Abstract

Abstract: The Great Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) defines a reference book as a guidance, hint source, or referencing source. The designing process of this reference book will elucidate the cosmetic characteristics of Surabaya dance (Tari Surabaya) in which most of the society have less recognition about it. The character in the designing process of this reference book represents the cosmetic characteristics of Surabaya dance that. The cosmetic characteristic of Surabaya dance reference book projected to design the cosmetic characteristic of Surabaya dance reference book as an information medium for Surabaya society. In order to support the book, the research employs photography technique that believes could produce a clear, and high quality image. By the existence of the photography technique, the information about cosmetic characteristic of Surabaya dance could become informative and interesting. Abstract

This research deals with the design of the Keraton Sumenep visual communic ation through photography books to introduce the historical heritage. The background that makes Keraton Sumenep as the main focus in this research because the Keraton Sumenep is one of the accessible historical tourism place in the city. But there are many people who do not recognize the Keraton Sumenep                Keraton Sumenep photography book design aims to introduce the Keraton Sumenep to public because nobody has recognized it yet. Because this is an asset that we should recognize. The book is well choosen as a media to stimulate people’s emotional feeling and it can be printed regularly.                In the study, the researcher applied the qualitative approach and they obtained the information from interviews, literatur studies, observation, documentation, and competitors. Qualitative research design has flexible and changeable nature of appropriate condition in the field. These data was taken from Keraton Sumenep during study.                By the existence, it could produce a book of photography of the Keraton Sumenep that contains photographs of the area and the building of the Keraton Sumenep, the valuable goods and its annual event. Abstract

conducted using qualitative research methods, namely by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library and study to get the data used as the supporter of the creation of the concept design of rebranding. The data were analyzed by using multiple stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data and conclusions. rom the analysis of the data found few keyword refers to the communication strategy rebranding which will be used to achieve the intended targets of the audians. After analysis of the data, the concept of virtue or keyword design of rebranding of "Smart". The description of the concept is smart thinking and the nature of the child that shows intelligence. The concept of "Smart" aims to show that the Zoo in Surabaya was the tour has the identity pndidikan, ex-situ, research and recreation. The concept of smart aims to convey the identity of Surabaya Zoo to the tourists to pay a visit to the place that is capable of offering entertainment and education for children. Abstract

The design of this book aims to increase the reading interest of children by using the media of pop up books and Cindelaras fairy tales. The story of a fairy tale that began to be left by children who are currently switching on television. Pop up book is one of the efforts to introduce the fairy tales story that began to be abandoned. The research used in this design is a qualitative method that conducts interviews, observations, documentation, and literature to obtain the data used to support the illustration design concept from the Cindelaras fairy tale pop up book. After the data analysis process has been done, then found a design concept is "Joyful". Basically, "Joyful" has the meaning is fun. Joyful meaning is actually the concept of an interactive storybook that will be used as a means to provide moral education to the target audience about the story of the Cindelaras fairy tale.The result of this research is to produce a cindelaras pop up book that can cultivate the curiosity of the target audience to recognize or recall the folklore, especially Cindelaras.Kata kunci: Buku Pop Up, Cerita dongeng, Teknik V - Fold.

Abstract

Asma'ul Husna are the names and attributes of Allah SWT. Asma'ul Husna is also the science of Islamic teachings of Tawheed. By studying Asma'ul Husna for a Muslim can get closer to Allah SWT, the Creator. In Asma'ul Husna's learning is usually only a vocal or singing Asma'ul Husna pronunciation. This makes the researchers want to create new learning media Asma'ul Husna. The research was conducted by using qualitative research method that is by conducting interview, observation, documentation, and literature study to get the data used as supporting the design concept of pop up book design of Asma'ul Husna. The results of this design is for the learning media on the target audience. That achievement was first coined by a painter named Sriwati Masmundari.In this scheme, the purpose of which is to be built by the researchers are able to design the book Story of Photography with a collection of photos of some paintings Sriwati Masmundari with its main focus on community traditions Gresik in Ramadan such as Night Market, Nuance prayer on Eid, Kedundangan and atmosphere Lebaran to be reminded again habits of any community-owned Gresik which still survive today.Some of the research methodology used is qualitative method include the following observation, interview, Existing Studies, Literature, and documentation to support the design process of the book Story Photography.From the analysis of the data obtained, the concept is "Masterpiece" which means that a masterpiece. Automatically, the book Story Photography of Damar Kurung Sriwati Masmundari designed by researchers to be one proof of cultural appreciation of traditional painting Gresik which has had some content or authentic cultural values strong.

Abstract

Museum of Surabaya was established since May 3rd 2015. The idea to establish the building came from the Governor of Surabaya, Tri Risma, which at the moment needed space to keep her unused belongings at the storage in her office, and realised that the Siola building was available. Surabaya citizen is clueless about the museum inside the Siola building, and the researcher wants to formulate an information to make the museum recognised by the citizen. The purpose of this Final Assignment Project is to make people aware of what  remains in the museum, especially steam locomotive. By using a suitable language for teenagers, adding subtitle and transition effect in the exciting video, will hopefully deliver the purposed information. The impact of social media is insanely important for everyone. Other than searching for friends, doing online business, social media  is also proved to be useful to look for new information. For that reason, the researcher wants to use the social media, moreover Youtube, as the main tool to introduce the museum to the people of Surabaya. In the making and designing the video, we have had through a complex process, such as repeating takes of pictures, then sorting it. Next thing to do was cutting and adding effect for transition like grading effect, also putting proper music to give the effect of happiness and calmness for everyone who watches it. Abstract

Visual communication is a way of communicating through a visual picture or later will be the identity of the product. Visual communication into a means of conveying information and instructions fatherly, aims to show the relationship between a thing with other things such as pointers, direction, position, and scale. Taking one brand from Surabaya namely Revolt Industry to do the design of visual communication Revolt Industry uses photography as an effort to increase brand awareness. Problems in this final project is how to design a visual communication in Revolt Industry products such as efforts to increase brand awareness in order to increase sales had declined in the last 6 months. The research method uses qualitative methods with data collection technique using observation, interviews, literature, existing studies, and study competitors. The concept used in the design is "interesting". Results from the design of the visual communication industry Revolt is an attempt to communicate the products Revolt Industry so that more people know Revolt Industry as well as educate the public about the quality of handmade goods. Abstract

Wapand Resto Eduentainment is a company which run in a culinary field with their specialty in Chinese and Javanese cuisine made with halal ingredients. Main dishes which usually used in other menus are chicken, shrimp, fish, squid and beef. Wapand also has a huge area which contain fishing pond, ferris wheel, and boutique. But until now, Wapand Resto Eduentainment doesn’t have corporate identity that represent the company which run in a culinary field as well the promotion media. Wapand’s condition right now doesn’t have a logogram which can represent halal culinary company of Chinese and Javanese cuisine, has different logos in every promotion medias, also using red, black, white and yellow as their color identity. So the effort that cneeds to be done for Wapand to represent their culinary business and to compete in a creative industry right now, is to re-design their company’s logo.                Keywords: Resto, Corporate Identity, Brand Awareness

Abstract

The purpose of design media promotion Sanggar Gubug Wayang  Mojokerto in video youtube based culture in an effort to increase brand awareness is as a source of information in order that the large public can know and preserve the culture of Indonesia. Than, this research using analysis research with descriptive-qualitative that is observation, interview, and literature study to get the data used to support the production of design media promotion Sanggar Gubug Wayang Mojokerto in video youtube. And analyzed using several stages, that is observation Extend, Improve persistence, Triangulation, negative case analysis, use of reference materials, Using check. After analysis of the data found a design concept or keyword design media promotion that is "interest". Description of "interest" is interesting. The concept of "interest" the purpose to influence adolescent and lovers of culture and art community Indonesia which has the properties Conserve (preserve) and Art (creating something of high value).
