Abstract

Ongoing technological developments have brought progress in the form of online sales applications. This online sales technology is often also referred to as E-Commerce. Services at the Sinar Bukhari Store for resellers who want to buy goods are still manual and simple, the sales process still uses the WhatsApp group, making it difficult for resellers and also for the shop if there are purchases of goods simultaneously. Resellers also have trouble ordering if the admin they contact is inactive, if new items are sent via the WhatsApp group, the old items will be buried in the group, making it difficult for resellers to order items that have been stockpiled. Then the solution to the problem where the E-Bukhary shop application will be made with a website-based business to business (B2B) model uses the application of prototyping techniques which make plans quickly and gradually so that potential users tend to be quickly assessed. In the E-bukhary shop application, there is a shop feature that involves admins and resellers to simplify the sales process according to the items available. through trials using black box testing in terms of interface scale 1-5 the value is 88% with very good assessment criteria, in terms of application performance a score of 88.8% is included, including very good criteria. in terms of the application database, a score of 86.6% was generated which included very good assessment criteria, then on the missing or damaged application function aspect, a value of 90% was produced in very good criteria, the last on the termination aspect resulted in a value of 86.2% or in very good criteria

Abstract

The increasing need for swift information dissemination in line with modern technological advancements has emphasized the importance and significant impact of data analysis and processing as relevant academic disciplines. These processes encompass data acquisition from various sources, either through direct collection or extraction methods. Among the most crucial and widely utilized techniques for extracting data from the internet is web scraping, particularly when gathering data for research maintenance during the consolidation of multiple institutions into BRIN (National Research and Innovation Agency). Challenges emerge in effectively integrating existing research into a unified system without proper upkeep, as neglecting maintenance can lead to system degradation and hinder access to stored research. Successful maintenance necessitates centralized repositories for researchers' work data. The implementation of semantic annotation recognizing techniques within the web scraping feature of the E-Publishing website holds the potential to expedite this process. The use of web scraping promises to significantly simplify research data collection, while semantic annotation recognizing techniques are poised to streamline implementation, particularly due to the XML data foundation within the Open Archives Initiative (OAI) system. In the context of institution merging and research sustainability, technologies like web scraping and semantic annotation recognizing play pivotal roles in addressing these challenges.

Abstract

Technology is now an indispensable part of work across all fields and locations. For instance, in fish cultivation and among ornamental fish enthusiasts, technology plays a pivotal role in regulating and notifying when ornamental fish's environmental conditions require attention. This includes monitoring and alerting for cleaning or feeding needs. Ornamental fish are particularly sensitive, often carrying a higher price tag. Due to their susceptibility to stress and their relatively costly nature, those involved in ornamental fish cultivation and collection frequently face significant losses. These losses can occur when fish are collected, raised, and fall ill or, in the worst-case scenario, die. In response to these challenges, technological innovations have emerged to simplify the monitoring of ornamental fish's environmental conditions. This is achieved through IoT-based solutions accessible anytime and anywhere via the web. These innovations incorporate three primary sensors: pH sensors, clarity sensors, and temperature sensors. Additionally, Thingsboard is used to facilitate real-time monitoring of sensor data. These aquarium monitoring systems for ornamental fish hold the potential to enhance fish welfare and health, mitigate risks, and provide hobbyists and professionals with a more effective and informed experience in maintaining ornamental fish. However, it's important to note that the success of this system relies heavily on the quality of hardware, meticulous software development, and a profound understanding of the specific needs of ornamental fish

Abstract

In this paper, we study how to overcome the urgency of flooding that occurs suddenly around the city of Gresik using wireless sensors with fuzzy logic to support Gresik smart city. The process of making flood alarm detection is very difficult to solve. To overcome this, we propose the use of wireless sensors using fuzzy logic in flood-prone areas. Fuzzy logic is used to process sensor data to find more accurate results to improve accuracy and efficiency. Two sensors are installed at the flood warning test point, using Wemos D1 MINI / NodeMCU so that the IoT network can be connected to the server. The data obtained from the measurement results are processed using fuzzy logic. Fuzzy will provide flood warnings automatically when the height is 30 cm and above. The method used is qualitative and product development research. The results after conducting 100 trials showed that there were six cases of errors in reading the water level, so that from the trial an error of 6% was obtained from the sensor made and a success accuracy of 94% was obtained. The research conducted concluded that the research results were as expected. In this way, public safety against sudden flood events will increase.

Abstract

The significance of occupational health in culinary settings, particularly kitchens, is paramount due to the inherent health risks associated with these environments. This study addresses the necessity of maintaining optimal environmental conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and air quality, in kitchens to safeguard worker health. To achieve this, the study advocates for the implementation of sophisticated ventilation and air conditioning systems. The core focus of the research is the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and advanced machine learning algorithms for the real-time monitoring and assessment of kitchen environments. Specifically, the study fine-tunes and evaluates several classification algorithms, including Decision Trees (DT), Support Vector Machines (SVM), and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), aiming to accurately predict and manage kitchen conditions. The comparative analysis reveals that the DT algorithm outperforms others, demonstrating exceptional accuracy (97.41%), precision (95.35%), and proficiency in identifying relevant scenarios (88.57%). In contrast, the KNN algorithm registers the lowest accuracy (75.12%), while the SVM algorithm, despite being the least precise (86.55%), shows a relatively higher capability in recognizing pertinent cases (86.55%) compared to KNN (72.33%). This study underscores the potential of integrating IoT and machine learning in enhancing occupational health standards in kitchen settings.

Abstract

Information technology is developing rapidly and has a significant role in various aspects, one of which is making decisions to evaluate employee performance. Employee performance assessment is an important activity and is often carried out by companies to determine employee performance in a certain period. A company's progress is greatly influenced by the good and bad of the system that is running. The decision support system can improve and influence the assessment of existing performance in the company. If the decision support system is inadequate, it can lead to errors in decision-making. This research was conducted at PT. App Inti provides enthusiasm and motivation to employees, and the company performs performance assessments every six months, which will influence the adjustment of employee salary increases. However, the current assessment process still uses simple methods and often experiences difficulties assessing performance, making the assessments less effective. Because errors and inaccuracies often occur during assessments, to make it easier for companies to make decisions and help solve these problems, a decision support system was designed using the TOPSIS method. The TOPSIS is a multi-attribute decision-making method often used to complete practical decisions. Then, the results can be considered and help the company determine a decision based on the alternatives and criteria that the company has decided. Then, the results of this research can help companies determine which employees are more visible during the assessment. Then, the TOPSIS ranking results are used to adjust salary increases that have been selected by the company, thereby helping companies make decisions more quickly. Keywords: Performance Appraisal, Decision Support System, TOPSIS
