Abstract

This study aims to determine the business development strategies of fish sambal roa right   to apply to Industry "Citarasaku" Tinggede Village District of Marawola Sigi. This research         was conducted in September to October 2015, the number of respondents as many as six people. The analysis tool used is the SWOT analysis, by analyzing internal and external factors of the industry Citarasaku ". The based on the results of SWOT analysis that the position of industrial strategy" Citarasaku "is at kuadran I is at position strategy Strengths - Opportunities (SO), the result showed some business development strategies roa sauce fish appropriate to be applied in the industry "Citarasaku" ie (a) Utilizing the availability of raw materials to increase production in order to capture opportunities in high demand, (b) Utilizing packaging attractive products and prices affordable products in order to capture opportunities through the rapid development of the media campaign, (c) Continue to maintain the quality of their products in order to capture opportunities from the government through the assistance and activities organized by the government as an exhibition. Key Words : Citarasaku, strategy development, SWOT Analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the magnitude of soil erosion rate and erosion hazard index at Kawatuna watershed in Central Sulawesi. The research will contribute information to the government in relation to land-use policies and soil conservation measures. Slope grade map, soil map and land use mapwere overlaid with ArcGIS 10.0, resulted to eleven units of land use include forest land, shrubs, paddy fields mixed farms and settlements. Erosion was occurred at all units of land use except in residential type. The field survey was conducted at seven units of land use to observe the slope length, slope, vegetation dominant, and check those units whether still have potential to practise long-term farming management. Soil sampling is done randomly on each unit of land, three samples were taken from each unit namely disturbed and un-disturbed sampling Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) was used to predict the soil erosion rate. The results showed the erosion that occurs at the watershed Kawatuna is classified at low to moderate level. Low erosion occurs at wetland and forest and the moderate happens at mixed garden, shrub land, and fields. The dominant factor that caused erosion in this region is ground erovisity, followed by crop management and conservation measures.Key Words: Erosion Prediction, Kawatuna Watershed, land use, USLE.

Abstract

Cabbage flowers a vegetable that comes from sub tropical regions.  Temperature range for growth of cabbage flowers that minimum and maximum 15.5 to 18 0C 24 0C, so plants can grow cabbage flowers in lowland and highland. Oxic Dystrudepts was characterized by a high level of soil acidity, nutrient and organic matter is low. One way to increase growth and yield of cabbage flowers crop production by performing fertilization.  Poultry manure used in this study is chicken manure. This study aimed to study the effect of poultry manure on the growth and yield of cabbage flowers (Brassica oleracea var. Bathytis L. ) in Oxic Dystrudepts Lembantongoa.  The research was conducted on October 2014 until February 2015, in the Greenhouse of Agriculture Faculty, Tadulako University, Palu. The soil and the plant analysis were carried out in the Laboratory of Soil Science, Agriculture Faculty, Tadulako University, Palu. The soil for research were taken from Lembantongoa village, Palolo district, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. The researcher applied a random block design and used chicken cage fertilizer as a treatment with seven levels of dose, namely: control, 10t ha-1, 15t ha-1, 20t ha-1, 25t ha-1, 30t ha-1, 35t ha-1. The data were analyzed based on the design used and followed by HSD 5% test. Cabbage flowers plant growth (height , number of leaves , leaf area , chlorophyll , fresh weight of flower/crop, and plant dry weight) was significantly affected by the dose of poultry manure.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the number of reservations raw materials banana economically on industrial households sale banana in the city of Palu, to know the right time to reorder  raw materials, and to know the cost of efficient in every time reservations. This study was conducted on industrial households  “Sofie” in the city of Palu, the determination of location is deliberately (purposive). Research carried out in march until may 2014. The analysis used in this research was descriptive analysis and analysis Economic Order Quantity (EOQ).  The analysis shows that by using the method EOQ the use of raw materials more economical than the use of raw materials uses the company, by using the method EOQ the number of buy raw materials more economical. The average number of the purchase of 245.88 kg, with the frequency of the reservations every month is twice. The total cost issued for supplies stock of Rp.987,566.24, the cost increased because the market demands increaed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the physical, chemical characteristic and organoleptic of jack fruit fast food which marketed in Palu city. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 4 locations selling of jack fruit in Palu city and each locations is represented by 4 seller as a group. So there are 16 experimental units. The parameter consisted of flavor, texture, color, taste, fresh weight of fruit and water content. Analysis of the data using another test, if there are significant differences between the result of the analyze then tested by using advanced testing Honestly Significant Different (HSD) of 5% level. The result showed that location selling of jack fruit influential real toward flavor, texture, color, and taste, but nothing influential real toward fresh eight and water content. Key Words : Characteristic, Jack fruit.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai jenis pupuk organik dan berbagai panjang stek yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan bibit buah naga. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Green House Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tadulako, pada bulan april sampai dengan bulan juni 2015. Penelitian ini mengunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan pola faktorial dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah panjang stek (S) yang terdiri atas 3 (tiga) ukuran yaitu : S1 = 20 cm, S2 = 25 cm, S3 = 30 cm. Kemudian faktor kedua adalah pemberian berbagai jenis pupuk kandang (P) yang terdiri atas 4 (empat) perlakuan, yaitu: Pa = Kontrol, Pb = Pupuk kandang ayam, 50 g/polybag, Pc = Pupuk kandang kambing, 50 g/polybag, Pd = Pupuk kandang sapi, 50 g/polybag. Berdasarkan kedua faktor tersebut, maka diperoleh 12 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali, dan masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas dua polybag, sehingga terdapat 72 unit percobaan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis keragaman (uji F), pada taraf kepercayaan 95% atau α 0,5. Bila perlakuan berpengaruh nyata akan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ) α 0,5.Kata Kunci : Jenis Pupuk Organik, Panjang Stek, Pertumbuhan Bibit Buah Naga.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Seed Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako at the month of March-April 2016, with the aim is to assess the response of germination of some cultivars of upland rice on the different of pressure osmosik PEG (polyethylene glycol) are different, so as to obtain the viability of cultivars of upland rice best. This study was an experimental study compiled by two factors (factorial) using completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor is composed of five different cultivars. The second factor consisted of four treatments PEG 6000 by the difference pressure, ie without PEG = P0, P1 = -1 bar, P2 = -2 bar, and P3 = -3 bar. Thus there will be 16 treatment combinations, and each treatment was replicated four times, so overall there are 64 experimental units. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance (F-Test), if the results of analysis of variance show significant differences, it will be further tested honesnesty significant difference (HSD) at 5%. The results of this study was all the local upland rice varieties still have germinated response until -3 bar osmotic pressure. Tagolu cultivars and Tokalang were higher speed in the germination phase on several different osmotic pressure. Tokalang cultivars are varieties that are tolerant to drought and has the ability to germinate in response to normal even in a state reeling and has the highest average of several variables observation. The application of osmotic pressure in the form of PEG 6000 to -3 bar causing drought stress on the germination phase .

Abstract

This research was conducted in the Village Poboya, the city of Palu, Central Sulawesi. From December 2014 - April 2015, with the aim to determine the growth and yield of cayenne pepper by organic various fertilizers and type of mulch. This study uses (RAK) factorial design with two factors. The first factor is the organic fertilizer (P) consisting of three (3) types: P0 = Without Organic Fertilizer, P1 = Manure Ram, P2 = Bokasi rest of the plant. The second factor is the type of mulch (M) consisting of three (3) types: M0 = Without mulch, M1 = Rice Straw Mulch, Mulch M2 = Coconut Fiber. There are 9 combined treatment, treatment was repeated 3 times. Each treatment combination was represented by two (2) polybag or two plants so that there are 54 units of the plant (polybag). The results showed no interaction between the various types of organic fertilizers and mulch. Organic fertilizer goat fold give the best results of growth and crop yield compared with Bokashi cayenne and without fertilizer. Similarly, rice straw mulch is better than coconut fiber.Key Words: Cayenne pepper, manure goat, rice straw mulch.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the characteristics of mangosteen based on the morphology and anatomy of leaves in the north Morowali District. Morphologhy observations were made in the Olomukunde, Taliwan and Tomata villages. The observations anatomy conducted in the plant pest and disease science laboratory and also in science and seed technology science laboratory, Faculty of agriculture Tadulako University from December-February 2016. The results showed that the character morphology and anatomy observed based on the cluster analyse and presented in the form of a that can be. The results of cluster showed that from 3 villages was yield one-4 acsesi the Morowali Districts, objectives this research was to indicated as first step to be found the random plent. The result of the research indicated the apart 0.7 found 4 groups plant there are on the KA6, KA10, TA10 dan PA2 sample. The lowest stomata index on the leaf from three villages of KA7 sample. The lowest stomata index on the PA9. The highest index of stomata on the PA4 sample and the lowest index of stomata that is TA6 Sample.

Abstract

Industry Tofu "Vivi" is an industry engaged in growing small businesses in the city of Palu. Industry Tofu "Vivi" is engaged in agro-industry, that process agricultural commodities such as soybeans into tofu. Industry Tofu "Vivi" is located at Jln. Buah Pala No. 12 Bayoge Village Tatanga Sub District of the City of Palu, Central Sulawesi. This study aims to determine the level of acceptance and the costs incurred by the Industry Tofu s"Vivi" so that the business carried on to reach break-even point. The results of the analysis of break-even point Industry Tofu "Vivi" in January reached when sales volume reached 8.972 kg with admission of Rp. 37.233.800 million, - and for a February break-even point is reached when the sales volume reached 9.258 kg with admission of Rp. 38.420.700.-. Keywords: Break even point, Industry Tofu "Vivi", Soybeans
