Abstract

The research aimed to determine the income of corn farming system in Labuan Toposo village, Labuan Sub-District of Donggala District. This research located in Labuan Toposo Village, Labuan Sub-District of Donggala District and conducted from March to May 2015. Respondents were chosen using a Simple Random Sampling technique.  The number of the respondents was 34 people selected from 150 corn farmers.  Data was analyzed using the Income analysis. The research results showed that the production of the corn farming system is IDR 3,932/kg per  one planting season and the average revenue is IDR 15,729,412/ha.  With the average total cost of IDR 9,788,062, the average income of the corn farmer is IDR 5,941,350/ha. Key Word : Corn, farming, and income.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the amount of spores in the age difference cultured fungus Aspergillus sp. local isolates palolo on mortality Helopeltis spp. This research    used experimental methods of design are collated in a completely randomized design (CRD), which is testing the amount spores in each respective age culture 3, 5, 7, and 9 days, and the dose of spores in each age culture from isolates local palolo Aspergillus sp. on the death of test insects Helopeltis spp. The research was carried on in the Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako, from May 2015 to July 2015. The results showed that in treatment P4 (age cultures of 9 days) the amount spores is more that 8.748 x 106sel and has effective power better in a deadly test insects Helopeltis spp. compared with the treatment of breeding age 3 days, 5 days, and 7 days. Key Words: Aspergillus sp., Cocoa (Theobromae cacao), Helopeltis spp.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of Cow Manure on Phospphate Uptake of cabbage in Entisols Sidera. The research used a Randomized Block Design with seven-level treatments ie. S0= control, S1= 10 t ha-1, S2= 20 t ha-1, S3= 30 t ha-1, S4= 40 t ha-1, S5= 50 t ha-1, and S6= 60 tha-1. Each treatment was replicated three times so that there were 21 experimental units. This research used cabbage as an indicator plant with variable observed including soil                   C-organic, Aldd, soil pH, plant dry weight, soil P-total content, concentration of P tissue and  P uptake. Data was analyzed using Regresetion and Corelation. The research result showed that    the cow manure significantly affected the cabbage Phospphate uptake and yield of cabbage plant. Key Words : Cabbage, cow manure, Entisols, P Uptake.

Abstract

Mango (Mangifera indica), is a fruit that comes from India, it has many varieties. Mangoes are generally marketed in the form of fresh, both for domestic and export purposes.       The objectives of this study were to assess the accession mango dodor in Lembah Palu through characterization of morphological and anatomical Toaya and Lero Village Donggala District.      The research method using accessibility method by observing plant morphology character was continued with characterization of diversity using cluster analysis using systat software 0.8.         The results showed that there were several different accessions in each village in Sindue subdistrict based on morphological and anatomical characteristics.The different accessions in Toaya Village   at a distance of 0.6 were obtained TF11, TF9, TF14. Lero village have different accessions, namely LR6, LR14, and LR13 and in Sindue sub-districts TF9, LR6, and LR15. Keywords: Anatomy, Mango, morphology.

Abstract

This research aims to determine growth and yield of two varieties of onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) at various distances planting. In addition to determining the appropriate spacing each variety this study used a randomized block design consisting of: (1) two onion varieties; (V1) = Palu valley variety, (V2) Bima variety, (2) distances planting; (J1) 20 cm x 10 cm, (J2) 20 cm x 15 cm, (J3) 20 cm x 20 cm and (J4) 20 cm x 25 cm. The results showed that the onion varietas bima and the valley of the Palu show the response of different growth and production of the spacing tested. Milky red onion varieties produce the number of tubers, plant fresh weight and fresh weight of tuber/clump heavier than valley Varieties Palu. Spacing tenuous (20 cm x 25 cm) increase crop production individually on both varieties tested, but the cumulative spacing narrow (20 cm x 10 cm) higher production. Bima varieties of onion production in the narrow spacing of 7,55 tonnes/ha while the Palu valley varieties of 2,45 tonnes/ha. Key Words : Varieties, distances planting.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the shape of tomato marketing channel, the amount of margin in each marketing channel, the price part received by the farmer in each marketing channel and the marketing efficiency of tomatoes in each marketing channel. The analysis showed that the marketing margin tomatoes were obtained for the 1 channel IDR 1,000 / Kg and channel 2 which is IDR 1,500 / Kg. The part of the price received by farmers in the channel 1 is 60.00%, and the second channel at 70.00%. Thus, the greatest part of the price received by farmers is on channel 2. Tomato marketing channels in Nupabomba village consists of two channels, namely: 1) Farmers → Trader Gatherer → Trader Retailer → Consumer, 2) Farmers → Traders Retailer → Consumer. In the first channel, part of the price received by farmers amounted to 60.00% efficiency value was 40.00%. On channel 2, section prices received by farmers amounted to 70.00% of the value of efficiency is 30.00%, resulting in more efficient marketing channel is the channel 2. Keywords: Efficiency, marketing, margin,tomato.

Abstract

This research aimed to study the diversity of Arthropod at cabbage crop treated with organic with synthetic insecticides. This research was conducted at three cabbage crops. The first crop cultivated without insecticide (K0), the second crop was treated with 10% Calontropis gigantea (K1), and the third was treated with 5% emamektin benzoat (K2). The insecticides were applied initially at 14 days after planting, and repeated every 10 days until harvest. Observation of the Arthropod was done every one day before insecticides application. Diversity of Arthropod  both, at the crops treated with organic insecticides and without treatment, were higher than those in the crop treated with synthetic insecticides. The diversity level of both treatments namely organic insecticides and control was middle while in the synthetic insecticide treatment the level was low. Key Word : Arthropod, Cabbage, diversity, insecticides.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of Beauveria bassiana on the control of Spodoptera exigua Hubner ( Lepidoptera : Noctuidae ) on shallot crop varieties Palu valley ( Allium wakegi ) . This research was conducted in the village of Sidera , District Biromaru , Sigi and in the Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases ( HPT ) .The research was conducted from April to June 2014. This study was prepared by Group Random Design ( RAK ) with patterns of factorial , consisting of 2 factors with 3 replications , in order to obtain 24 units experiment , with treatments as follows : F1 namely doses : D0 : Without the application of Beauveria bassiana / use distilled water , D1 : 6 grams B.bassiana / L of water , D2 : 8 gr B.bassiana / L of water , D3 : 10 gr B.bassiana / L of water and F2 is the time interval applications with 2 levels : W1 : interval of 5 days and W2 : interval of 7 days . The data were analyzed using analysis of variance ( ANOVA ) and if it shows a marked influence further tested using the Test HSD 5 % . Based on observations indicate that the fungus application B.bassiana significantly affect the intensity of the attacks S.exigua , during the observation time 4,5,6,7 and 8 MST show that the intensity of the treatment D3W1 provide S.exigua the lowest compared to all other treatments at an all-time observation . In observation of 4 MST intensity of the attack only reached 2.02% , on the observation 5MST reached 1.74% , at 6MST 7MST 1.39 % and 1.19 % . In observation of severe crop production ( Table 2 ) showed that the treatment D3W1 (10g / L , 5H ) produced the highest plant weight 143,82g / clump converted can reach 3.60 t / ha-1. Key Words : Beauveria bassiana , a local Shallot Crop Palu , Spodoptera exigua

Abstract

This study aims to map land suitability classes for the development of food crops, especially crops Rice (Oryza sativa) in the Soyo Jaya Subdistrict, Morowali Utara District. This research is useful for information and recommendations about the suitability of land as well a basis for the development of crop cultivation Rice (Oryza sativa). This study was conducted from November to March 2016, located in the Soyo Jaya Subdistrict, Morowali Utara District.             The research method used is a survey method of conducting surveys directly in the field. Grouping of land suitability classes on each unit of land use systems based on the key criteria of land suitability for crops Rice (Oryza sativa).  The results showed that the actual land suitability classes are S3rfne (marginally suitable) with 36,123.54 hectare land area, while the potential land suitability class is S2rfne (appropriately enough) and the actual land suitability classes N1re       (not appropriate at this time) with an area 18,761.58 hectares, while the potential land suitability class is S3re. Key Words :   Land evaluation, land suitability, mapping, paddy rice, Soyo Jaya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of land, seed, fertilizer, labor in corn farming in the village of Labuan Labuan Toposo District of Donggala. It was conducted in November 2015 to January 2016. The analysis of t-test showed that the partial area of land was highly significant with t count> t-table (8.705> 2.485) at a rate of 1% α, seeds significantly with t-count> t-table (8.701> 2.485) at the level of α 1%, fertilizer significantly with t count> t-table (5.319> 2.485) at the level of α 1% and labor significantly with t count> t-table (5.578 > 2.485) at the level of α 1%. Simultaneous analysis test shows land area factor (X1), seeds (X2), fertilizers (X3), and labor (X4) a very significant effect on maize with F-count> F-table (21.523> 4.177). Key Words : Corn, production, The Village of  Labuan Toposo.
