Abstract

The fundamental difference between men and women is seen in terms of  biology and anatomy. Viewed from the aspect of biological male has advantages compared with women. Men have a sturdy and strong muscle, while women are more delicate. Anatomically, men do not have a uterus for pregnancy, while women have a uterus so that it is possible to conceive and bear children. With the difference that the role of men and women also differ. Some argue that the role of men is to earn a living for his family, while the task of women is pregnant, giving birth and raising children, as well as housewives. But this role is changing. Abstract

Percieve of justice is most important factor to support an employ’s activ- ity. Percieve Justice has influenced to health, organization commitment, job satisfaction and productivity. In fact most discrimination toward women employees has accurs. But, teoritically, women are more tolerant than men in injustice situation. It is cause in our society has sex role, has derived what kind behaviors that does by women and men. Abstract

In terms of Indonesian women’s health services are still treated unfairly and still are the number two. It can be seen from the report reporting Indonesia Human  Development Report 2005 on maternal mortality rate (MMR) delivery, which is currently listed at number 307 out of every 100,000 live births. This shows that the government has not seriously and equitable in the provision of health services particularly for women. Maternal mortality can be used as indicators of poor health services received by mothers and children and low access to information owned by mother and child.Keywords: Perempuan, Human Development Report, Angka Kematian Ibu, Indikator dan Kesehatan.

Abstract

For centuries, the discourse of knowledge has been built on the experience, expression of thought, and perception of men about the world. While life experience, ideas, thoughts, and the need of space for women are relatively marginalized. This paper was about to reveal ‘symbolic violence’ in the un- derstanding and interpretation of settlement space in the public taneyan lanjhang Sumenep Madura. This violence is male initiated by dictating how to think, act, even how to construct a space for women. With the unfolding of ‘symbolic violence’ in the settlement of this taneyan lanjhang, we must be careful in designing architectural space and try to focus on the design- conscious gender.Keyword: Politik Ruang, Taneyan lanjhang, ’Kekerasan Simbolis’

Abstract

Gender gap was influenced mathematical ability between boys and girls. Stereotypes about women’s position lower in mathematics is a contrasting landscape and different from the data and scientific facts. The result of re- search in 69 countries with gender equality shows that teenage girls tend to have a math test scores higher. In addition, young women also tend to do about the matter of better and more confident in their ability in the field of math. The results of this study also showed that young women have the same ability with young men when they are given an equal education, espe- cially in mathematics.Keywords: kesenjangan gender, matematika, stereotip, data dan fakta ilmiah.

Abstract

This research describing the role of the mother that very central in assisting children’s learning activities through the concept of mentoring that focuses on the uniqueness of each individual. Abstract

The role of women in our country today has grown rapidly in all fields, in- cluding the development of science and technology. It is not separated from service Raden Kartini Maya memeperjuangkan have equal rights between men and women. But on the other hand it must be admitted also that in fact there are still wide gaps between groups of highly educated women to men on how to view on the role of women in science and technology devel- opment. Abstract

The development of science and technology influence all aspects of life. The development is not only dominated by men but also by women. Women are considered as the user of the invention of science and technology while men are the inventor. Men, explicitly, pose role in the process of science and tech- nology. However, scientists propose findings that show women’s identity of technology. It is predicted by those who are concerned with women issues that there will be more women involving in the process of inventions in sci- ence and technology.
