Abstract

  Microsoft released a sensor called Kinect, a gaming control functions as an alternative in which the user can move freely to use his body when interacting with virtual menu or playing games. One example of Kinect Sports : Boxing, the game is not including the measurement display of speed and power punches.Based on the existing problems then will be proposed for an application that can calculate the speed and power of a punch using Kinect sensor technology , Calculation of speed and power punches using a series of formulas to calculate the speed and kinetic energy . Then the value resulting from the calculation become performance parameters during training session , and then the value of the performance will be made by comparing each rank highest value that has been created in the previous exercise in order to found a new highest score .Based on the results of this research and by making use of Kinect technology that jab punch force can be measure from its velocity and energy , to then be used as an assessment of the exercise that has been carried out . But Kinect technology itself still has limited movement in the form of respite captured by the sensor and there is noise in the depth-sensor .

Abstract

Archives is an important documents in Rumah Sakit Bedah Surabaya (RSBS) for support in decision-making can also be used as evidence when problems occur and can also be made into accountability and bureaucratic transparency at the RSBS. Considering the importance of archives in rsbs then archives should not be damaged, lost and distribution of archives should be punctual to the destination department. But the conditions in RSBS archives frequent damage, lost and the distribution of an archive of being late. To overcome the obstacles in the archiving, the archives needs to be converted into digital data archives to minimize damage, loss of archives and can be distributed in a timely manner to the destination department. With this requirement it needs to make archive management information system in the RSBS. Archive management information systems have been tested to thirty users with questionnaires using likert scale and assessment testing information systems directly. Based on the results of questionnaires and tests, obtained a score ratings average 4.17 and archives can converted into  digital archives and can distribute the archive in a punctual manner to the destination department . So it can be concluded that the archive management information systems can be used to manage the archive RSBS.

Abstract

Dewi Sinta Hotel and Restaurant is a hotel in the Tanah Lot Temple area, Bali. Dewi Sinta Hotel and Restaurant is the first hotel in Tanah Lot Temple. This hotel has problem about service quality to customer satisfaction. Dewi Sinta Hotel and Restaurant need tool or application for analyze impact of service quality to customer satisfaction and then solve the problem. The application has quality service dimensions in customer satisfaction questionnaire. This application focus for analyze customer satisfaction questionnaire with multiple linear regression method. This application can result customer characteristic information and impact of service quality to customer satisfaction. The information will help managers for evaluation process about service quality in Dewi Sinta Hotel and Restaurant.

Abstract

Innovative Learning Center (ILC) is an English course that was founded in 2007 with a vision to improve the English language skills in aspects of  learning such as listening, speaking, writing, reading and grammar as well as being the leading English language tutoring in Sidoarjo. In ILC, system that handle administrative processes is already exist using Excel but considered inadequate. There is a lack of useful reports for management for the purpose of measuring the performance of ILC within certain period. In addition to said problem, there are also other problem where the tutors are having insufficient information about the performance of their class. During the teaching session, the tutors teach without knowing each student’s progress. The result is that students who have poor grades can’t be known early. Other problems also arise from the students and parents caused by lack of communication between the ILC with parents. As a result, parents are often misinformed about the development of their academic activities. Therefore, to resolve these problems, there is a need to build an Academic Information System that manage information of students, academic information and  financial information. The Academic Information System must be capable of producing useful reports about ILCs performance and financial information for the owner. The System must also capable of providing class academic information for tutors and student academic information to parents or students. Academic Information Systems can provide the information needed by the owner, tutors and students.

Abstract

Abstract: STIKOM Surabaya is a university that focus in computer science. Now, STIKOM Surabaya has ransaction data more than 10 years that saved in its database. That data never been used optimally cause data never been transferred to data warehouse. With all of this data, it makes STIKOM Surabaya rich of data but poor with information so that every decision cannot be taken well and quickly. Reports that management required always be populated from transactional data and it takes long time because relationship in transactional data is not suitable with reporting. Each time new report requested by management, it will also takes longer time because user must track each table to make that report. Data warehouse is a solution that can make reports faster and more accurate. Transactional data will be transferred to data warehouse and will be organized so that every reports that management requested can be fulfill immediately. This system can help STIKOM Surabaya to populate academic reports and can also fulfill accreditation requirement for the government in the fastest way.

Abstract

Ridho Rizki Employees Cooperative a credit union that aims to provide storage services and lending capital to the surrounding community Karangmojo village. Areas of the business process scope Employees Cooperative Ridho Rizki is, cash loans, savings, compulsory savings and voluntary savings. In the process of lending cash, a cooperative judge of eligibility or the total penalty payment history, amount of loan, collateral value, and the value of their business, then if deemed appropriate by the owner of the loan will be realized. However, problems that occur in the cooperative over the years is the presence of the owners are not there so that the loan application is in the cooperative accumulate and can not be realized by the owner. Besides the problem that also occurred in the cooperative is the assessment of any owner in realizing loans are subjective, resulting in some customers in arrears installment payments already overdue. Resolve the issue then be made an eligibility determination decision support system that is able to replace the loan customers of the assessment process owners and provide a precise calculation in assessing the feasibility of loan customers. Methods which can support the decision are Fuzzy logic, because the data and installment payments on the cooperative nature of non-linear so that it can be modeled and calculated exactly.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is how to determine a good/fit new agent. To determining the fit area using Gravity Location Model ( GLM ) model to get the point of the fit area and use Analytical Hierarchy Process ( AHP ) model to get ranked best candidate agent . This should consider several variables such as distance, volume of demand , cost and distance of the two areas is less than 5 km. After obtained a suitable area to be opened next agent then takes variables such as the price and capacity of each customers warehouse in a radius of 500 meters to be modeled. If GLM result is no customers on radius fit, then the application will take three customers that have the shortest distance to the point . After getting the prospective agent by area fit, the AHP calculation is performed which results will be sorted decline so we would get the best ranking candidate agent . The purpose of this research is to build an application that is able to model the data to the GLM model and AHP to generate new good/fit candidate agents. The results showed that using pieces of GLM model and AHP is able to provide the best alternative agent in accordance with the companys business objectives . The results of this study show that : the first condition of the application was able to retrieve all customer data within fit radius when fit point falls in the region with the coordinates contained -3.585538052, 114.7174578 . Second condition  is when the fit radius have no customer, then the application will take 3 the closest customers on coordinate radius -3.60041056, 114.7055044. AHP calculation process will be done when the results of the GLM calculations have been done . Prospective new agent based GLM condition 1 , obtained id 84023 customers with the best value 31 % , id 84 026 customers with the best value 21%, customer id 84025 with the best value 20%. While the new candidate agents based GLM condition 2 , obtained id 84 031 customers with the best value 35 % , id 84046 with the best value 33% and customer id 84034 with the best value 32%. Abstract

Since 1997, CV Terbit Terang had stood manufacturing in the printing and publishing house. During the company operates, in determining the selling price of the company using by basic estimates. The estimates of selling price is fourth or fifth times from the estimated cost of production per unit. This can be happen because the company estimates the determination of the selling price to cover other costs that are not identified in the manufacture of a product. Based on determination of estimated selling price, it be affected the CV. Terbit Terang sales and make sales figures decreased for 40%  . This problem can be seen in the period 2008-2009The sales decline in the company can be overcome by application of selling price determination. The approach taken with the establishment of systems and applications to determine the selling price based on the total cost. Implementation of the method in this applications can give information desired profit. It will be obtained based on refund targets that have been invested from the calculation markup.Based on test , the applications is using data from CV. Terbit Terang, which made the system can determine the selling price to the total cost method. With the selling price is determined, then in subsequent periods CV. Terbit Terang obtain selling price based on the profits of the company targeted investment costs.

Abstract

Abstract : PT. E-T-A Indonesia is one of E-T-A German subsidiary that supply a circuit breaker for electro-mechanical and electro for a variety of industrial applications. At now, all departments that handle the claims should always check and open a files that integrated by Local Area Network (LAN) to determine the claims that will be done. Besides, the information from claims monitoring has not available yet. That problem can make the claims handling process has been delayed and can decrease the impact level on customer satisfaction. Based on that problems, this research will design and implement claims handling control information system to provide the monitoring claims information using administrative workflow systems methods that can help to control the timing of the claims handling process. This information system is build based on web. Web is used to provide the monitoring information claims to be accessible anywhere and anytime. The research result showed that handling control information systems can help PT. E-T-A Indonesia in controlling and monitoring the claims. Claims handling control information system is also able to help PT. E-T-A Indonesia to entry the claim data in an integrated way.

Abstract

Dinas Kesehatan Surabaya is a government agency which responsible for public health area. Dinas Kesehatan has pharmacy division that has responsibility to implement Make-to-Stock strategy in case for supplying medical items. Dinas Kesehatan doesn’t  have  an accurate inventory planning which may cause over stock or stock out. To overcome this problem, we propose a solution by build an application that can analyze demands data pattern then generate data trend which suitable for the condition. It founds that the data provided has seasonal trend which can  be forecast using Winter method. After implementing this solution, Dinas Kesehatan can reduce inventory into optimal condition which has not much difference compared with real condition approach on November and December. This application has Mean Percentage Error of 26% from forecast result using winter forcast.
