Abstract

Woha Subdistrict Is one of the sub-districts in the district of Bima which has a stunting prevalence rate of (39.65%) higher than the national prevalence (30.8%). Most people in Woha Subdistrict do farming activities to make ends meet. To get a better harvest, the community uses pesticides as the most effective drug for controlling pests. The effect of pesticide exposure is not yet known as a risk factor for stunting in Bima Regency. The objective of this study was to determine whether the history of pesticide exposure as a risk factor for the incidence of stunting in children aged 12-36 months in the working area of Woha Health Center Bima Regency. The study design was a case-control using a retrospective approach in 48 cases (stunting) and 48 controls (normal). Data analysis was carried out in stages including univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyses. The analysis showed three variables that had a significant relationship with the incidence of stunting, namely a history of exposure to pesticides (OR = 3,35; CI = 1,44-7,78; p = 0,008), history of infectious diseases (OR = 3,97; CI = 1,64-9.58; p = 0,003), maternal height (OR = 3,76; CI = 1,60-8,88; p = 0,004. Conclusion low maternal height is the most dominant factor influence the incidence of stuntingKeywords: Stunting, exposure to pesticides, infectious diseases, maternal height.

As many as 30% people aged 30-35 years, 30% people aged 41-45 years, 25% people 36-40 years and 15% people aged 46-50 years old experience low back pain myogenic which can affect the ability of functional activity. One of the treatments of myogenic low back pain is workplace stretching active dynamic back exercise. Objective: The study aims to determine the effect of stretching active dynamic back exercise workplace on increasing functional activity of myogenic low back pain in tailors. Method: The research employed quasi experimental design with pre and posttest one group design. The sampling techniques was purposive sampling. The research samples were tailors aged 30-55 years with a total sample of 20 people consisting of 1 group. The intervention was carried out for 2 weeks. The measurement of functional activities ability used Oswestry disability index (ODI). The data analysis used paired sample t-test. Result: The paired sample t-test obtained p-value = 0.000 (p <0.05), meaning that there was an effect of workplace stretching active dynamic back exercise on increasing functional activity of myogenic low back pain in tailors. Conclusion: There is an effect of workplace stretching active dynamic back exercise on increasing the functional activity of myogenic low back pain in tailors. Suggestion: Further researchers are expected to be able to control the work attitude of the respondents to get more significant result of functional activity changes. Keywords: Workplace Stretching Active Dynamic Back Exercise, Low Back Pain Myogenic, Tailor, Oswestry Disability Index.

Abstract

The Integrated System for Recording and Reporting (ISRR) Sukamerindu Public Health Center of Bengkulu there are several problems, namely the provision of inaccurate data / information, reporting that is often not timely and there is no standard mechanism. This study aims to analyze the application of ISRR from the aspect of input (human resources, funding, equipment), process (recording, reporting), and output (presentation of data & information, dissemination, utilization). The research method is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach through in-depth interviews with 3 key informants and 6 ordinary informants. Data processed by the Content analysis method and SWOT analysis to determine the formulation of strategies for the problems found. The results showed that ISRR Sukamerindu Public Health Center had not run optimally, this was due to lack of human resources, lack of coordination between data managers and program holders, lack of equipment, manual recording and recapitulation with personal laptops, there were still delays in sending reports and data became less accurate. The data presentation is more complete, the distribution is only to the Bengkulu Department of Health, and the data is used for evaluation for health policy stakeholders. To improve the performance of the implementation of ISRR Sukamerindu Public Health Center researchers suggested that the Bengkulu Department of Health further enhance its collaboration with Public Health Centers by optimizing communication and conducting planned and continuous training to get skilled and professional human resources in ISRR management. Keywords: Analysis, Public Health Center, Recording, Reporting, Syste

Abstract

Background: Breastfeeding mothers are prone to anemia due to a decrease in maternal iron during breastfeeding and blood loss during labor. Hemoglobin is a protein that contains iron in red blood and functions to carry oxygen from the lungs to all body tissues. The plateau has an influence on hemoglobin levels which can cause hypoxia due to reduced oxygen partial pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences of hemoglobin levels in breastfeeding mothers in mountainous areas (Sumowono) and coastal areas (Bandarharjo). Samples was found 33 breastfeeding mothers in mountains areas and 22 breastfeeding mothers in the coastal. Method of this research used design analytic observational was cross sectional design, selection of sample with purposive sampling. This study uses statistical analysis of Mann Whitney with ?=0.05. The result of this study get p value 0.278 where p > ? = 0.05, then Ho was accepted and can concluded that there were no differences hemoglobin levels of breastfeeding mothers in mountains and coastal areas. The conclusion of this study is average level of hemoglobin levels in breastfeeding mothers in mountains areas and coastel are no different. Keywords: Hemoglobin, Anemia, Breastfeeding Mothers, Mountains Areas, Coastal
