Abstract

This research is a aimed to know the quantity of product, income and revenue shredded chicken industry at Raja Bawang in Palu when  it reaches the Break Even Point. The respondent on this research was chosen purposively, suc as the chaiman and labor to get accurate of the project aim. Breack Even Point Analysis was used as the analyzing tool. Results of research on the product packaging 100 g shredded chicken the revenue amounted Rp 18,750,000/month with a production cost is Rp 13,470,108/month so obtaining an income of Rp 5,279,892/month, whereas for product packaging shredded chicken 200 g revenues counted  Rp18,750,000/month with a production cost is Rp 11,000,274/ month so  obtaining an income of  Rp7,749,726. Break Event Point for shredded chicken packaging 100 g achieved on production of 325 packs at a price of 25,000 packaging then the sales value received is Rp 8,125,000/month, while the break even point for shredded chicken packaging 200 g achieved on the production of 78 packs with price 50,000/packaging then the sales value received is Rp 3,900,000/month.

Abstract

Copra is one of the processing coconut which cultivated by people in Indonesia. This commodity is generally used as a raw material for the manufacture of coconut oil is produced from the flesh of the coconut. Copra is a endoaperm of coconut which has been dried through a process of drying, the moisture content in endosperm about 50% was reduced to only 5-6%. Copra quality can be improved by performing storage the whole fruit in certain time before coconuts processed into copra. The purpose of this research is to know the revenue obtained in the processing of Copra Farmers in Pusungi Village Ampana Tete Sub-District Tojo Una-Una Regency. This research is determined by simple random method (simple random sampling) and Farmer copra populations as much as 102 people and the number of samples obtained as many as 31 respondents.The data used the primary and secondary data. Data analysis is an analysis of income used π = TR-TC. Production data is data processing of Copra in April-July 2016. The results of the analysis showed that the average income of farmers in Pusungi Village Ampana Tete Sub-District Tojo Una-Una Regency is Rp. 4,064,917. Income amounting to Rp. 4,064,917 retrieved from a reduction of between Rp. 9,393,947 reception with total cost amounting toRp. 5,329,030.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of cow Biourine on  Nitrogen (N) uptake of peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.) on Entisols of Sidera. The method used in this research was Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 7 doses and repeated three times so that there are 21 units of experiment. 7 doses of treatment were: B0 = No cow biourine (0 ml/plot), B1 = biourine cow dose of 583 l/ha (Equivalent to 210 ml/plot), B2 = biourine cow dose of 1166 l/ha (Equivalent to 420 ml/plot) B3 = biourine cattle dose of 1749 l/ha (Equivalent to 630 ml/plot), B4 = biourine cow dose 2332 l/ha (Equivalent to 840 ml/plot), B5 = biourine cow dose of 2915 l/ha (Equivalent to 1050 ml/plot), and B6 = biourine cow dose of 3498 l/ha (Equivalent to 1260 ml/plot). Research location in Sidera Village, Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. The cow biourine fertilizer used smells stinging and is brownish blackish coloured and liquid. Based on the results of the research showed that the highest N uptake level was achieved in the application of cow biourine with a dose of 3498 l/ha. The increased dosage of the fertilizer was not followed by an increase in soil pH but increased dose of cow biourine followed by increased C-organic, N-total, dry weight of plants, N concentration in plant tissue and number of plant pods and N uptake in peanut plants.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of cocoa business in North Lambunu Village, Parigi Moutong Regency. The study was conducted from September to November 2017 in North Lambunu Village Bolano Lambunu Sub-District. Samples were taken as many as 32 people from cocoa farming population of 125 people who work on cocoa farming in North Lambunu Village by Simple Random Sampling method. Data analysis used is income analysis. The amount of respondent's income in cocoa farming can be calculated by using the following formula: Π = TR - TC, average production of 871Kg/Ha/Year, average selling price of Rp. 23.000 /Kg, obtained the average revenue of Rp.20.030.738/Ha/Year and production cost Rp.7.308.167/Ha/Year. The average income of respondents from cocoa farming in North Lambunu is Rp.12.722.571/ Ha/Year.

Abstract

This research aims to  find out the added value of Roa fish business become sauce at Sal-Han industry in Palu. The research was conducted on April 2017. Respondens were 5 employee and 1 leader selected. So that total respondens are 6 people. The research used primary and secondary data which were analyzed using Hayami method. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the production of Roa fish sauce at Sal-Han industry on April 2017 used 15 kg Roa fish produced 119.79 kg of Roa fish sauce and produced 726 bottles. The income from the sauce 5.411.460 with profit 41.837 or 93.35%. The added value of sauce production is influenced by the big of output, raw material price, and contribution of ather input.

Abstract

The marketing analysis of “Keripik Melinjo” on the Citra Lestari Production Industry in Palu City. The purpose of this research is to know the form of marketing channels, the magnitude of margin marketing and the level of “Keripik Melinjo’s” marketing efficiency in the Citra Lestari Production Industry in Palu City. Tools of the analysis are descriptive analysts and margin analysis marketing. The magnitude of the margin marketing on the first line from manufacturer to retailers is Rp 2.400, meanwhile on the second line it has no margin marketing, because there is no intermediary trader involved in the marketing, the consumer come directly to the manufacturer to buy “Keripik Melinjo”. The magnitude of the price received by Citra Lestari Production Industry manufacturer on the first channel is 83,33%, while the magnitude of the price on the second channel is 100%. The level of efficiency achieved by manufacturer on the first line is 34,22%, while on the second line is 32,63%.

Abstract

Purple spot caused by the fungus A. porri is an important disease that attacks the shallot crop and causing loss yield in several production centers in Indonesia. Purple spot disease control still use chemical fungicides so it is necessary to control alternative vegetable fungicides. One is the betel leaf vegetable fungicides. Betel leaf have anti fungus characteristic, and anti-oxidants with essential oil component is eugenol 63.39%, 14.05% acetyleugenol. The purpose of this research to determine the effectiveness of betel leaf extract in inhibiting the growth of disease-causing fungus A. porri purple spots on shallots. Implementation of research at the Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases (HPT) Faculty of Agriculture, University Tadulako, Central Sulawesi. Palu. The research began in January to September 2016. The test method respectively betel leaf extract concentration in 2 ml pour into PDA medium. Once solidified, A. porri taken using a ose needle and placed right in the middle. The results showed that the betel leaf extract effectively inhibits the growth of A. porri, the highest concentration in inhibiting A. porri growth is 8%. The result of regression analysis of betel leaf extract concentration toward percentage of inhibition A. porri showed very strong correlation relationship (0,904).

Abstract

The aim is  to determine the effect of moringa seeds as coagulant harvested at various grow altitudes on water quality of the river and to get the best moringa seeds as coagulant that gives the best effect on the quality of palu river water. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) pattern of the factors that altitude grow consisting of 4 levels of elevation which is 36, 177, 340 and 639 m above sea level. Each treatment was repeated 4 times to obtain 16 experimental units. The data were analyzed statistically using variant analysis (ANOVA). If the treatment shows the significant effect or very significant continued with Test Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at level 5 or 1 percent. The results showed that the coagulant moringa seeds were harvested at various grow altitudes showed very sgnificant effect on the quality of river water (pH, electrical conductivity, turbidity and total dissolved solids). Coagulant Moringa seeds of altitude grow 36 m above sea level provides the highest percentage increase of the quality of river water that lowers the pH of river water by 8.24, electrical conductivity 50.40%, turbidity 58.91% and 47.39% total dissolved solids

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income and feasibility in managing coconut into copra. This research has been conducted in Lembomawo village, South Poso City district of Poso regency. Determining the location of the research is done intentionally (Porposive) with the consideration that Lembomawo Village is one of coconut production center. The timing of the research starts from January to February 2017. The analysis used is income and Feasibility Analysis. The results showed that the average income earned by copra farmers was Rp 6,945,484/harvest season. The average variable cost used by copra farmers in their activities was Rp 1,110,890.32 / harvest season and fixed cost of Rp 45,616.62 The result of research indicates that the activity of copra business is Rp. 5,788,976.93 and the copra business feasibility indicates 5.78.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics and preferences of consumers in buying local apples and import apples at Bumi Nyiur Swalayan. This research was carried out at Bumi Nyiur Supermarket that located in S. Parman street Palu City. The location determination is done deliberately (Purposive) with a total of 50 respondents were by technical of Accidental Random Sampling. The analysis used the analysis chi square and analysis multiatribut fishbein. The analysis show that attribute into preferences of consumers of local apples at a price Rp. 30,000 - Rp. 39,999/kilogram, has a sweet taste slightly acid, greenish yellow colour, medium size, crunchy texture watery. On an import apples, attribute into preferences of consumers is a price > Rp. 50.000/ kilogram, sweet taste, reddish yellow colour, big size, crunchy texture watery. The attribute that most consumers consider the purchase decision-making of local apples in a row from the highest to the lowest is price, size, texture, taste and colour. Unlike the import apples which the value attitudes toward the attributes that most consumer consider in a row from the highest to the lowest is taste, size, price, and colour.
