Abstract

This research aims to know how to implement seven tools and FMEA method in CV. Babypro. Conducted observations inform that there are defects situated in the production cycle, that is the amount of defects resulted which are over the limit set by the firm, 3%. The result shows that the production cycle is still out of control and the highest defects generated by machine hemming. The corrective actions suggested to the firm are making the SOP that will discipline the workers, keeping the machine maintenanced periodically, revising the partnership contract with the supplier and the outsourcing firm, and developing clean habit to the workers.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of cash conversion cycle (CCC), accounts receivable conversion period (ACP), inventories conversion period (ICP), and accounts payable deferral period (APP) as independent variable to firm value of non-financial firm (eight sectoral) listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange as dependent variable. The research uses quantitative perspective with linier regression and model in a panel data for all of the research’s observation that used in this research. The number of observation in this research are 945, consists of 189 firms that has been enlisted on Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2012-2016 period. The result shows that cash conversion cycle (CCC), accounts receivable conversion period (ACP), and inventories conversion period (ICP) have negative significant effect onfirm value. Beside accounts payable deferral period (APP)appears to be having no significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

Based on the problems that exist in the company, the purpose of this study was to determine how to control the quality of birdnest at CV LVS Probolinggo using the New Seven Tools to minimize defects that occur. New Seven Tools method begins by identifying the root causes of the company and then assign efforts to find a solution that could be done by the company. In this study, the tools used were affinity diagram,relation diagram, tree diagram, matrix diagram, priority matrix, arrow diagram danprocess decision program chart (PDPC).

Abstract

The design of this dosage management information system has the purpose to support PT. Oasindo Raya in making the decision on the process of buying and selling to be more effective and efficient, The drafting is necessary because PT. Oasindo Raya still uses the conventional way of managing its business especially in the recording process so that it becomes less effective and efficient regarding the process of buying and selling its products. A stock management information system is needed to develop the company better in its operational processes. With the design is expected to produce the information needed for decision making quickly and appropriately in order to develop the business of PT. Oasindo Raya in the future. This design applies System Development Life Cycle with 8 stages and uses the addition of Electronic Data Proccessing (EDP) that is with Software Inventory that requires hardware, software, users and database used to run well as expected. The draft regulates the recording of the process of purchasing, selling, inventory stock at the beginning and ending and all the processes related to the stock of both out and coming in PT. Oasindo Raya. The design of this management information system shows that the addition of EDP can improve the operational process of PT. Oasindo Raya is more effective and efficient because all the necessary information can be known quickly and accurately.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Perceived risk, Per Waitning Time, Perceived Inconvenience Transaction to Abandon Shopping Cart. The object used is Tokopedia, as it is the largest original Indonesian online store. The results of this study show that Perceived risk has no positive effect on Abandon shoping cart, Positive Time Waiting Feelings of Abandon shoping cart, Perceived Inconvenience Transaction Positive to Abandon shoping cart.

Abstract

The main objective of the firm is to maximize the shareholders’ wealth, though in order to achieve that, the directors sometimes misuse his authority to fulfill his own desires and neglecting shareholders’ interest. Good corporate governance needed to minimalize the conflict of interest in the firm. The corporate governance can determine firm’s capital structure especially when it comes to leverage. Leverage can be used as bonding mechanism to control directors, so the directors can act corresponding to the firm’s objective.This research wants to analyze the influence of corporate governance (audit committee size, board size, CEO tenure, director independence, profitability, size, growth) to capital structure (leverage). This research uses quantitative perspective in a panel data. The number of observation in this research are 305 observations, consist of 61 firms (14 firms from Indonesia, 6 firms form Thailand, 6 firms from Singapore, 35 firms from Malaysia) that enlisted for 2012-2016 period.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors that affect entrepreneurial intention of students such as educational factor, relationship factor and self confidence factor from students of Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Surabaya.This study uses the quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents. Software used to analyze data is SPSS 18 for Windows and IBM Amos 22 for Windows. Sample in this research is student of Faculty Business and Economics of University of Surabaya. Dependent Variable in this research is entrepreneurial intention. Independent variables in this study consist of educational support, relationship support and self confidence. The study found that educational support has a positive significant effect on entrepreneurial intention from students of Faculty of Business and Economics University of Surabaya. Relationship support has a positive significant effect on entrepreneurial intention from students of Faculty of Business and Economics University of Surabaya. Self confidence has a positive significant effect on entrepreneurial intention from students of Faculty of Business and Economics University of Surabaya.

Abstract

The step of production process at CV. Pakis Karunia in Gresik, based on the type and amount of disability during the paper bag production process the company has experienced losses from the amount of production per month. Therefore, this study can be used to know implementation of quality control using seven tools. Analysis of quality control using seven tools such as check sheet, histograms, pareto diagrams, cause-effect diagrams, and control diagrams. The tools will be implemented into the CV. Pakis Karunia in Gresik. The results of histogram showing proportion defect in many variants. Fromcause-effect diagram the analysis, it can be seen the factors that cause defects in products derived from materials, machinery, human, work methods and environment, so that company can take corrective action to overcome it. From the analysis of the map control indicates that production is outside of the limits of control.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of working capital management on the profitability of company on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period 2012-2016. In order to know the relationship occur among the independent variable (number of days account receivable, number of days inventories, and number of days account payable) on Return of Assets using the multiple linear regression analysis model to analyze the data. The target population of this study are all non-financial companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016 which are equal to 1335 observation. The control variables that were used in this study for measurement of working capital management are firm size, growth and financial debt (leverage). The research finds that number of days account receivables, number of days account payable, size, and debt affect profitability negatively. On other hand, growth affect profitability positively.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the determinants of capital structure for non-financial companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. Variables which use are size, tangibility, growth, profitability, andnon-debt tax shield. The related theories being used in this research are pecking order theory,trade off theoryandagency theoryThis research uses the quantitative approach and multiple linear reggresion to analyze the data. The target populations of this study are all non-financial companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016 which are equal to 1420 year observations.The research finds that size, tangibilityandprofitabilityaffect capital structure negatively. On the other hand, growthandnon-debt tax shield affect capital structure positively.
