Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Emotional Intellegent, Organizational commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on employee performance. This study uses survey research design and the respondents are 89 Government Employees of industry and trade organization, located in Kutai. The sampling method used is Purposive Sampling based on some criterias. The result of multiple regression analysis shows that Emotional Intellegent, organizational commitment and OCB have positive impact on employee performance. The result of study shows that employees who have emotional intelligent will work better based on organization standard and they will have better performance. It is also needed employees with high comitment for showing the optimal work so that they can contribute to the corporate. The employees who behave based on OCB, will indirectly influence the achievement of corporate goals since they will contribute to the increase of employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims at knowing the direct and indirect influence of risk and price to online purchasing decision through trust, and the influence of trust to online purchasing decision. The population of this research is 291 consumers. Slovin formula is used for obtaining 74 respondents as the sample. Questionnaire and documentation are the methods for collecting the data. In analyzing the data, path analysis is applied. The results of this research show that risk influences online purchasing decision, but price does not influence online purchasing decision. Then, trust influences online purchasing decision; and it mediates the influence of risk and price to online purchasing decision. The conclusion of this research is that the higher of consumers trust will increase the online purchasing decision although it may make higher risk and higher price for consumers

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of design quality, product innovation, social competence, technical competence, product quality, service quality to customer satisfaction by developing a research model and proposing six hypotheses. The numbers of samples were 150 respondents. They are the users of Toyota vehicles in Semarang. The technique for analizing the data is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) from 16.0 AMOS. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the model can be well accepted. The results of this study also provide a theoretical implication; it is the influence of design quality variable, product innovation variable, social competence variable, technical competence variable, products quality variable, service quality variable to the variable of consumers satisfaction is positive and significant. The variable that dominantly influences the product quality is design quality and the variable that dominantly influences the service quality is social competence. Finally, service quality becomes the dominant variable that influences customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the function of Public Relations (PR) in carrying out the activities of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This study also examines whether the PR function involves implementation, development, dissemination and promotion and CSR activities to support the achievement of corporate goals. The method used in this study is qualitative methods by implementing the design of case studies. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, documentary studies, and participant observation. The Respondents in this study are the stakeholders in PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Area III West Java and Banten. The result of this study indicates that the PR function can work synergizely with CSR to support the achievement of corporate goals. CSR activities can support the function of PR in creating a positive image and foster a harmonious relationship.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the effect of Good Corporate Governance (by looking at the number of commissioners, the independence of commissioners board, board size, and the number of audit committee members), corporate social responsibility and corporate performance (ROA and ROE) on firm value. The objects of study are all of go public banking companies. There are 29 banks actually. However, the samples are only 24 banks. They were chosen based on the observation of data completeness done from 2008 to 2010. The independent variables are GCG, CSR, and corporate performance, while the dependent variable is firm value which is measured by using Tobins Q. The data analysis applied for this study is correlation analysis, determination analysis, t test, f test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result shows that the size of directors board, ROA and ROE have significant influences on the company value; while the board size, board independence, the number of audit committee members, and corporate social responsibility do not have significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the model variables cover innovation entrepreneur orientation, learning orientation, initiative, commitment, adaptability and organizational performance based on the research gap and SMEs phenomena that exists in Semarang. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The data were collected through interviews by conducting the focus group disscusion (FGD), study documentation, and participant observation. The respondents of this research is 135 managers of SMEs in Semarang. The analysis techniques for this study is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS software. The study result shows that the increase of SMEs performance in Semarang is influenced by the ability of adaptability which is built by the commitment on consensus.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of personality traits that consists of agreeableness, conscientiousness, body focus, materialism and need for arousal on the family financial planning. The sample of this research is a group of people who are employees of the BTN Bank Semarang branch with qualitative and quantitative analysis tools. The result shows that independent variables (agreeableness, conscientiousness, body focus, materialism and need for arousal) have significant effects on the family financial planning.It could be concluded that the lack of employee ability in how to manage family finance is caused by their own knowledge and their psychological factor. Psychological factor is often considered as a key factor in family financial management decision making process. The stronger personality aspect of husband and wife as the financial manager, the greater effects will occur on psychological decision to the financial decision. Lifestyle, unplanned shopping pattern, non-budgeted social expenses, environment, and financial management literacy become the supporting factors that cause a bad management or even a failure.
