result of this research show that value Net Present Valueis Rp13,927,446, Net B/C Rasio 1.40, and Internal Rate of Return25.72 %. The result indicate that “Talise” Tofu Home Industry is feasible.   Key words : Feasibility of  Finansial, Home Industry, Tofu.

Abstract

Agricultural sector in agribusiness insight with its role in national economy provides some excellences that could be considered. Given the nature of agricultural products which are perishable so agroindustry role is indispensable. Mung bean is one of the most popular food in Indonesia, with the scientific name Phaseolus radiates L, which can be found in almost in every region in Indonesia. According to the large number of this agricultural commodity, the opportunity to open a business of refined products is wide open. “RONI” Industrial Pia Cake is one of the household scale businesses which produceMung Bean Pia in Palu City. This business has one product which is Mung Bean Pia, being sold around regions in Palu. This research aims to identify the amount of earned revenue, production output, and sales value received on condition of break even point. This research was conducted at Zebra 5 number 1 street, South Palu District, Palu City of “RONI” household scale business for two months which is from May to June 2016. The data used consist of primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by observation and direct interviews with respondents, namely the business leaders and one of the employees, while secondary data were obtained from literature that are relevant to the purpose of the study. The results showed that revenues of Cake Pia "RONI" in May 2016 amounted to Rp 2,686,109 and acceptance of the break even point conditions gained Rp 13,692,000 from the number of products 17, 115 pieces and the total cost of  Rp 16,033,891. Keywords :  Break-even point, Income,  Industry , Pia Cake

Abstract

Indonesia known as the agricultural Nation,production agricultural products diverse, expected to support the economic growth at present and future. Necessary economic conditions balance between the field of the industry is supported by the agricultural tough. One commodity crops that are capable of supporting the establishment of several industries are green beans. Processing of green beans into the depths contents cake pia. Industry household Cake PIA Rony referred to one of the industry produce cake Pia is an example of the utilization of human resources to improve the income in home industry scale. The purpose of this study is to find out how much revenues and the level of the feasibility on the cake Pia industry household Cake PIA Rony in City. This research has been carried out in the industry household Cake PIA Rony at Jalan zebra 5 Number 1 District of South Palu,Palu city from March to April 2016. Determination of respondents using purpossive. Data used the form of data primary and secondary. Analysis of data that is used is income analysis and feasibility analysis revenue cost ratio. The results shows that revenues of Pia industry household Cake PIA Rony in the Palu Cityis  Rp.6,783,889 per month. Industry household Cake PIA Rony in the Cityof Paluis feasible with the value of R/C of 1.30. Keywords: Cake Pia, Feasibility, Income.
