The subjects of this study were 84 subjects of tutoring center with an age range of 9 to 11 years and carried out incidental sampling. Parenting style scale made by Gafoor and Kurukkan (2014). Achievement motivation scale made by Steinmayr & Bergold (2016) and). Data were analyzed with nonparametric Spearman correlation. The resultsin this study indicate a significant positive relationship between the parenting style with achievement motivation (r = 0.591; 0.001 <0.050). Most of the subjects have a high level of responsiveness and demandingness with hope for success that is classified as high and fear of failure that is classified as low.

Abstract

This research aims to know the relationshipbetween subjective well-beingwith academic stress. The dimensions of subjective well-being are positive affect, negative affect, and life satisfaction.Participants of this research were43 postgraduate studentsusing purposive sampling and snowball sampling methods. The scales used were Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA), Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE), andSatisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS).Data was analysed using SPSS 22 and Pearson correlations. Results showthere are negative correlations between life satisfaction with academic stress(r = -0,427, p = 0,004)and betweenpositive affect with academicstress(r = -0,406, p = 0,007).These results means higher levels of life satisfaction and positive affect correlated with lower levelsof academic stress. This research also find negative affect and academic stress are positively correlated (r = 0,498, p = 0,001), which meanshigher levels of negative affect correlated with higher levels of academic stress. It is advised to build a good social relationship to help students coping with stress.

The result of this studey find there in no significant relationship between teacher teaching skill and academic achievement, this study obtained sign of 0,988 (> 0,05) which means there is no significant correlation between teacher teaching skill and academic achievement towards deaf students. Academic achievement is not only relate with teacher teaching skill but ther is another factor that could influence academic achievement, like parent and friends factor. From this study, an advice that researcher could give was during the learning process, theacher can controll speed in speaking, so students can understand it well.

Abstract

Abstract - DM is a complex chronic disease that requires treatment continuously so that the achievement of blood glucose control requires the variety factors of a strategy to reduce the risk of DM such as modification of dietary patterns, physical activity, and blood glucose control. The initial step in the prevention of DM is to get the patient's level of consciousness, namely by getting an overview of knowledge, attitudes and practice in patients with DM type 2especially who received insulin therapy mainly due to the perception related to the use of insulin, as well as knowing its relation to blood glucose control. This research was conducted by observation through structured interviews and the data collection process conducted cross-sectional study in patients with DM type 2 at Rumah Diabetes Ubaya receiving insulin therapy and had data of HbA1c. From the research conducted, the result that picture of the knowledge, attitudes and practice of the patients included in either category with a percentage of 89.47%, 57.89% and 100%. Overall HbA1c blood glucose control is poor (68.42%) with a value of at least 7%. There is no significant relationship between knowledge, attitude and practice towards the levels of HbA1c, but from the values of contingency, the greatest relationship lies in the attitude with HbA1c levels. Keywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Practice, DM type 2 , Insulin.

Health care transition is the one of risk mismatches treatment. This will affect the continuity of care the patient and also impact the quality of health services. Purpose: to determine the level perception and concerns about continuity of care patient diabetes mellitus type 2 in the east and south Surabaya clinics that use BPJS Kesehatan. The variables are the level of continuity if care on the type informational continuity, management continuity and relational continuity. And the problems in the continuity of care related transfer of information, coordination of care, ease of access to each level of care, and the relationship between patients and health professionals. The level of continuity of care can be measured by interview using a questionnaire CCAENA. Conclusion: 25 patients at the clinic in the research results is the level of continuity of care: 84% is very high (informational continuity: 72% is very high, management continuity: 84 % is very high, relational continuity: 92% is very high). Problems often occur there in continuity management is a long queue at hospital. While in clinic has no problems and lack participation of pharmacists in patient care.

Abstract

Abstract - Some geriatric patients have difficulty in swallowing tablets, resulting non-compliance issues on patient. Respond from the issues, people developed an oral dosage tablet which easily become soft and rapidly disintegrate in mouth which called orally disintegrating tablet (ODT). Atenolol is one of the anti-hypertension drugs. Atenolol is classified as antagonist selective β1 receptor class that gives the effect of anti-hypertension with low bioavailability, it is necessary to change atenolol dosage forms become ODT to increased absorption of the drug in the body. To accelerate the disintegration time (less than 3 minutes) is used disintegrant sodium starch glycolate with concentration of 0% and 20%. The method that used in the tablet’s manufacture is a direct compresssion. The result of the ODT evaluation, tablet dispersion time in vitro, wetting time , water absorption ratio, and dissolution test with its parameters include (AUC, ED and kr) were analysed statistically using one way ANOVA. There a significant difference (α = 0,05) between the formulas that using sodium starch glycolate 0% and 20% in terms of tablet’s dispersion time in vitro, wetting time, water absorption ratio, dissolution test with its parameters include (AUC, ED and kr). The formula that gives the best result is the one that using 20% disintegran sodium starch glycolate because disintegration time in 19,85±0,95 seconds, tablet’s dispersion time in vitro 29,00±1,00 seconds, wetting time 23,33±1,53 seconds, water absorption ratio 555±28,45%, TQ% 1,41 minutes, the Q% 90,64±0,44%, AUC 10134,52±29,49% minutes, ED 84,45±0,27%, and kr 0,0056/minutes.

Abstract

Abstract-Optimization of health care has been the major requirement of health care facilities, especially at the era of National health insurance. Optimization of health care presented by the rational, evidence-based, and cost-effective use of medicines that should be evaluated regularly. Evaluation of national formulary application in hospital is part of drug use evaluation, to ensure that patients receive the most evidence-based and cost effective drugs in their medication. Beside of national formulary application evaluation, it also important to evaluate antibiotic consumption, as the prevention of antibiotic resistance, since the resistance of antibiotics influenced by the irrational use of antibiotics. Purpose of this study is to evaluate the application of national formulary, and antibiotics consumption in Marsudi Waluyo Hospital. This study design IS descriptive exploratory retrospective nature. Data were collected from Drug Use Evaluation (EPO) report in 2016. Result of this study showed that suitability percentage between drug use in 2016 and national formulary is 57,04%. Antibiotics consumption calculated by Defined Daily Dose (DDD) 100 patient-days method. Result showed that total value of DDD/100 patient days of those antibiotics is 350,86. The highest DDD value is ofloxacin, i.e: 49,46. The DDD values found in this study indicate a possibility of inappropriate use of antibiotics.
