Abstract

Abstrak :  Keberadaan tenun ikat di dalam kehidupan masyarakat memiliki peran dan bernilai sangat baik secara ekonomi, sosial dan budaya. Nilai-nilai ini dapat dilihat dari perilaku atau kebiasaan masyarakat daerah Flores. Pentingnya budaya tenun ikat membuat penulis mencoba merancang buku referensi yang berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan tenun ikat tradisional di masyarakat Kabupaten Sikka khususnya di pulau Palue yang merupakan salah satu kepulauan di Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Buku yang dirancang ini secara khusus diperuntukkan bagi kalangan remaja di Kabupaten Sikka, karena penulis berasumsi bahwa kaum remaja di kabupaten tersebut lambat laut mengalami perubahan akan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya  minat remaja untuk melestarikan kembali budaya tradisionalnya, salah satunya yaitu dengan menenun.

Abstract

Every parents has their own way to lecture their children. But because they feel like their children is theirs solely, some parents apply their policies as their wishes despite how much the intensities. Sometimes the harsh acts turns into child abuses in home. Child abuse is still happening and even increasing every year. Other than wrong way of parent’s lecturing, child abuse sometimes happens because of parent’s impingement even though campaign of children’s rights often provided by many institutions in Indonesia. Child abuses can affect children’s growth in the future. Some cases even gives children trauma, making them passive or even worse, becomes rebellious. This research will provide a friendly learning media for children to anticipate so they know how to behave  when they see things in reality. The learning media will be made in children story book so they have image about unusual acts in home. Research will use David McClelland’s theory, n-Ach, so children have motivation to be a successful person in term of being positive when meet the conditions. Keywords: Child Abuse, Children Story Book

Abstract

Dongkrek popularized in 1910 by Raden Bei Lo Prawirodipura who was a District Officer (post of village head level) in the area Caruban. Society at that time to hear the music of this form of musical art dongkrek 'dung' is derived from the drum or drums and the "crick" of a musical instrument called a match. From the sound of 'dung' on drums and "crick" in this match then came the name of art Dongkrek. According Walgito, that is currently staging Dongkrek art is rarely because there are two types of pertujukan Dongkrek. First, sakralkan ritual in which Dongkrek event logs in the village Mejayan starting with a procession of masks Dongkrek Dongkrek and delivery is only done in suro which is led by Mr. Dul Rokhim (chairman of the association Dongkrek Madison County). Second, the creation of a reception Dongkrek art, through dance performances Dongkrek inauguration. That needs attention at this time, when more and more rare these Dongkrek artists to perform because of the rarity pentasan no call for events in the environment, could be masyarakan especially children become less familiar with this Dongkrek art. Therefore, as an introduction to art Dongkrek Madiun, to be achieved in this research aims to design a pop-up book art using techniques Dongkrek Madiun pull-tabs as efforts to preserve local culture to children. Keywords: Design, pop-up books, Dongkrek, Mejayan village, Madiun

Abstract

Smokebelt Garage is a Custom Culture motorcycle modification workshop. Custom culture is a term for a new American neologism that describes artwork, vehicles, hairstyles and fashion from people who drive and modify motorcycles and cars in the United States from the 1950s to the present. The research was conducted by using qualitative research method that is by conducting interview, observation, documentation, and literature study to get the data used as supporting the making of video design concept of Featue Smokebelt Garage. The result of this design is to design visual branding with videography media from smokebelt garage as an effort to add customer and increase customer loyalty.Kata kunci: Desain, Video Feature, Smokebelt garage

Abstract

A Traditional Ceremony of Kebo-keboan is a ritual of bersih desa that was held in every Suro month in Java calendar which has a purpose to express thankfulness for God. Not only for expressing thankfulness but also most societies of Alasmalang Village have a role as a farmer, moreover, they have another purpose to refuse catastrophes or diseases that attacks their farmland and plantation. By doing the ceremony, the societies of Alasmalang Village believe that if the ceremony is done, they will avoid from the catastrophes which has attacked the village in the past. But the activities in this ceremony are just considered as an entertainment by visitors who come over without knowing the purposes in this Traditional Ceremony of Kebo-keboan.In this design of essay photography book of Traditional Ceremony of Kebo-keboan discusses the activities related to Traditional Ceremony in Alasmalang Village which is Kebo-keboan. By using essay photography technique and quotation in every photo of this book, it will make the readers easier to understand the activities of this ceremony.The existence of this traditional ceremony essay photography book of Kebo-keboan in Alasmalang Village, Banyuwangi, it also helps the readers to understand the activities of this ceremony, the readers are also respectively appreciate the culture which has derived by the ancestors in Indonesia.Keyword: Design of Essay Photography Book, Traditional Ceremony, Kebo-keboan, Alasmalang, Banyuwangi Culture.

Abstract

Abstract: Pancasila is one of the assets of a nation that deserves to be maintained and preserved and given hereditary from one generation to the next is intended that the culture of a nation is not lost in the modern age that is increasingly growing, with their diversity of tribes, People and Cultures in Indonesia is not fully supported by the media information that presents to the children something exciting and new, most of the book Pancasila with something boring or old-fashioned so that the interest of the curiosity of children into declining this is what then makes Pancasila itself not so can thrive and not in demand by the general public especially the younger generation, with the times like these which greatly facilitates foreign culture to enter Indonesia be a threat to the state of Indonesia which will be the basis of the state Pancasila Indonesia will be easily forgotten because of the presence of culture foreign packed with more interesting. Instilling the values of Pancasila in children can be done in various ways. How it can be started from small things were easily captured, understood and carried out by the child. This is so that the child can be easy to do so. Thus, the children feel comfortable and happy to do without feeling overwhelmed. Due to a lack of interest in maintaining and preserving the basis of the state Pancasila itself create the next generation to forget the basic state, as an example of the precepts contained in Pancasila itself sometimes people do not know what the meaning of the content of the precepts that, even some that do not remember what sentence and the symbol of these precepts. Surabaya city filled with various kinds of uniqueness and history that preceded. But we need to know there are still many historical relics that exist in surabaya especially the museum of heroes monument is where the first president of Indonesia Ir.Soekarno declare the text of the proclamation as well as in there are historical events such as reading the text of the proclamation of Bung Tomo who in the era of penjajahn Giving spirit, courage and willingness to die to seize the seized power of the allies. As well as the story of surabaya people who fought against the invaders. Objects - objects such as weapons, clothing, art, and others.But not all people surabaya recognize the Surabaya health museum and especially for students who often do research but do not know the existence of Surabaya health museum, this is based on the results of interviews conducted on the head of the health museum Surabaya. Minimnya less knowledge of society, especially for students in the city surabaya.The purpose of this study is to design a book catalog of health museum Surabaya using photography techniques with this can inform the students in the city of Surabaya.Researcher conducted by using qualitative research method, with technique of collecting data through interview, observation, documentation, existing study and literature study. The results of data analysis, then in the reduction to find keywords that lead to communication strategy book that will be used. By raising "Different" as a keyword that has been found, the word "Different" is defined differently from the others, that is, the book catalog of museums that distinguishes more specifications describes the collection and the results of photography is clear.The result of designing the catalog book of Surabaya Health Museum as well as its media empowerment has made informative and educative elements about Surabaya health museum collections, so it is expected to be a medium to find out information about the health museum collections of Surabaya.Kata Kunci: Perancangan, Buku Katalog, pendidikan sejarah, Fotografi

Abstract

This research is focused on the problem about the imbalanced of healthy lifestyle even though the availability of facilities such as fitness facilities is quite enough. This research tries to provide alternative solutions by utilizing the attractiveness offered in research using story photography. The methodology applied in this research is qualitative approach, and the data is gathered through  observation, interview, and literature review as a reference in creating a  tutorial book of proper body fitness.Creating this tutorial book is necessary since people nowadays are not aware of the need to do physical activities and exercising. Because of that, we often meet people at a young age and are still fairly productive already attacked by the non- infectious diseases which is caused by unhealthy lifestyle, such as improper diet and never doing exercise. Thus, this tutorial book is created in order to help people in how to do body exercise by using objects that they can find around them. The content of the book will be explained through the combination of texts and pictures by applying the technique of story photography.Based on the research that has been done so far, the keywords in this tutorial book is worthy which means precious and valuable. The color that is used in the layout is the combination of green and yellow.Keywords: Design, Tutorial Book, Fitness, Story photography, Worthy.

The habit of teenagers to follow the new trend, make them more interested to buy somethings outside their needs buy by desire. This attitude fosters a consumption culture in the adolesecents, which not careful before buy somethings. Therefore, many sellers use it to commit fraud. However, there are still kids with disabilities.
